We are also taking our first WDW trip and going to be in Orlando Nov. 1 - 23rd.......just wondering if this is a super busy time or will it only get crazy busy close to the US thanksgiving???

Any hints or tips for our first trip would be appreciated

November is a great time to visit WDW! If you can, I would go to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party. It is a wonderful evening in the Magic Kingdon and they make it snow on Main Street. Also, the weather is typically very nice, not to hot and not too cold. Although the weather can change on a dime, it is one of our favorite times to visit Florida. ENJOY the magic of your first trip!!!

Ok, so the last time I was at disney was about 30 years ago. Have 3 kids now DS6, DS4, DD 12weeks old, and of course DW. Booked a house off site for the week of thanksgiving 21-28 of Nov. Can't wait.

We are going between november 23 to 29 ad staying in the Contemporary (and celebrate our daughter B-day), but them we will take a 4 day cruise (until dec3) DCL to celebrate both my husband 40y and our 13 aniversary. And finally, we did not got our tickets to dec 3, they have only mileage tickets to saturday (dec 5), so to fulfill this perfect vcation we return to WDW Animal Kingdon Lodge and atend to MVMCP!!!!

Add us to the list please! We will be at Pop from 11/20 - 11/27! We are surprising my son for his 8th bday and I am terrible at secrets!! He thinks we are planning a trip for Spring Break 2010, so he's been able to help plan some or I would've cracked under the pressure of keeping my mouth shut by now.

WOO HOO! Just got our confirmation number from the travel agency (we are going with a dance group). It's getting closer!!!


P.S. I had no idea they changed the reservation dates to 90 days out instead of 180 days out. I called the other day, devastated because I was late and KNEW we would never get into CRT when we wanted it, and the lady said, "Uh, you're WAY too early for this!" I was shocked! She said they changed it in December. Then I came on here and looked it up, and sue enough, 90 days out. Now I am happy I have more time to plan my ADR's!

Unfortunately, we did not get a PIN code and are booked at rack rate! I'm hopeful that a discount will come our way before the trip! We LOVE the Beach Club and can't wait to get there....

It will start to get PACKED around the 20th. My mom and I went the 3rd week in Nov. last year. The park crowds were very light, like a trickle, then on the Friday we were leaving, someone turned on the faucet. People were POURING into EPCOT. We left after riding Spaceship Earth and went to DTD, and there were alot of people there.

But we had a GREAT week that week. The crowds were so low, and the weather was so nice, a bit cold, but great. We're going again this year!!!

I also found it nice to get to the parks when their opening. I'm so not a morning person, but the crowds are lower, they're low anyways. It's nice to walk around with only a few people though, and the opening shows are fun also.

We'll be there 11/4 - 11/14 offsite in Formosa Gardens. We'll be celebrating my BD on the 11th, our 14th anniversary on the 11th, and DD's 11th BD on the 12th.

DD & I will be going back for Thanksgiving week too! I'll be booking this week! We just got back yesterday and had so much fun! Can't wait!!!!
