Shinok87,

We like our travel agent, Michele Snoddy, at Dreams Unlimited. She's professional and we didn't pay any more than those booking directly with Disney. Plus, she arranged all our dining reservations for us. We didn't have to worry about that! :cool1:

I'd recommend allowing a travel agent to handle the details, so you can be free to do other things. Great for me coz I'm a busy working Mom. I'm booked for Nov-Dec 09. Very excited! Thrilled to be missing most of Pop Warner again! I have nothing against organised sports for teens. I think it's great that they have an opportunity to participate in sports. I just want to avoid unnecessary noise and other activities usually associated with teens when so many of them of gathered together. Not my scene!! :rotfl2:

You're going to hate me for this but I would beg to differ. Booking your own trip is very easy and you save yourself a lot more money than if you go thru an agent. They mark things up anywhere from $150-300 at the end of your bill to pay for the time it takes them to book your paperwork. They might not make it clear that it's for their time but it will be in there.

I had them get me a quote for the Embassy Suites in Anaheim for a week. The flights were average price and the hotel quote they got us was 225/night :scared1: When I called to book myself, I got the price we usually get of 175/night. Is it really the "hotel" quote or the travel agents quote?

I don't know about you, but to me that's a lot. That's at least 2 full family meals during your vacation, or even a really nice shopping spree.

Booking your own trip is insanely easy and cheaper than having someone else do it. I just booked out trip in less than 15 mins and I've got myself a nice shopping spree for myself with the money I've just saved.

If you need some help setting things up or finding the good deals, I will gladly take some time to help you out(and at no cost ).

we leave tomorrow morning at 10:23AM.... just finishing some last minute packing, errands etc.... Can't wait:cheer2:
