November, 2009 Countdown Thread!

Hubby and I will be celebrating his birthday at OKW on November 8-13. First visit to a DVC resort. I had absolutely no ulterior motive for choosing a DVC resort.
However, should DH be inspired to invest in Disney property I will be supportive while maintaining a look of nonchalance.
I'm so excited!

Thank you. Looks like your family will be having a magical time at the same time we will. I gave serious thought to both CBR and POR. Okay, I gave serious tought to all the resorts but I narrowed it down to CBR, POR and OKW. I know I'm going to love it no matter where I am. I'd be happy if they'd let me stay under the bleachers at the Lion King show. I'll be on the look out for you. You'll be the one waiting for the rope drop at the Osborne Lights, right?

Yep, I'll be at the Osborne lights the very first night!

I know, it is so hard to choose between all the wonderful Disney resorts. So far CBR has been our favorite. But we haven't tried POR yet. We do like trying new resorts! So we were booked at POR for 8 nights with free dining. Then the room only discounts came out and I somehow managed to talk DH into trying one of the less expensive deluxes for a few nights! So I dropped the POR/free dining down to 6 nights and we will move to OKW for the last 2 nights. I am so excited to be trying 2 new resorts!! Really looking forward to the extra space and the balcony at OKW!

Maybe we'll see you there!

We are staying November 27 - December 5, 2009! This is our 4th and final year for awhile at this time! Hopefully it will be as wonderful as the rest! We will have to find another good time of the year so we won't have to pull our soon-to-be high schooler out of school. Anyways - can't wait, treating ourselves to the Polynesian and we have the FREE DINING! We've never had the dining plan before....

We are staying at CSR for 10 days - Nov 13-22. 7 going, 2 rooms, our 2nd stay at CSR...probably our 12th trip to WDW.

I've got to go get my counter and figure out how many days we have left before we leave.

My husband made our ADRs 90 days out and we got everything we wanted. School started and I put everything away and forgot to start counting down the days. Yikes!

We are getting so close to November for our first trip to disney! We are staying at the Coronado and was wondering if this is a great resort or should I change to a different moderate? I am super excited for the free dining plan=)

Wow! You are going to have a great time. We really enjoyed our stay at CSR last year and can't wait to go back this Nov. We have 4 adults and 2 kids traveling with us this time and will be there 10 days - our longest trip to WDW ever. Normally we stay 8 days, but we aren't going back in 2010 so we decided to go 2 extra days this year. Have a great time planning!
