November 2009 ADR Cancelled thread - Please Read 1st Post

I'm sure this answer is out there somewhere, but can't find it. And I saw on here everyone talking about canceling reservations. So I thought I would ask. Can you cancel dining reservations through the online system and if so how? Otherwise, I assume you just have to call then. Thanks. I know I will be canceling some in the near future.

Yes, just bring up the reservation online (you will need the reservation# and your phone#) and there is a button to cancel it.

You can cancel any ADR online UNLESS it required a credit card guarantee i.e. CRT, Akershus, Cali Grill, etc To cancel, these MUST be called in. I asked the CM once why this is. They told me it's for security purposes and also to ensure that the reservation is cancelled so the credit card is not charged.

I have several ADRs that I will be cancelling. Because the need to be made in advance I made several character meal ADRs that I know we wont end up using.

As our plans are starting to gel, I'm getting a good idea of which ones I probably won't use. I know there is a thread to list them on here. Do I list them before I cancel or after?

I think I'm going to be ready to cancel them by the end of this week or early next week.

Here's what I'm probably going to cancel. Please PM me if you want to arrange to be online to try to book right after I cancel.
