Very interesting, Wednesday night using the AP rate, I didn't end up changing my room because my AAA rate for Pop was the same. I just checked today and the rates are even higher for the night of my reservation!

I just saved $627.70 by switching from POR to CSR. I could have also saved the same amount if we went to CBR. It was a hard decision because we really love Port Orleans but $600 is a lot of money. So we just made the switch.

My AAA rate was also better than the AP rate. I'm hoping Visa comes out with a code.

I just want to let everyone know historically speaking Disney will offer several discounts over the next couple months. If your hotel has nothing left, just hang on.

LY they offered a discount in August, it was a very good deal. Later, I'm not sure when, they offered another discount.

Well I changed my mind a bit and just changed my reservation from Pop to WL using the passholder discount. In reality, we won't be in the room for that long since our flight doesn't land until after 11 PM. However, the reason that I moved was simple: "queen size beds".

I called and checked the new codes and it looks like moving from POFQ to CSR, CBR, or POR will save us abut $350. our TA is working on changing it! We hope to get CSR. The only reason I didn't book that to begin with was that POFQ is half the size. I am willing to give that up to save this much.

I have decided I think I'm gonna start a new list of Nov travelers. So if you have made your ressies, PM me your dates and location. I'm gonna call it the November Confirmed List.

I was attempting to update the other list and started to get too confused with everyone and where they were staying.

I also feel that more discounts will come out. So if you make changes to your vacation, if you could PM me your dates and hotel that would be very helpful (the list is so long that I had a hard time finding people's names to add their resort).

Hi,

Just checking out the codes this Nov. to help me plan for next Nov.

It seems those going the first 1/2 of Nov. had a harder time getting the code applied and had to move resorts than those in the later 1/2 of Nov.

Also, it seems those with POP, POFQ and the deluxe hotel ressies had to switch.

Are these fair assumptions? Any insight would be welcomed.

I think I will book for the later half of the month (not TG week/weekend) and try POFQ knowing that I may have to move to POR.

We'll be at All Star Movies November 7-15

We have room for 3 more on our Birthday Cruise to see the fireworks at MK on November 9. Boat will leave from the Grand Floridian docks @ approx. 8:30pm. You are encouraged to arrive at 8pm at the dock area. You are welcome to join us in some birthday cake!

So far on the boat are 4 adults & 3 boys - ranging from 5-9 years old. It will be our son's 5th birthday party
