Anyone have luck with the GP discount for this morning, booking in November? I'm on eternal hold right now to see if I can apply it to my package...

I was originally booked at POFQ but the only king bed rooms available for the code were at CSR. I saved $299!!!!

We're going November 20-24.

Ok, I just saved $519.68 on our package for November 16-23 at POR!!! I called and used the codes DGP, OXZ and QXD (these were all of the package with dining plan codes that I found), I'm not sure which one worked, but something did!!

I just called for both ours and my parents ressies.

We had CBR 11/28-12/5 6 day park hopper preferred room w/ dining for $3685.20, we now have CBR 6 day park hopper standard room w/ dining for $3098.00. I'm bummed that we had to switch to a standard room, but I'll keep checking and hopefully will get my preferred room back.

My parents had CBR 11/28-12/5 6 day park hopper kingroom w/ dining for $2592.98, they now have CBR 11/28-12/5 6 day park hopper king room w/ dining for $2140.78.

I couldn't use it or it was sold out - don't know which - at OKW for our stay. Oh well....does any one believe a Visa code will still come out? the last CM said that none will??

Visa code usually comes out before GP code, as it's a "perk" for having the card. I would think the CM was probably correct.

Phone only, from what i can tell. I can't find a place to enter the code, so guess calling is the only way to do it.

Last year I was able to enter the code online to apply it when booking, but that was a few weeks after the code came out. This year I can't even apply the code at all (same dates, resort, etc. as last year).

I just saved $630 with code QXD. We have Pop for 9 nights 10/29-11/7 with dining. Old price $3358.75, new price $2728.21. Had to switch to a non-preferred room, though. But for $600 savings, I'll take it!! I may call back at some point and try and get my preferred room back - we shall see.

Thanks for the quick response! I am on hold, so we'll see. I'll just treat it as a new reservation and see if they can give me a code. I have a ressie with AAA, and after going through the online quote this morning, I see that AAA is really not even giving me a discount! It is the same as my online one! Grrrr

I saved a little bit: old price $1745.02 (standard room/park hopper) and the new price is $1487.38 (preferred room/park hopper) for all star movies. All they had left were preferred but that's ok. That's money towards our gas!!

Question:

I have an AP. But, my son coming with me Oct 31 for 4 nights does not. To be able to get this package discount, what should I do since I already have an AP. Don't I need to buy a ticket for me also? ANd if I do, doesn't it have to be used within 14 days?

I was on hold with a SLOW & Clueless CM!!! 40 minutes on hold! She told me it was available for my dates 11/26-Dec 6 at the POP... Then she kept putting me on hold (38 minutes of hold), then suddenly it was no longer available for me! I called back, sat on hold to get through for 10 minutes... GUESS who I got again! MRS. SLOW CM! uuugggg!

I am now on hold again... trying for a different CM!

Woo hoo! Love this board!

I had original quote of $2721 at CBR, then $2521 with a AAA discount, and now............drumroll..........$2,196 with these codes!!! Woo hoo, $325 less! I can't believe I have never done the 'code thing' in the past!

Now I have two trips planned.......better go call and cancel my AAA one!
