So excited for you and your pin!! I have ordered the DVD two years in a row...have not received hardly any emails or mail. In fact...regarding the email from Disney Vacations...why is it soooo SLOW. We have made a few payments on our balance...and you know they just sent me the first email confirming receipt of our first payment...which was paid a month or so ago. Nothing about the $3000 we have paid since then. UGH...I really feel that they are lacking in this area. SLOW, SLOW, SLOW......and since I'm complaining...lol...where is my pin???

You cannot combine a AAA code with a pin code, but I believe you can switch your AAA code to the pin code (if it's better, and you get one of course).

I was just going to post this. My pin code could be used on top of my AAA code I just received confirmation from my AAA Agent today!!! I saved another $88.

So for 3 adults and one baby 7 nights at POFQ w/ basic dining it will cost us $2600

I'm subscribing. I got a pin offer via email a few weeks ago, and I booked a value resort for a short post-Thanksgiving trip, November 30-Dec 3, but it was only 10% for room-only. We're happy to get that, better than nothing, but we would we more excited for a better discount. So if anything shows up, I want to be on top of it.

Is it possible to get a code if you've never stayed on-site? We've been to Disney, I am registered with their site and get emails from them with the usual information, have ordered the planning dvds, and we are booked at the end of November for an AKL stay. But I am hoping for a pin code to save some money for that stay.

Also, do you have to ask if there is a pin code attached to your name when you call?

Congrats to those of you who got a PIN code! It makes us all that much closer to the month of November.

As for everyone out there who have yet to receive a discount, the Disney Visa and General Public discounts will be out soon enough and we will all be celebrating!

All my PIN email says is what the discount is and talks about the Years of A Million Dreams. I got 50% off the values (tried to price out the other level of resorts, but they hang up on me every time ). So maybe just something a little extra for that celebration.

Does anyone know if you can apply a code when using AAA? I'm hoping to get a code or disc for Nov 16-21. And I booked for 2 families if one of us gets a PIN can both of us use it?

I received a code yesterday and used it with AAA. What I was told from AAA was that their rate was deleted and the new rate applied, but I still have everything handled through them. My trip was already paid for and I will get a rebate check in the mail.

Mine was for 2 rooms too and I could use it for both. The maximum was 2 rooms.

I had to switch resorts. It wasnt valid at the Poly for Thanksgiving week. I downgraded to the Contemporary and saved $2930.

Original difference between the Poly and Cr was about $800+ on the 2 rooms, so I saved about $2000 with the PIN.

Got the mail yesterday and there was an envelope from WDW Parks & Resorts, marked "Time Sensitive Docoments". I think, oh it's my confitmation paperwork or maybe the brochure they send out with stuff about the resort. Imagine my surprise when I pull out a flyer for tickets and a Cruise Line brochure. Huh? Never booked a cruise, frankly don't feel we can afford a Disney cruise, why send me this stuff and never a postcard? It's been like 5 years since I got a post card!
ETA, oh yeah, it's the old ticket prices too!

I would say call back and ask again. AAA is only 10% off rack rate (I think), I don't know why Disney would even bother sending you something less than that.

AAA varies, for me at a deluxe (BC) during regular season it is 10% but I have seen it higher in the past.

AAA discounts vary by season and type of hotel:
Value Season: 20% Value and Mod, 15% Deluxe
Regular/Peak/Summer Season: 15% Value and Mods, 10% Deluxe

So it is possible the AAA rate is a better deal.

Just got a Visa Card e-mail, For 1,700*
based on a family of four
in a standard room for stays most nights
1/1/09-2/12/09, 4/19/09-5/21/09, and 8/9/09-12/17/09.

That's only $61
per person per day!

So I would think the discounts will come out soon. I had a hard time finding space at the Value hotels for 11/28- 12/7. Music was the only hotel
