Who's going in November 2008​

I am an AP holder and hoping there will be discounts offered during our November vacation. My family will be at WDW November 22 - December 1 and celebrating Thanksgiving and my 50th birthday. Each time we go to Disney, we try to incorporate a new experience into our vacation. In November, we'll be trying three new experiences:

A cabin at Fort Wilderness
Fishing and canoeing at WDW
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party

I can't wait to decorate our cabin for the holidays and spend precious time with my family ~ I'm blessed. Tell me how you're going to spend your November vacation.

Not an AP member but going in Nov 7 - 16, 2008 and hoping for a nice code! I will be celebrating my 50th bday also (yikes, don't like seeing that in print ), and my daughter will be celebrating her 18th bday! Just the two of us unless we also take her cousin who will celebrate her 14th bday!

We will do MVMCP at least one night, maybe two. It's lots of fun, I think you'll love it! Plus we will do Super Soap weekend the first weekend. Hopefully that's when it is, as it's been that time the last two years, but the dates aren't out yet so we are hoping! Anyway, a great bday celebration!

This time we are doing a split stay

11-24 to 11-30 Pop Century
11-30 to 12-06 Polynesian

I know I know weird lodging combination
- Pop is for kids...Poly is for hubby.

Special Occasion
dd's 6th! Birthday (my baby!)

3 new things we are doing

1) Hoop-de-Doo Review! (Went as a kid..but family hasnt!)
2) Never been to Pop
3) Chef's de France in Epcot - heard it was yummy

We are planning to stay at the GF 20th - 23rd
The BCV for the rest of the week.

We have a decent rate for the GF but are hoping to catch a AP rate as well.
We own at the BCV


You will love the MVMCP We went 6 years ago and loved it.We plan on going again because my daughter was to young to really remember the first time.

Where is everyone planning to spend Thanksgiving????We havent' decided

We are going the 16th thr the 28th. We are staying at Ft Wilderness too!!! In a preferred pet loop. We go in our RV.

This trip will be with our 1st Grand Baby Caida who is due any minute now!!

Wreck ~ Thanksgiving is our favorite time of year to go WDW because it kicks off the holiday season. We're hoping to have Thanksgiving dinner at either Liberty Tree Tavern or Whispering Canyon.

ClynnJones ~ This will be our first time at FW and we couldn't be more thrilled. It sounds like the perfect setting for Thanksgiving.

mikkiwikki ~ You will love WL, especially with the little ones. Our first visit the our kids we stayed at WL and it holds a special place in our Disney memories. Psssst - try to get bunk beds for the kids.

Minniekins ~ I'm celebrating my birthday Disney style with my '50 Years of Magic' year long celebration. The minute I act 50, I think the magic will be taken away.

We are going November 5th - 16th staying at Pop Century.

3 new things we want to try:

1) Dine with an Imagineer

2) Finally check out the Polynesian in the day time because we will be staying there before our cruise in Dec. 2009

3) See the Osbourne Lights

We are going to be celebrating b/f's birthday because then because he will be having surgery on his ankle on his actual birthday.

Mother-Daughter trip November 1-4. Just me and my 2 grown daughters - 18 & 23. Staying at the AKV. Thinking of flying down a day earlier but can't decide where to stay for just one night. We've stayed at the French Quarter, Swan, and Wilderness Lodge before. We will be on the Deluxe Dining plan and want to try some of the nicer restaurants. We are all very excited. I am hoping for an AP rate at a deluxe for the on night extra.

Not to interupt, but I see in your signature thingy that this will be your 3rd SSW trip. I was lurking and following your trip reports last fall until we went to disney for 10 days starting with SSW. I was sure we'd see you and Bill and I planned to say hi. Oh well, we never saw you and I didn't get back to the disboard until recently, unfortunately. I was wondering how you know it will be SSW time for sure. Everytime I call and ask they tell me they don't have any idea and won't know till a few months before. That doesn't make much sense to me for all the planning they must do. Did you hear something somewhere? I've just been assuming that's when ssw was, the 8 & 9th, because the last 2 were that same weekend. Plus it's been in the same weekend that Food and Wine fest closes. And, also MVMCP started the Mon following SSW, and does again so... Which is great, we love it!! We will be going then for our 3rd time also and are hoping for a nice code to use! Last year our deal came in mid Aug. Don't know if I can wait that long, lol!

Also, it has been right before Veterans Day the last 2 years and last year it was on the same weekend as the Festival of the Masters. It was also right before MVMCP, which according to wdwinfo.com the confirmed dates start on November 10th.

We are a grand gathering of 11, staying Nov 21-29th at POR. Our first Thanksgiving at Disney! I too, am hoping for some sort of code. A little worried this will not happen because holidays are usually blacked out, right?
Also, a little worried because we have our hearts set on Liberty Tree Tavern for Thanksgiving Dinner and almost everyone else does too!!!
Anyway, miracles can happen!

I am getting ready to book our trip for 11/7/08-11/17/08. We have only been one other time &, of course, it was awesome!

This time we are going to:

- I am surprising my DH & 2 DS's & go to USO for a few nights. Then we are off to a week at WDW.

- We are going to stay at POR, again, this time. We just didn't have enough time on our last trip to really enjoy it.

- I am going to make ADRs - I know. . . I know. . . I didn't do that last time!

What is everyone thinking about the crowds around Veteran's Day?
