The CM said it was a Visa code. My original deposit was on my Discover and they had to refund that and I had to give them my Disney Visa number.

I was so excited that I didn't ask specifics. I'm sorry.

No, only saving if we move to the All Star Sports. If we upgraded it would be almost $200 more. They "said" that POP is almost full, so no guarantees that it will be available anytime in the future (for this discount).

I have been on hold with a CM for 1/2 hour, she is trying to get me the discount and book the rest of my grand gathering. It looks like we have to move to the ASM but we will be saving over $800!!!! I am keeping my fingers crossed. This is the second person I am speaking with, the first was definatley not as helpful.

The rewards card discounts were finally released. I still haven't gotten mine, but my friend at work has. I called WDW to check prices (11/24-12/1). If we keep our existing reservation at ASMu, we would save @ $200 pp, but we can upgrade to PO Riverside for just about the same price, so "We're moving on up"!! They said I didn't even need my code numbers since I put my deposit on a Visa Rewards card!!

I called on the Visa Discount. It is a package only (must include tickets for all visitors). I needed 7 nights, starting Nov. 16th. She said the YC and BC were available. For BC, 7 nights, garden view, non-hopper tickets, $3222.66.

Can't use it but thought I'd pass along the info.

Hi, we didn't have a Disney Visa but i did the instant application on disney.com and was approved! They gave me a reference number to use until i get my card. I wonder if we can get the cardholder discount too?? My AAA agent is going to call and give them the code and the reference number! I am praying we can still get the deal...Anyone done this??

I just spoke to Calhoun at Disney reservations and he said the AP rates will literally be out anyday... He also said he thinks they will be out by the end of the week but really any day.

When are you going in November? We had two adjoing rooms booked from the 6th-12th with PH and dining and we could not use the discount on rooms in POP. We did get two adjoining rooms in ASM 5 day PH and dining for 2741 for 5 people. Over $840 savings!!

Just FYI, I just checked, and as of 11:12 am, notice of the Disney Visa code was NOT on the Disney Visa Rewards website (or on mousesavers.com). Even though I couldn't use the Visa code, I sure am glad I've got the DISers looking out for me!

It just showed up on mousesavers....at 11:32 am. It wasn't there at 11:31, but then I refreshed and there it was. So odd that I looked after wdhinn89's post and it wasn't there (still said it was current through 8/11), then it showed up there 20 minutes later, even though I was re-entering the site every time. How odd!

11/17 - 11/24, 2 adults, 1 child, 5 day hoppers, dining plan

They didn't have anything at POP available, so I upgraded to CSR and saved $4!

Had my original reservation been for CSR, I would have saved $519 with the Visa discount, so I will just keep telling myself I saved $500 and that makes it all better!

Sounds like CSR was pretty empty or something since that's where a lot of us are upgrading to. Stayed at CSR last October and loved it!
