Have you considered flying out of Philadelphia on Southwest? They've got all types of fares as low as $79. We've used them several times with great reliability.

Hi newjmom...I booked my airfare right after JetBlue released their November fares and got the best price so far from that airline (paid $795 for 4 tix). I did see over the weekend that AirTran had some low rates (found them on www.kayak.com). If you're in Northern NJ, consider flights from White Plains, NY airport (HPN) as well as Newark and see what you come up with...last I checked, AirTran had tickets around $175 RT including taxes and fees.

We booked our airfare Memorial Day weekend (for fear of the costs going up). We are a group of 10 so I found going directly to each airlines website gave us the best info. We decided on a Delta flight from Newark that leaves at 8:30 am on November 2 and returns from Orlando on November 9 at 1:30 p.m. The cost of the flight was (with taxes) $220 per person. You should check travelocity, orbitz etc. for flights but watch because they will add money for taxes etc. that the airlines don't add (probably so they will make a profit). I also recommend checking flights from White Plains, Philly and MaCarthur Airport in Islip. The one thing you might still need to consider is what the added cost will be if you are having a limo/taxi take you to the airport. It could even out the cost of flying out on Newark vs. flying out of Philly.

Well, a few days ago I decided to book room only and hope for a code. Then, I found out that the trip I was hoping for in March came through. Greece for 9 nine days (only me - no family)!!! I have never traveled out of the country before (well, except Canada 30 years ago!). I feel horrible since that means probably no Disney. I am hoping to pick up some extra work from my second job. I will make my Greece trip but I want to take the family to Disney too. I need a great code! I feel like a horrible mother. Luckily we did not say anything to the kids and we told them no Disney until 2008 or 9. I still want to go in Nov. though! Think great code, great code, great code!

I booked then bought airfare to make sure I couldnt weasle my way out of going again thia year. We live in washington state and we got $92. each way. Then I thought about a day lay over on one of our conections and it was $250 each way and that was less then half way home. No wonder people watch for months to get airfare deals. We are paying $50 less this time each than last year when I watched the boards for a year.

I got a price through aaa and it was $200 less on 10 nights and park tickets then I have booked through Disney for pop cen. But I thought I'd wait and see if the code bring it down more than that.

We cant use the code and aaa can we? I didn't think so but maybe somebody has gotten to. Now I'm just trying to decide if we should do the dining plan or not. I'm not impressed with the kids choices, they got pretty tired of eating that stuff last year after 5 days into the plan and to have to eat it again this year for 10 more, there not thrilled. But counter service we can split. So well see. Mum

Air out of Newark for Jersey Week is insane.

You may want to try JetBlue out of JFK. We moved our trip from 11/3 - 11/10 to 11/6 - 11/13, and are r/t'ing out of JFK in order to get better airfare. We were able to get $89 going, $99 back. Depending on your flight time, they had (may still have) sales as low as $59 going. The return flights have gone up ($139 minimum last check). Newark, at last check, is still around $299 each way

We're heading out Nov 8th - 13th and not so patiently waiting for a code to come out. We finally found airfare for $59 each way out of Memphis with both Frontier and Airtran. It's the cheapest we've ever found.

We will be flying out of Syracuse and the non stop flight is $194 down and $229 coming back. We can get a flight with a layover for $139 down and $119 back but I am really holding out hope that the non stop flight will go down. If it doesn't in the next week or so then I am going to take the layover flight.

We would be changing planes at JFK. How is that airport to get around??
