If you don't have ADRs yet for Thanskgiving you may be disappointed it what is available. I know several things are already booked solid.

I can't get a decent time for Le Cellier for the whole week, and I called at 180 days out!

Yeah, the ONLY time I could get for Le Cellier on 11/24 was 9:20pm!

Sometimes Disney sends out postcards or emails with "pin" numbers on them that can be used by the recipient only. These pin numbers have a discount associated with them. I have gotten them several times in the past, but since I'm on the West Coast, a trip to Florida takes a lot of time and planning.
I've heard of people calling Disney and checking to see if there is a pin number on file with their name. Not sure if anyone has been successful, but its worth a try for the discount.

We had a "pin" or discount under our name for our trip last year. You have to have stayed at WDW previously to be able to get this discount and from what I've been told it's random on who gets the "pin" or discount.

I would strongly doubt that they'll offer free dining during this time. It's not a quiet time of year for them.

I agree. Even the value season around the holidays is getting popular and I seriously doubt they will offer free dining (hopeful wishing never hurt though!). The room only discounts they offered last year during this time (Nov. & Dec.) were pretty pathetic (but even a few dollars saved is nice~we were lucky to get a better discount with the pin under our name) and were very limited.

Has anyone ever been successful asking if a pin was connected to their name? Sounds like a good idea, but I just hate disappointment...

We have been to WDW and stayed on property at least 25 times in the past and when I called the other day to see if any "pin" was attached to my name it was not...even the CM on the phone made a comment on how many times we have stayed there as they have that all in their system....I guess the "pin" codes are just random. I booked at AAA rate and I waiting for a code discount to come out and hopefully be better than AAA.

I currently have an ADR at Le Cellier on 11/24 for 5 people at 8:15pm. IF I can get the CP I want for that night I'll be cancelling my ADR. If you want it, we can try an coordinate calls. Let me know.

Are ya'll having a problem getting Le Cellier all day, or just for dinner? We tend to go at lunch, and since I haven't made our reservations yet (yes, I am waiting to see what kind of codes are available) just wondered, since it is our favorite restaurant.

And thanks for all the updates, you guys have saved me lots of phone calls! :thumbsup2

I had asked for anywhere between 5-6PM and the CM told me it was booked all day up until 9:20PM. I didn't inquire specifically about lunch but she seemed to be implying that there was no chance I'd get anything else. This was for two people.

Would love to coordinate but our ADR is only for 2, so not sure if it would work out! PM me if you do change!

Keep our fingers crossed.

I hope we get some! I would love to be able to tell DH that we're saving some money on this trip. He's always complaining about how expensive it is.

I would say that the chances that a AP discount or general public discount will come for this time because I have been hearing that Disney has been having trouble filling all their rooms lately. But that could all be hearsay.

Try for LeCellier again.I called yesterday and they had availability for the 18,19,20,21 all for decent time either around 450 or early 7. We're a party of 4. We decided on a 630 on Nov 18.

Just booked with CRO with Disney Visa code. Saved about $400 off rack package rate for 7 nights at All Star Sports. :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc

Hi, I just called and changed my reservation, saved $534 dollars for our 10 night stay at AKL! This is using the visa cardholder discount, its almost like getting the park tickets for free. :cool1:

Hiya,

Advice sought!

My DFi and I have decided upon a WDW Honeymoon and will be there 11/16 through 11/28. I was going to ring up and book our hotel (Pop - we love it there!) tonight but decided to hang on a day or so (due to dollar/pound rates here in the UK), then I saw this thread...

Do ppl recommend I go ahead and book or wait? I am unsure about booking and then ringing back IF a code comes up and asking for the discount in hindsight - does that work?

Thanks for any and all help. I did not realise until recently that ADRs can now be made 180 days out so of course that is now a pressing concern that we want to get those booked asap so waiting on a code might jeopardise our meal plans further.

Cheers!
Gaspodé

I admit it, I can't hide it any longer. I am personally responsible for the code release.... I paid off my reservation yesterday :rotfl:

What are your dates bkcwilliams? I'm in All-Star Sports 11/18-11/25 and hoping to save. I also have Disney Visa.

You can change your reservation once a code comes out if you want. Also, about ADRs - you can make them without having room reservations. Then, if you choose to have the DDP as part of your reservation, just inform the CM that takes your reservations, that you already have the ADRs. Hope that makes sense.
What a wonderful place for a honeymoon. We spent 3 days on our honeymoon there in 1989.

Just got my Disney Visa Statement in the mail & it doesn't say anything about Disney CardHolders Getting a Discount.....
HELP ME PLEASE !!!
Where can I get this ???
Thanks !! :tilt: :flower3:
