November 2003 Trip

I need some advice from the experts. We will be taking an 8 night trip to WDW in the beginning of November and would love to stay at the Polynesian again (we were there for the first time in Dec. 2002). If I am reading correctly, there are no "room only" discounts out for this time yet. Can anyone tell me when discount codes came out last year and has there ever been a time when discount codes were not offered at all? We have APs from our last trip so I do not want to book a package. I will be watching for AP discounts but it makes me a little nervous to wait until that late date to make ressies. Any discount would be helpful. Thanks.

I believe AP rates for that same time last year came out the end of July. The year before that they were out around the first of July. I'll be watching for them with you!

You can make your ressies now and switch to the AP rate when it comes out.

Hi Lisa3,
Just a suggestion - why don't you book now through Dreams Unlimited. They will watch for discounts and get them for you if at all possible. I booked at rack rate several months ago and my agent has already got two code discounts. I didn't have to do anything at all. I'm still hoping for AP rates (not out yet for out dates) but in the meantime, all discounts are welcome. If you want to do it yourself, you should still book now even at rack rate.
