November 2 on the 4 day Wonder!

Sheila - you are coming quite a distance! Are you staying at WDW at all during your trip?

Wow that is quite a way to come. We are happy you will be on our cruise with us! :cool1:

Wow Lisa, that's so nice to be getting married on the beach.
Karen, yes we are going to WDW for 3 days before the cruise. I haven't been since I was a teenager and Becky and Caity have never been so we wanted to have a little taste of WDW along with our cruise. We are going to be staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge because Becky is nuts about giraffes.

We are staying at the Animal Kingdom Lodge for our Honeymoon after the cruise. I have never stayed there....I hope it is nice. There is a whole thread on the DIS boards about the hotel. I have read it and now know what to look forward to!

Oh yeah, how did the show opening go?

Sheila - It was sold out!! YEAH. Thanks for asking. If you need help in planning your three days, DO NOT hesitate to ask. It will be the Food and Wine Festival at Epcot, which is our favortie time to go! We are stying after the cruise, but arriving on November 1. We'll be heading to F&W, DM has never been!

We are wait listed for AKL. I am so jealous of you all! I doubt we'll get in being AKL is the newest DVC and every one wants to stay there! I hope we get lucky! We are having breakfast at Boma, however.

Hi everyone! Another Maryland family checking in for this cruise! :thumbsup2 Our family consists of me (Kathy - 48), DH (Denis - 47), DS17 (Denny) and DD14 (Katie). This is our 4th Disney cruise, and we are SO looking forward to it. (There is a slight possibility that my DS17 won't be able to go due to school commitments, so my DD14's BFF may be joining us instead.)

The kids have 2 days off that week, so we'll only need to pull them out for 3 days.

As my kids grow older, I know these family times will be fewer and farther between. I love DCL's family activities, although I have a feeling that my DS17 will be off on his own quite a bit!

I am looking forward to getting to know you all.:goodvibes

YAY! Another MD girl! Where are you from? I am in Lansdowne, near Arbutus.

Kathy - Welcome!! Our little group is growing. You might be the true veteran with 4 cruises. Amen to the family time being fewer and far between! DD is finally old enough to go to all the adult places this time. We are looking forward to it.

Kathy, I put you on the list on the first page. Let me know if you want to play with the gang on the fish extender exchange and I'll update the post to reflect it. I'll need your stateroom number :)

Hey Everybody.....we will be joining all of you Nov 2nd on the Wonder!

Our little clan will be our granddaugher (Emma-7yrs old), my husband (Pop aka Tommy) and me (Nana aka Dianne). My husband and I have sailed before, but never on Disney and this will be Emma's first cruise.

We hope she will be able to find some friends to play with in the kids clubs and around the pool. She's a pretty social kid so I'm sure she will have no problem.

We look forward to seeing all of you!!!

Dianne

:welcome: party: :disrocks:
Ok, two new members in one day we needed to party.

Dianne and Kathy are you going to the parks before or after the cruise? If yes, where are you staying? Inquiring minds want to know! If you read back through the other posts you can see who is staying where when. I may just have to summarize it in one post.

Shelly has done a great job of keeping track of everyone on board. Thanks for doing that.

We also have two weddings in our group one before the cruise and one during on CC.

Welcome again.

Welcome Welcome! Two new members. We are going to have a great time!

We are not going to WDW but will be driving down from Covington Georgia on Saturday Nov 1st. We already have permission from Emma's Mom/Dad to take her out of school 4 days.....we didn't want to push our luck any further.

Emma doesn't know it yet but I have already made her a 30 day "count down" chain that I have numbered from 30 down to 1 on one side of the link and on the other side I have put things like "Don't forget about the Pirate party" or "Have you started packing yet?" or "Don't forget to pack your Princess dresses". I just thought it might make the last month go faster.

Look forward to seeing everyone!!!

Dianne

Dianne - you are a good grandma! How fun.

Hello and welcome Kathy and Dianne.
Dianne, what a wonderful idea for your granddaughter. She must be so excited.
Karen, that's fabulous about your play. You guys obviously must do a great job to get that kind of reaction for your shows. I may not have gotten the name right, we are not part of DVC, but I know we are in the Animal Kingdom something-or-other!:confused3 My niece told me that her travel agent said that Boma was the best restaurant in WDW. What goes on with the F&W? Thanks for the offer of help with our planning. I am still trying to get the girls to pick out what their must-sees are but I will definitely be picking your brain later.

Kathy, I put you on the list on the first page. Let me know if you want to play with the gang on the fish extender exchange and I'll update the post to reflect it. I'll need your stateroom number :)

Thanks, Chelley. We're in for the FE. Looks like fun! I just need to buy or make one soon! We're in stateroom 6620 - we love the back of the ship! :)

Hey Everybody.....we will be joining all of you Nov 2nd on the Wonder!

Hi Dianne - I guess we're the newbies for now on this cruise!

Thanks, Karen. Two weddings - how awesome!

We are flying in on Saturday, and staying at the Four Points Cocoa Beach that night. (It looked cool online and I had enough Travelocity points to get $50 off), We are not flying back until the 8th, so I am trying to decide where we'll spend those 2 nights - it will definitely be somewhere at WDW!:cool1:

Welcome Welcome! Two new members. We are going to have a great time!

I sure plan on it!!:thumbsup2

Hello and welcome Kathy and Dianne.

Thanks!! I look forward to meeting all of you!!:goodvibes

We're in stateroom 6620 - we love the back of the ship! :)

Us, too!!!

Sheila - DVC = Disney Vacation Club. Both my mom and MIL are members. F&W is in Epcot in World Showcase (WS). There are 25-30 booths set up around the 'world' from different countries. Each offers 3-4 samplings of native dishes that run $2-4 each. Most have a red and white wine offerings. Check out this website for more information.

We are in double digits and three months will go really fast .... I CAN'T WAIT. :cheer2:

PS. I stand corrected Lisa and Kathy are our veterans with this being their 4th cruise!!! I just needed to set the record straight.
