I was able to book ressies for my cabin only at the 105 day mark.(REAS) Since we have the second cabin in Kellis name, I have to wait til 90 day for some stuff. This is what I was able to reserve so far. I hope to add to my Palo brunch when I get onboard.

Ron!

This is too funny!

We were on the beach on Wednesday - at the Indiana Dunes. Went camping there Weds through Fri. How funny!! You might have blown right past us - LOL!

Kris

Kris- we did Capt Marvins direct last year with no problems. I am hoping that Doogie hears from them soon about a group thing. Or from Nativeway. Would be nice to visit Rum Point beach at GC. Never been to the beach there.

TRI CIRCLE D- That was the name. Are you still with us? Can you take the orders for the t shirts?

Pretty soon we can post a listing of DIS meets for the cruise. I also will do a door sign on my cabin door that has all of the DIS meets listed.

We have a good group of folks here. It will be a great cruise.

Willie

Hello all- we are still in on this cruise. I do have a local contact for the t-shirts, and can probably come up with something attractive at a very reasonable cost. I'll have them propose a couple of designs and see if I can post them on this thread. I had them make shirts for my DW's 40th b.d. last year, and the whole process took about two weeks, so we have plenty of time. Since we have such a big group, I will get going on this so everyone has time to order.

Zeke....that was me listening to some of "Willies favorite beach tunes" sucking on some MGD lites.........

As a prelude to the cruise, we are spending the week in orlando now - of course it helps being florida residents and annual passholders - but it is a veryrelaxing week since most florida schools started this week. although they do not serve miller lite, the rose and crown is a great place to cool off and some of those british beers are pretty good. seriously, we look forward to seeing everyone in november.

Anyone up for a Northwest Indiana sunset? From the other side of the lake...........

Ron,
can I come live with you? I could be your lawn boy/fishing guide. I am a bad mammy jammy on the lawn tractor! Those are some awesome pics.

Will

Willie the water is 88 degrees gotta go deep for them big bass......I skied Sunday and when I got back in the boat I was actually sweating as I got out of the water........

i have bookings......................

We are booked for the following:

Monday - Palo brunch at 10:30

Tuesday - Palo dinner at 8 p.m.

Parasailing on friday for us - 1:30 p.m. Paige and I are going.

Taylor is very initerested in the CC bottom fishing excursion. It is only listed on Friday on the website, but i was thinking of Sunday. Anyone planning this, or done in the past? i'm leary of the seasickness factor

Preston and Taylor are definately interested in Stingray snorkeling at GC after lunch, doogie i'll be interested in your group booking if it's that time slot. I'm letting them decide if they go with the group or book on their own through Disney. DH isn't into the disboards and doesn't feel the family love yet :rotfl:

Ron - your pad looks awesome! btw -- my TA is still having trouble linking us to your dining group. She said you were shown as booked, cancelled, rebooked and then cancelled again. so - if you can either PM me your ressie number or call your girlfriend???

Tri-Circle-D -- we are still game for t-shirts at the Marshall house! 4 for us, 3 adult and 1 child

i'm so excited it all seems so real and close booking fun things to do!!

wine - tasting question ---- i don't think we can prebook this. i believe we pick up tickets at guest services once we are onboard. we'll have to coordinate a time to get them together?

ohMom,

The 90 day mark isn't until August 21st. I have to assume you were able to book because you have the REAS package?

Jeff

Alright Molli!
Yes, I think you are right about the wine tasting. We could not find it either.

And now for some great news- I just got an email from Doug(Doogie). He has put together a great trip at Grand Cayman. It really sounded fantastic. I will let him post the details.

Willie

Ohmom.....thanks....having issues with Costco, yes saved $$$ but things aren't smooth.....my "girlfriend" I believe is in California and I have to see if she can get me my 2 rooms across the hall from each other.....You know the old saying, if it sounds too good to be true....it is!!!
Kim and I are going to head to Gatlinberg Saturday night :moped: in the vette. She thinks we need some "adult time" together.....What ya think? Adult time and me in the same sentence :rotfl2: Just a long drive in the Smokies......

Gang,

Here's the skinny on the GC excursion...

We chartered with NativeWay Watersports last year. I called them today. They will do full day private excursions for $50pp. They need a minimum of 12 ($600). Any additional persons beyound 12 are $30pp. Here are some of the details: http://www.nativewaywatersports.com/hoteltours.html#charter

The Magic's GC port times are: All-ashore 7:30; all-aboard 4:30.

We’d be better off doing a private excursion and spending longer at Rum Point Beach & stingray city. I’d vote for Coral Gardens, Stingray City then the rest of the day at Rum Point. They can also provide a videoagrapher.

I will be calling them back to confirm:
Payment terms (if I guarantee the deposit can we each pay separately)?
How many can they accomodate per boat?
How many boats do they have if there is a 25 person limit per boat?

I need to know how many in your party are interested. There are 9 people confirmed so far for the private excursion. They may only be able to accomodate 25 per boat.

Does anybody have a copy of the menus from last year that you could post images of? I can put them on the web site....
