Thank you for the birthday wishes!! Each child in Mason's kindergarten class made a birthday card for me yesterday. It was very sweet!!

 hi friends!

TGIF!!!! DH is traveling today home today, just a short trip to NYC but still

anyhoo -- it snowed again here! ugh! when is spring coming? i had a 60 min powerwalk yesterday with tiny snow/sleet pellets hitting my face on the return loop - i'm done with :cold:

got some movies for the weekend, waiting on my blockbuster.com flicks in the mail hopefully tomorrow -- anyone have some good rental recommendations?

can someone post for me the link to our website -- we (what i mean when i say that is DH) stripped our pc last weekend for routine maintenance and i lost my favorite link for that one for some reason. i have a couple more pics to send

did you all watch the dateline last night on cruise rooms? ick factor very high -- it's nothing new just same old bodily fluids in odd places. please someone tell me DCL washes the blankets often?

have a great weekend everyone? any big plans???

I am going to run for cover on this subject!!!!

Hi OhMom -

So sorry I forgot your name :-O

Anyway, I was almost going to watch that show on Primetime, but decided it would probably not be a good thing to do - LOL!! I figured I might be better off not knowing.

Also, we are blockbuster.com members also. I watched The Manchurian Candidate this week (pretty good, but very long!) and last night my son and I watched Shark Tale - very cute!

ttyl,
Kris

Ken -

Don't know if you have Spirit Air where you are, but I booked our tix in January with them and paid $186 r/t pp. I just checked their website and the fares (from Chicago) are a little bit higher ($225 pp) now, but still not as bad as they might be!

Kris

kris -- i'm sorry i keep forgetting to sign my name, I'm Molli :)

anyone link me to our Turkey Day Cruising Website that doogierunner set up? pretty please with sugar on top ;)

i was avoiding the MCandidate b/c i thought it looked a bit deep for me :) i had trouble following the Bourne movies, my mind wanders and yes, i'm a natural blonde. well, i used to be :teeth:

i'm a bit miffed at blockbuster.com - i was hoping for delivery today and just checked my queue and nothing was sent -- out of 16 movies I have only 4 are available now and they didn't bother sending anything on the return of my last movies. urgh -- i may have to go back to netflix

You are all talking about movies,

Did everyone preorder the "Incredibles" movie from their local Disney Store. They are offering 15 % discount on all your purchases for that day, excluding the movie and another 15 % on your purchases when you pick it up on or after March 15th.

Also "Bambi" will be available on March 1st.

We had 7 more inches of snow yesterday here, :cold: flurries today and they are predicting a Northeaster for Monday/Tueday. When will this winter stop. I'm going to shoot that ground hog. Road kill anyone

Just ordered oil for a Monday delivery. The price is up to $1.819/gal, its up 20 cents since the end of December. OUCH !!!!

Kids are all off from school :teacher: this past week, winter recess, they are supposed to go back on Monday, as if?? not with a NEstr coming.

Mollie, To go to the web site, just scroll back a few pagers and the link is there on one of the postings.

ken :cool1:

ohmom,

Here's the link:

All,
Just got back from seeing "Million Dollar Baby". Awesome movie.... it's about boxing but in no way resembles any "Rocky" script. No, sex, no steamy love. The theater was totally silent... ;)

Lamps, got a new 62" DLP TV this weekend for the basement. We're not big TV fans, but had a 100" screen in our old house and miss it dearly for movies and sports.

Hey Molli -

I can *totally* relate about the mind wandering thing - LOL! In fact, Manchurian Candidate is not the usual type of movie that I watch just because it does take a lot for me to concentrate on a movie that has a more complicated plot. But I did like it and you might give it a try :-)

Also, I'm eagerly awaiting Bambi to come out on dvd. I am starting to collect the Disney animated features by date of release and am up to Bambi.

Kris

Kenny, I 've been watching that storm since last Tuesday....we were supposed to get it. looks like the "lake effect" is just east of us. Laporte and Michigan City again. Just missing us by 20 miles or so.....missed to the south and east.
Doogie, I was never much of a "big screen" guy 'till our new house. I have a "projection" that hangs from the ceiling and is able to go from 42 inches to 12 feet.

Hey Willie, so I get home from work Saturday and our phone has 23 new messages......yep, I made the paper!! Our comminity newspaper had a pic of me at the pot luck on page 2!!! :rotfl2: All 5400 homes recieved that paper!!

Well, here we go again, This time a North Easter, :cold: they are predicting 6 - 12 " with 50 mph winds. Will this winter ever stop. It started out as a lamb but boy is it going out like a lion.

Just got home from Work, "TDS" and it was dead, only 4 sales from 6 - 9:30pm, all plushes. Oh well! got allot of cleanning and restock those shelves.

Have a great one everyone.

I wish I new spirit booked that far in advance, I am not waiting for Southwest to book from Chicago to Orlando. Or, USA 3000 now flies there too. I got greedy waiting for the best rate, I hope rates like you got come back.

It takes a real man to be that confident in his manhood! I have some shirts that I wear that are pink, but.... I don't think I am in your class, Lampy! Normally, I would say "How embarassing!" for ya. But, I remember, I AM dealing with "Ron Bon Jovi" !

Our air is still over $300 nonstop from Houston, so I am holding out. Checking every day. Teresa, do you have any idea when Southwest fares come out? I have a feeling that is when Continental will drop their fares.

I was in Austin this past Sunday for a soccer coaching clinic. Gosh it was a beaut of a day! 73 and sunshine! I got to feel a little of that "sting of Summer" on my face at the end if the day! I guess I am strange, but a slight sunburn feels great to me. I really enjoy spending all day outside in sunny weather.

Willie

LOL Willie.....looks like Indy has a "special" going to Orlando on Friday. 99.00 but still no deals comming back on the folowing Saturday. Looks like 224.00 for the return....
I have had it with winter.......more lake effect last night. Crown Point had about 3 inches and schools closed in Michigan City.......

Lampy,

Just buy the ONE WAY tickets only, and solve both problems at the same time.

No charge for that advice.

Willie

Hey Willie, maybe it will be cheaper the following week....how bout a back to back?? :cool1: Too bad kids have school.....the airfare usually gets cheaper in june or july.....I'll just keep on checking....

I can't resist   1700 posts

I need a life............ :rotfl2:

Willie, southwest just started something called Zip or somesuch, where you sign up for limited time offers, sometimes just a few hours long. This might be something good for our trip. They send you an email notifying you of the offer.

I had to put a sweater on this morning, but today is a normal high of 68. :sunny:
