Happy Birthday Chuck! (sorry a day late :teeth: )

My dad will be celebrating his b-day on 11/24 - turkey day this year too! how fun!

Happy belated birthday Willie!!

kenny - more snow! :cold: oh my! we've had a bit of a warm up but i hear tell the 30s are on their way back

i noticed my flight prices went up -- any guesses on whether they'll just continue to rise at this point or any chance I may catch a break? My family is pretty set on going to DisneyQuest on debarktion day -- please please tell me if we're overscheduleding! :confused3

Happy belated B-days Chuck and Willie......54 inches of base at Crystal mountain and it snowed ALL DAY Sunday......picture perfect sitting in the lodge with DDs watching the snow fall by the fire place sipping a few miller lites watching the "great american race' on the big screen.
Doogie you'll like this.......my neighbor (whose cottage we went to) baught a new Excursion.....he call it his "man truck". Doesn't know why anyone would buy an Expedition......yep, he slid off his driveway and got stuck......when I pulled my tow belt out of the Expedition I asked him if I should pull him out with the Liberty or Expedition.........LOL :rotfl2:

Hey, it must be getting popular.....just checked DCLs web site. We have another friend (family of 4) considering sailing with us.....all cat. 4-12 for a family of 4 ARE sold out.....

Yeah, when our friends were making reservations, they were told that this cruise was selling fast due to the Magic being in CA all summer. So not very many western sailings available. In other words, WE BE SPECIAL!

WOW.........everyone MUST be sailing with us......Just recieved an e-mail from "beaches". Remember we were supposed to go there rather than sail last Thanksgiving? 3800.00 7 nights ALL INCLUSIVE!!! Including air fare out of Indy!!! That's the week we are sailing!!!! Beachfront room and yes all the miller lite included.....

Lamps,

You should have pulled your neighbor out with the Vette!!

You know why the cruise is nearly sold out?????

'Cause those on this tread are so FUN!!! :cool1:  :rotfl2:
It's not how you get there, it's who you travel with ! :goodvibes

Hey Mollie, OHMOM,

I keep checking airfares too and we are in the same "Boat" airfares keep climbing here also. Last week when I checked they were $100 RT cheaper, OUCH!!!!, anyway, I had two nonrefundable AA tickets which I had cancelled, Long story and had to reuse or loose, So I booked our flts down on AA, $325 RT OUCH, OUCH!! I never pay that much for flts to FLA. Anyway, when I was doing my research I found that the reason for the high price is the return date. We are flying down on the Thursday before 11/17, two days at Wilderness Villas and the parks before the cruise. The cost for that flt one-way was only $79/pp but when you add on the return OH-MY-GOSH price jumps to over Three hundred dollars. There just isn't any inventory for all the people traveling back home after Thanksgiving.

I even went out to Monday to see if the fare dropped, Nope, no on our end. So here I sit with only two tixs. My daughter didn't want to bite the bullet yet so she will have to make her own flt ressies. I just hope I don't have to wait in the airport to long for her. :confused3 Maybe I'll just go to the Hotel and check in and come back for her?

Good luck everyone on your flt ressies.

Ken

Just booked room at Hard Rock Universal for Thursday/Friday before the cruise. We haven't been to Universal/Islands of Adventure in a couple of years, and we always wanted to stay onsite once.
Still watching flights. Right now direct from Houston is about $307. Last year we paid that, then the cost dropped a week later.
We are kinda limited on flight times, as we have to fly out Thursday evening. and want to return noon Saturday(26th) and your right, that is the peak travel weekend.

Lampy, that beaches deal sounds great. We have been wanting to go there sometime. May look at it again for 2006.

Willie

Is anyone else ever brought one of your childs friends on vacation with you? We are bringing DD15's best friend. I know they get to these teen years and they don't want to go anywhere with just the family anymore. I was wondering how it worked out?
These two get along great, but 9 days is a long time with one buddy!
Anyone have some experiences?

Willie

Hey Willie, last sailing the "Fargos" all came with us but Alli and Brooke roomed with Jessica.....I know it's a little different since her parents were there but Alli prefered bringing a friend.....They are wanting to bring a friend....not sure

Thanks for all of the birthday wishes!! We went out to dinner at Japan Inn for Chuck's b-day. It's his and Mason's favorite restaurant--they cook the food on hibachi tables in front of you.

Willie-We hope that you enjoyed your special day as well!!

For a short month, February is very popular. Tomorrow is my b-day and like Willie, I have chosen to stop counting the years!!

Reference signatures,

There was a posting on the other boards, that due to a security issue all HTML posts (ie, signature files, count down timers, pix's) will not be displayed. So that is why you now have jibberish.

Go to your personal (CP) folder and delete you sig file, this will get rid of the jibberish.

kennyk :badpc: :badpc: :badpc:

Thanks Kenny for noticing that--isn't that terrible that people would misuse something that fun? :sad2:

I will do that. But I notice that some signatures are still working?

Thanks for the birthday wishes!
I am thankful to God to be riding this old planet for one more trip around the sun!

Hey Yall, check out this website!! http://www.cruisecal.com/dnn/

It shows EVERY ship, where they are, and when they arrive and depart. It is really cool! We will be able to see what other ships will be in port when we are! :teeth:

Or should I say. . we can see what other ship's passengers will be jealous that they are not on the Magic! :rotfl:
