I take it this will be your first cruise. You will totaly love it. We just adore cruises and can't wait for the next one even though it's 11 mnths away.

We and Melissa's mother (Dora) (Neverlandclub's mother) are also grandparents. so you won't be alone. My daughter and grandson (12) will also be sailing with us. If you send me your email address I'll forward you a list of all our registered cruises with there names.

...Good idea about the DIS names,real names. When we introduced ourselves at the first DIS meet, everyone was giving their DIS names first. My daughter still thinks that Johns family names is the "5J's." And we did get some looks in Diversions when we hollered "HEY! MOM'S GOOFY!!!"

Hope you're enjoying your 30something degree weather! It's not much better in southern Illinois, but at least having to shovel snow like Lampy!

And for whomever asked about the Palo Brunch on Thanksgiving, we were one of the DISsers who did that...Willie had to spilt up our group of 24 to the two sea days. We had a great time! It was nice to sit with folks and enjoy a yummy meal...the stollen was to die for! Lampskies could probably tell ya'll more about the day...I think he and Kim closed down Palo as they did a few other places I'm sure! Ron is truly the life of a party!

Well we made it!!!!! Yep, it was "white out" here thru Sunday morning....When I got home Saturday night around 6 DW (Kim) said "Let's go out to dinner" so we did.....We went to Outback in Merrillville......can you believe they closed at 9 and we sat there with the owner and drank 'till 10:30. I LOVE that Expedition.......It doesn't even know what snow is!!! LOL We got 24 inches in Crown Point and we are a little East (unincorporated). Ya, Laura us and the 5cjs and the Fargo family "closed" Palos for brunch.

But no shoveling for me......I was woke up Sunday morning at 8 a.m. by they beautiful sound of my neighbor plownig my driveway!!!!!!

Only skied once. we were going to go out again but the wind chill was tooooo cold for me

BTW 24 is real life. i bet this happens everyday, and the goverenment just protects us!

Played racquetball and ate junk food! OK so i am bad but at least i am still showing a loss for three weeks. (5 lbs) could of done better but football, cold weather, and food got the best of me.

the 5's is how we sign everything, here is the story (as i say it, Julia's is a little different)
Jeff was born "C" section. while the doctor had her opened up i said "ooh, that looks neat, can i see more" then julia said "what do you see(meaning-what does the baby look like" i said" i see fat cells and your stomach lining, etc.... well she did not like that! Then i said hey Kitten, this was easy, let's have another!" well all of the nurses and the doctor broke out laughing. Julia just laid there! wishing she wasn't strapped down so she could clobber me! While picking names out for our next (we never found out what we were having from any baby, kind of like peeking at your christmas presents) at that point we agreed that our kids would all be a "J" name.

So there you all have it, and in a few hours i will too for typing this out to everyone to see!

Hey John, do you know miller lite has only 98 calories and 0 grams of fat? LOL O.K. first part of the cruise has begun......one of my lenders gives reward dollars for contracts fumded......Last year the started in June and I had 3700.00 built up......looks like they started this year in Jan. The miller lites will be flying.......

I have a grandson who is 12, He'll be 13 in Jan 06, He's in the 7th grade, he'll be sailing with us on the T - day cruise, along with his Mom. This will be his third cruise, 1 - 4 day, 1 - 7 day and the T - day 05.

He does not have an email address though.

Doogierunner, Doug, I would like to be chased by that "big Fish" about now as opposed to the cold and snow.

Lampskies, Ron, GM has a program that I can "win" a trip on the wonder. I think it is concierge level. It won't be easy as CSI scores and beating prior year service profit compaired to my peers.

They will have just turned 15 when we cruise. They are 8th grade this year, freshmen when we cruise. You might contact them on that board.

Re Punta Cana... Is it me, or does Punta Cana look a little too far East for a Western Carribean cruise? Beautiful place, though! I would have no problem going there. Or Costa Maya, either. I figure I have been bit by SO many mosquitos in my life, that they don't have anything that I haven't already had!(NO FEAR, or as we say here, ain't skeered)

Bill....I know all about those "CSI" scores.....My 2 neighbors are service Mgrs. and are doing a "GM" trip to Hawaii in May?
Willie....Diversions it is......hopefully my Bears will have a turn around like my Bulls have..... I was looking at the same thing on the map....one of my neighbors is going to sail in October and wants to fly out of Gay to Sanaford (No DCL transportation there yet) so I do have to call my "girlfriend" and see what transportation options there is......maybe I'll get the "scoop" then.......

Today is a great day!! We received the "green light" at work today. We are now officially approved for the Turkey Week Cruise Part 2!!

We are very excited!!


I see that quite a few of ya'all have preteens and teens, do any of you have younger children travelling w/ you? Our DS, Mason, will be 6 at the time of the cruise. He met a lot of great kids at the OC last year, but it would be nice if I could give him the names of some Disers. Please let me know!!
