just one 4 day wonder last december

i'm on the WISH board ALOT! LOL there is a group of us going to WDW January and participating in the 1/2 marathon

We live off of I-75, two exits north of I-275

If you have to stay over night....we have a bunch of hotels up here
There is a Children's north here, but i'm sure you go to the main campus?

We Buckeye's do have to get together

Congrats on you "first job" Julia!! DD Alli asked if we were going "for sure" Thanksgiving again. I told her yes. She has a friend whose parents want to sail that week also.....So how many are there officially going?? From here?

Hey, Oh Mom & Zeke, glad you guys are on floor #2. Most of Disers are on 6th floor. We have rooms #2052 & 2054. On this last Turkey cruise, we also did 2nd floor. We did not spend too much time in the room at all...just shower, dress, and sleep. The best part about staying on the second floor, we can take steps to go up the next floor straight to the service desk.

How about Cinderella, are you around? what floor will you be on?

Ron! Thank you, thank you...I'm glad you're all going. Are you all settled now in your new home? What rate were you going when you empty several boxes while you have Miller Lite in one hand?

On our last cruise on the Wonder last September we were on the 1st deck. We didn't mind at all - it was rather quiet down there

Watched the video footage that I shot from the cruise last night. I don't know why I did not film too much of the DIS crew. Will have to correct that next year. I did have some great footage of the sailaway and pirate parties.
Also, the video from Capt Marvins was great. We got to be captained by the old Captain himself.
Next year we are going to try and do the full day with Capt Marvins. Includes a conch dive and beach meal at some country club.

Got DCL to give me the 10% I would have got on the ship.... And I forgot this year I didn't pay for transfers....so next year IS actually less!!!!!
Yep Julia, we are all moved in!!! And you know me well...I'll move everything I can with one hand....If I'm off expect me with a miller lite in the other!!! Our high speed internet is to be installed next Wed. at home so I can upload our 188 didgital pics to the web site....

Well, we WERE going to be on Deck 2, but........we just found out we have a little bundle of joy due in August , so no trips for us next year!

Don't forget that our cruisemate, Teresa(Silver7) is now in her new job booking Disney trips of all sorts. Including Disney cruises! So, if you have any pals that are thinking about joining us, refer them to Teresa. It will be great for us here on this thread having someone with "insider info"!

W.I.S.H. = We’re Inspired to Stay Healthy

There is a whole section of the DIS dedicated to it. Essentially a losing weight/exercise type place. I have participated in challenges for other months, and they really help me keep exercising. A motivation tool, so to speak.

teresa -- oh yea i'll be challenging myself next year to keep my weight where it should be so my cruise dresses all fit actually i'm considering walking the Cols 1/2 marathon next Oct just for that reason! it's really been an experience training for the WDW 1/2 in a positive way for me

John -- thanks for the invite but you're right this will be a quick trip. My brother lives near Blue Ash so we'll crash with him Mon night and then her appt is at the main campus tuesday at noon -- then directly back home to all that awaits in christmas preperations!

Finally got my countdown a workin! Yee Haw!

OK- Re Vegas. I am booked on a "Guys only" trip April 23rd-26th. Don't know yet which hotel we will be staying in. Last year we got rooms at Imperial Palace for $35 night on a special. I suspect we will be at Harrahs this year. Any of you guys wanna join us?
FYI-we do behave! (within reason .)

Now before you gals flame me, I am also going to surprise Kelli with a Vegas trip July 1-4. No final arrangements there yet either. Probably take her to one of the nicer hotels on the center strip. Anybody want to meet us there?

I used to spend A LOT of money on hunting leases and tournament bass fishing. But now I coach so many youth sports, I don't have time for those hobbies anymore. So this is my "Corvette", so to speak!
