Good Morning All!!!
Well, after a late night,,,I mean early morning, well, actually it was 1:30am, aw heck, I don't know...anyway, I was sooo excited I had to catch up on the posts to wind down. We're almost ready to load up & get kids, but we keep counting suitcases!!! Six isn't too bad, gotta have 1 separate for Orlando & return clothes because IT'S ONLY 29 DEGREES HERE!!! WHO ordered this cold weather??!! Dang!!! It was 82 here two days ago! But it's not as bad as Doogie & Tana & lots of others so I'll shut up!
DH just decided we should try to hit an earlier flight...oh goodie. Let's rush now!!! He wants to shop some in Orlando...(and put it where???) OK, we'll leave it in the car @ port w/ our warm clothes.
So, adios for now, will possibly check in via wi/fi in the ATL airport...may be waiting a bit. But for sure we'll see you all in LIME GREEN @ the port!

OK... I know this was a "long" time a go... but it keeps lurking in the back of my mind... am I the only one who is suspicious that Mrs. TCD actually hates Oprah and Martha??

Mrs. TCD really does like Oprah and Martha. Mrs. TCD really does not like to hear about misbehavior by TCD. I know it is hard to take me seriously, but I am being serious. If I was home, I would go ahead and take some photos of our house. Mrs. TCD is a serious decorator. She even has the oldest DD watching Oprah. It was just the other night that oldest DD is telling Mrs. TCD what was on Oprah that day. Something about 90% of women wearing the wrong bra size. You know TCD is the only male in the house, and he doesn't like hearing this kind of talk, that's how I remember it.

Mrs. TCD subscribes to the Oprah magazine, and she used to subscribe to Martha's magazine. These are always in our home library, and sometimes I even look at the Oprah mag. That Dr. Phil is really something. I also always read the last page where Oprah says what she knows for sure. Old Oprah is a little full of herself, isn't she.

Mrs. TCD took the TCD girls to Chicago two summers ago. They went to the American Girl Place, Navy Pier, some museum, but the highlight of their trip was when they saw Oprah driving around in her Mercedes! She allegedly gave them a thumbs up. Mrs. TCD had her photo taken next to Oprah's car.

Mrs. TCD actually has a bicycle basket that Mr. TCD thoughtfully purchased for her from Martha's catalog, back when Martha had a catalog. Mrs. TCD has a t-shirt that says "What Would Martha Do?"

Mrs. TCD really does like Oprah. Mrs. TCD really likes Martha. She really does not like it when people tell her that they have or had a pet named Molly; and for some reason, that happens a lot. I am just trying to be helpful here. Trust me.

I just got out of the shower and just thinking I would need to put in another 1/2 hour nap today...I have been up too late in the last few nights...so to get my energy back up...a nap would do me good.

Sorry, Maria! I would really like to be on here 24/7, but I do have somewhat of a life. At home, Mrs. TCD is suspicious about all the time I am on the computer suddenly. I sometimes have to do some work at home, but not too often. Mrs. TCD is worried about me getting too friendly with some of you.

Florida Weather Report:

The temp gauge in the TCD Expedition for this morning's ride to work was at 68.

We have a cold front coming through this morning. This means clouds, wind, and maybe a little rain. It will also mean a little cooler weather over the next few days for Central Florida- highs have been in the 80's, now they will be in the 70's.

The front should have passed by later this afternoon. If any of you are arriving in central Florida today, don't worry about the clouds. It is going to clear up and be beautiful for Friday through Sunday, at least.

Good lord, YES girl!! Carryons?? ~ between my camera equip backpack, DH's Laptop, Ipod, Techno junk backpack, & the kids Beer carriers, I mean bookbagss, we'll look like a bunch of Pack mules going thru the airport!!!

OK that evoked outloud laughter (i'm at work). THE KIDS BEER CARRIERS!!! OK... true confessions, we have two kids and TWO KIDS BEER CARRIERS as well (one nicely disguised to appear as though it really is a kids carryon [it is the disney version])

Mrs. Doogie is also a walker. We both love deck for and deck 10 (early) for walking.

Tri-D, is Mrs. Tri-D a walker. Give us a reason to get her up early so she's broken in for Grand Cayman. Shopping on GC is... not good. The only way to have fun on GC is to spend the day with fellow DISers!!!

Doogie- Sorry, Mrs. TCD is not much of a walker, and is definitely not much of an early riser on vacation. Unfortunately, Mrs. TCD has been staying up late the past couple of nights getting things ready for the cruise. She is tired, and we still haven't even done the real packing. Mrs. TCD doesn't let me pack for trips like this. Camping, yes, but cruises and other civilized trips, she has to do the packing. You know, the girls have to have clean underwear and all that stuff you don't need when you are camping.

But, you never know. I think Mrs. TCD will want to get up early for CC, we can let her sleep in on Monday, and then she might be rarin' to go when we get to GC on Tuesday. Me? I can sleep when I get home. I'm going to live it up on the ship!

Hey Laurie- I'm sure you will check this board again from the airport; how can you resist? The temp should be in the low 70's in Orlando when you arrive. It might still be a little cloudy, but don't worry, it is just a front moving through, and you are in for some nice weather through our sail away on Saturday, at least.

Okay, this is getting bad.... I guess I am totally in "vacation mode " now. Just checked email - DS cub scout leader sent an updated newsletter. Subject line said "bear stuff" Why did I see it as "beer stuff" at first glance????? Pam

I never found out- can a rolling soft sided cooler count as a carry on? Or does beer need to be in an official duffle bag???

Well my Kid's beer carrier's are counting as carryon that's for sure... now granted they will not be filled with beer for the plane but they will be for boarding!!!
