November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

Aww, what adorable pets! The hardest part about going on vacation is leaving behind our furry babies (1 GSD, 1 Maine Coon, 2 mutt cats, fish and whatever bug entomologist-in-training DD Alicia is preoccupied with).

Hey, I am not on the "Flippin List"! I had a feeling everyone was ignoring me, I don't even register on the list Guess I better quit packing and start posting more!

And finally, all those at early seating will be witness to DH wearing jeans to dinner for 2 nights. Yes, I have lost the battle to dress up my husband, and I gave in to him for 1st night and Pirate Night. At least he agreed to wear a jacket for formal night! I take my victories were I can get them, no matter how small the victory. Sorry if any will be offended by my DH, but he is a very casual man, doesn't care what anyone thinks of how he is dressed. My daughters and I, however, love the dressing up for dinner. I just hope I remember to wear the looser dresses towards the end of the trip!

He-He-He Gina!!! LOL! And I thought I was the only habitual Wal-Mart junkie!!! Today will be MY third time too...to stock up on more Airborne & get the kids some cheap digital cameras. I was going to go the route of the disposable ones, but for what you pay for them & developing, you can own & keep & reuse the new digital ones!! Most avg. about $14!! As much as my daughter loves to take pix...that's the route we're going! No more "fuzzy nose" pix to keep. We can download on board & she can keep shooting!

Andrew - surely you will be locking your computer before you leave the office - you definately would not want anyone "snooping" around and finding hard evidence of just how many posts you have managed these past couple of weeks and still going strong I might add I take it your bag is packed and you are all "READY", too or is your story ~ Mrs TCD just loves packing for everyone and you would really hate to take that pleasure from her?????

And, BTW - I just may score a few points with Molly - I worked for Longaberger baskets in Zanesville, OH many moons ago!

No need to lock the computer. I don't have a boss. My legal assistant probably wonders why I am sometimes laughing out loud in my office when she thinks I am working on an appellate brief. Oh, my goodness, I just remembered, I really do have to get that done by Friday.

No, my bag is not packed. I will pack it myself (just like Dan with those clean clothes). We seriously have not started packing yet. Last year, we went on the 4 night Wonder this same week. That left on Sunday. We had all day Saturday to pack and do the last minute stuff. I guess I had better get the suitcases out. Also, need to clean the kids backpacks out to make room for the beer.

You worked at Longaberger?! You are right, Mrs. TCD is going to be all over you like stink on a monkey (Bill, had to borrow that one from you-I like that saying a lot). One year for her BD, I gave Mrs. TCD Dave Longaberger's biography. As you might know, it came out after he died. I wrote a personal message to Molly in the book, and signed it Dave Longaberger. She was really touched (even thought she noticed how similar the deceased's handwriting was to mine).

That Dan of yours sounds like a real treasure. You are one lucky lady. Plus he appears to be very observant.

I'm with you on the suggetion to Julia, I think she should go buy John a speedo, and a pair of overalls, and that is all he gets in his suitcase. How fun will that be?!

Thought I would stop in to say goodnight, waiting for 12:01am to go online and get my boarding passes for SouthWest. They should give me preboard because of my little one, but I am taking no chances. We need to all sit together. I got Madagascar on DVD today for the youngest set to watch on the plane and keep busy. I know I am probably forgetting to pack something, hope I remember before I leave.
I am easy to spot at port. Blonde chasing 4 kids with tall hubby.

We are in Fredericksburg, VA. Did you get a good deal on SW? When we lived in Woodbridge, we flew that alot to Kentucky to visit DH family. But now that 2 1/2 hour drive to Baltimore is a pia..... Unfortunately, they usually have the best rates!!!! There was another guy- I think he was travelling with his daughter- who posted a couple times and he is from MD too. Pam

Tropical Depression Twenty-Seven Discussion Number 10

Statement as of 4:00 am EST on November 16, 2005

There is no real evidence that a surface center still exists. No
westerly component of low cloud motion can be discerned on
nighttime infrared channel images...and an earlier Quikscat
ambiguity plot was not at all convincing. We will wait for visible
imagery and additional data to confirm that the depression has
dissipated. It appears that the depression...or its remnant...is
about to be drawn into a more dominant low pressure area over the
southwestern Caribbean Sea. Indeed...this latter system is the
more impressive-looking feature at this time. Additionally...the
upper-level outflow from the southwest Caribbean disturbance may
disrupt the smaller and weaker upper anticyclone under which the
depression was expected to move. If this is the case...then the
upper-level flow would not become more favorable for
intensification...or regeneration.

Hey Julia and other ladies:

I forgot to mention something else about Mrs. TCD. She likes to decorate. She will love talking about faux finishes. We have two murals in our home, and Mrs. TCD likes Trompe L'oeil. You know what that is, don't you, Julia?

Mrs. TCD loves to look at decorating magazines and planning things for our home.
