Okay, now that it is 3 days until we leave..... Some questions

1. People who bring "beverages" on board in carry ons- what type of carry on holds 2 cases of beer?????? ( I guess I am in the "stow under seat or in overhead compartment" thinking.. We are driving, so it doesn't matter.) Isn't that heavy? Can you use a collapsible rolling cooler as a carryon????

2.. On the serious side, that carry on ques pertains to DH. SInce I will be carrying "necessities" in my carry on, what are the size requirements for carryons? Can a rolling duffle be considered a carry on? I just don't want to get too loaded up if we have to tote it around all afternoon.

3. Is it to much to ask DS and DD to carry a back pack on board? I don't want to be the mean mom......

4 When they say 2 checked bags per passenger, basically we can bring 8 suitcases of any size (for 4 people)? I plan on filling one with the "stuff"- pirate gear, etc...

5. Green Shirts- we wear them at the terminal, then at the sail away party? Is that correct???

6. ladies- do they have a pretty good selection of bathing suits on board? I never got around to getting a new second one, not sure if I have time to drive 50 miles away to the nearest place around here where I can get one before we go....

7. On pirate night, do adult usually wear their stuff to dinner or change later??? Is everyone dressing up in some form? How about kids?? I don't want to get this stuff together for DS 8 and then have him say- I'm not wearing that- noone sle is dressed up.....

8. Grand Cayman- Has anyone ever done Atlantis submarine excursion?

Anything you can answer will be helpful!!!!! Thanks, Pam

1) I have a rolling duffle bag that does hold 2 cases.

2) You won't have to "tote it" if you have beer Willie and I will help "lighten the load" :rotfl2: Also, when you board you can go right to the room and put it on ice!!

4) 2 checked bags don't include carry ons.....If you have 8 bags for 4 people....you ARE WAY overpacked.....JMHO!!! We pack one with shoes....last year Alli packed 15 pairs....1 each for clothes and one carry on....

5) Kim is planning on the same thing......

6) Just dressed in my Carribean attire!!

8) No need for the sub ride.....just spend the day in Andrews cabin and save the $$$$$$$ :rotfl2:

Anyone know a whole lot about poetry? I have analyze one via a paper before we depart and have a question.

OK.. foolish to ask but serious respondees only :rolleyes1

Andrew,

How big a back pack do you think Mason could carry for Lampy? You know some rodents can carry 10 times their weight.

Willie

I will post some more pics of my family. Andrew needs some more material.

Kris and Maria-Thanks for the support!!

Andrew and Willie--You both are too funny!! Mason loved the OC so much last year that he hardly ever left the Club. He ate breakfast w/ us and then allowed us to take him to the Mickey waterslide and pool for a little while each afternoon. Other than that, he was more interested in the activities. As a result, we never did get a nice "family" picture. Pilgrim Mickey had to serve as a "stand in".

Your welcome! You all packed?I still have a few things to pack.I will be doing most of it tomorrow after my test as well as Thursday evening!

All of you crack me up!!!! :rotfl2:  :rotfl2:

Lampy, could we (as a group) be breaking any child labor laws with having the young ones carrying such a heavy load on their backs?!?!? :confused3

And for the teacher problem with talking about the upcoming trip, Lady put a sock in it!!!!!!! :earboy2: It is a child and they are excited. Are you such a prude and shriveled up that you don't remember being excited about something? As you can see that hit a bad chord with me. Maybe you should have had Lampskies talk to that teacher!!!!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Has anybody been keeping track of all the posts that Andrew (TCD) has states "No need to mention this to Mrs TCD"

It would seem there are quite a few. WOW Leverage. We wouldn't use the word Blackmail, after all he is a Lawyer.

He may want to take the fifth - or drink it. :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I'm almost done packing, Finishing touches tonight. Speaking of finishing touches, we will be doing the hair tonight so I can look like Cindy's sister instead of her mother.

Can't wait to hear those 2 words that put such a amile on my face

"Welcome Home"

Mary

My ds is 10. Jokingly, his teacher was thankful that our cruise is this holiday and not x-mas. She wasn't sure they could last the extras weeks,of my ds excitement. 2/3 teachers are very supported and going out of the way, to get test and stuff in before we leave. The 3rd one, is an old BAT. She refused to give science test pior to trip. So I guess I know what we will be doing on the plane. :confused3 :teacher: But she won't ruin our fun!!! :Pinkbounc :Pinkbounc :cool1: :sunny: :cool1:
Also, ok to post our infro.

It's going to be Mexico....are there any child labor laws?

Okay, my DS is only 7. He is strong but clumsy. I don't think I can trust him with my drinks. Plus, he is easily distracted and he could loose the bag.

The AccuWeather.com Hurricane Center reports Tropical Depression 27 remains poorly organized as it moves into the central Caribbean. As of 10:00 AM EST the center of 27 was located about 305 miles south-southwest of San Juan, Puerto Rico, moving west at a speed of 12 mph.

The storm has maximum sustained winds near 35 mph, with higher gusts, but the system is expected to gain strength over the next 24 hours.

Tropical Depression 27 is forecast to move west to west-northwest course over the next 3-5 days. As the system tracks toward Central America, it will enter an environment favorable for it to reach hurricane strength at the end of the week.

AccuWeather.com Hurricane Expert Joe *******i says "I have no reservations about Tropical Depression #27 growing into a Cat 2 or 3 Hurricane Gamma."

OK, sorry that I have not been at my post. Dang these clients who expect me to work on their cases to earn my fee.

Hold on a minute, I've got to do something.

OK, just had to loosen the tie, and roll up the sleeves. We are going to hit 4500 tonight.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

FYI another perfect day in Central Florida today. Low 80's, blue skies. It is supposed to hang around until Saturday, at least! So, we are looking at a good day for embarkation. I'm going to take it one day at a time.
