Ok, I know we are all getting excited about this trip...When I picked Mason up from school yesterday one of the teachers (not even his own teacher) told me that Mason is telling everyone at school that he will be on the Disney Cruise next week and everyone else will still be at school!! She wanted to know if we could speak to him to maybe be a little more quiet about his excitement!! Please keep in mind, he's 6. What do ya'all think? Is there any hope that he will make it the rest of the week without getting in trouble? :wizard:

WHATTT??!!! Sounds like that teacher is having a major jealousy thing going on. How in the world do you tell a 6yo not to be excited about a Disney Cruise. Of course, he is telling all the kids! Maybe just ask him to leave off the part about everyone else still being in school might help a little. But hey, the kid definitely has bragging rights.

Go Mason! Lisa, I have been meaning to ask you about the family picture in your signature. The caption says "The Eiss Family." So, I am assuming that is you, Chuck and Mason in that picture.

I know this isn't really a nice thing to say, but Mason really doesn't look like either you or Chuck. Could this be one of those baby swap cases? I don't know how to say this nicely, but doesn't he look a little rodent like? And, what is up with the pilgrim outfit? I think that is child abuse.

I'll post the "Official Flippin' List" as soon as I go back to my laptop.

In the meantime, here is our photo and we all look awful in this, as it is after the 2 hour bus ride that turned into a 4-1/2 hour bus ride.

And here is the family enjoying the welcome aboard buffet. You'll notice that dh is too busy stuffing to pause and look at the camera.

I don't want to stereotype but:

-Yoga

-So. Cal.

Are you sure you want to go on this cruise?

This is not the sprout sandwich and granola crowd.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

TCD- you're a smart guy and I knew you'd put 2 and 2 together eventually.

For the record...YES!!!!!! i am sure I want to go on this cruise
and EWW, ICK, I hate sprouts (but do love granola). And I haven't had any plastic surgery so I'm not a "real" so. cal chic.

Don't hold it against me, pleeeeaassee.

What's the possibility of having a contest - you have to go to the DISers cabins and get them to sign the spreadsheet. The person with the least signatures gets Lampskies' bar bill. :earseek:

A kind of variation of "tag," but you have to actually meet the people. I know that sounds difficult for this reclusive group. :snooty:

Speaking of games, who is the games director?

Paul Goofyhouk

I like any game that involves someone getting my "bar bill" :rotfl2: :drinking1

The intellicast path for #27 has the storm tracking a bit north once it approaches Central America. GC is now in the "yellow" zone. Don't know what everyone else thinks... but an Eastern would be just fine with me!!! As long as we get that double dip on CC :cool1: .

I'm with ya Doogie!!!!!!!

Pam-

Isn't this board great? Ask your questions, and your new friends are here to help you out.

I see an obvious answer to your first question suggested in your third question. Sometimes it just takes a third party to look at your situation to help you solve your problems.

I'm thinking that a child could easily carry a backpack with 24 beers in it. That is such a great idea, thank you for suggesting it! :rotfl2:

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

And I've got 3 sailing with me....let's see 3x24  That sould get me to Monday... :rotfl2:

Kris- You have a nice looking family. Thanks for posting the photos.

Your kids look nice and strong. A case of beer in each of their backpacks=4 more cases on board!

Now post that flippin' list.

We stayed on Deck 0ne on our Wonder cruise last year. It was fun having the portholes under the water. Like being on a submarine. Also, if you get started early enough, you can get the potatoes peeled and the other chores done in time to get out on deck before sunset. Got to love that fresh sea air after being down below deck all day.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

After all the "trouble" I caused after they cancelled out 02 Eastern.....they offered me a deck 1 verandah......anyone know what room that is? :rotfl2:

Doogie- My only concern is that if we go Eastern, I doubt that we will get the Double Dip. The Eastern begins with two sea days, which allows the Magic to get to St. Maarten for the third day of the cruise. If the true reason for us leaving CC early on Sunday on the current schedule is to allow sufficient time to get to Grand Cayman, then I can't see that we would have any where near enough time to travel to St. Maarten. Hopefully, I am wrong about this. I still have a hard time understanding why we have to leave CC early on Sunday. I do not want to miss our Double Dip!

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

You are correct Andrew.........unless they use another port in the East!

Maybe Lisa is sending him to school in his pilgrim costume?

Lisa, you don't need to rub it in! :rotfl2:

And, I've been thinking about it, maybe Mason does look a little like Chuck after all. He still needs to loose the outfit, though.

OK, thanks for clearing that up. You can still come on the cruise. Doogie is going to be disappointed, though, I thought we had some more of the free spirit new age types for him to hang with.

You don't talk like a Valley Girl do you?
