Still having trouble getting the little icons - Obviously drag and drop doen't work here.

But Annyway - I bring cross stitch and books with me for the quieter moments.

But then - I haven't sailed with all of you before so maybe there won't be any quieter moments!#$%$!

Ken and I will be sailing with our dd and dgs. They have cruised with us before - Grandson is turning 13. We pretty much have to beg him to spend time with us. He loves the Kids Clubs. Rarely eats with us.

Does any one else do any needlework? I take it wherever I go. Then if we have to wait I have something to do.

Looking forward to some of the movies too. The list for September was impressive.

September Navigators can be found at **********************

While planning this we are also in process of designing and building a geodesic Dome Home in Central Florida. very exciting but sometimes my brain feels like it's on overload.

Need this vacation.

TTFN

I almost typed ( MºOºM ) as my sign off - That's for my kids.

Mary

I'd still like to figure out how to add the little smiley faces.

Mary-You and my mom would get along great. She does a lot of crossstich and needlework. She loves to sew with or without a pattern. :earsboy: She takes it everywhere she goes.I can't say I have got her talent .You just click on smilie, and have your miouse pointing to where you want it at. ::MickeyMo
We are looking forward to the movies too.We want to go and see Chicken Little sometime while we are onboard.I am bringing a book with me,and a mag.I am leaving my books for studying at home.Ken has mentioned the dome home to us.I bet it will be great.

Maria

Man o man!
I have some catching up to do

I have to read back ten pages, so i'll be back later
Are we going to get to 4000 post by tomorrow?

John :earboy2:

John,It wouldn't surprise me if we got to 4,000 by tomorrow. We are just a tiny bit full of excitement. :Pinkbounc

Maria

Ron/ Doodie
Nice cars, but do you know how to drive them?
Run those RPM's up
or are you afraid you'll crack that Chevy block? :moped:
Or Plastic?

John :earboy2:

I dont know why they blocked that web address but it is a ************ dot com
Thats Tony and Barbs site.
Gosh - when we went on our first cruise - Grand Princess - we couldn't find any information other than the official website. It's a beatiful ship but we didn't enjoy ourselves half as much as we do on Disney. :earsgirl: :earsgirl:

Mary-Thanks!I will go and look at the navigators on Barb's and Tony's site.I have been after DH to try a new cruiseline just to compare, but he insists no.We are both happy with DCL.

Maria

While the Grand Princess was a beautiful ship, and we had a veranda, we still felt like sardines.

I know the thinking is that you will not spent a lot of time in your room, but still!!

We have cruised Disney ever since. ( I don't miss the casino)

Yes we are building a Geodesic Dome Home. It is not as weird as it sounds. We are hurricane proof. Fire proof.

Its an interesting topic - see AIDomes .com

Maybe that will be blocked as well.

Mary-We have heard that the other cruise ships staterooms are rather small which is one thing that has kept us away from them.I mean one isn't in the room much, but when one is in the room,we would like to have some room.We figure if we want a casino we can drive to Tampa or to MS.We enjoyed the casino in St Maarten, but it wasn't that big of a deal.Hey!Living in FL,it is best to be hurricane proof as well as fire proof.I will have to look at the site!

They need to move the port cam at port canaveral as I am tired of looking at Sun Cruz Casino! My friend went on their twice, and she got sick both times.I don't we will be taking any sun cruz gambling trips.

Happy Saturday to all of you!

Maria

Sherri and Kris--

Yeah on the Diet Pepsi! :cheer2:

Another thing I look forward to is the first dinner on Saturday--and knowing that we have a whole week ahead!

I have GOT to get packing this weekend. I've promised myself none of the usual chaos! :rotfl2:

One time I was so bad, I even packed wet clothes because we didn't have time to throw them in the dryer...

Laura

We were telling the kids last night some of the things we were reading on this thread. They said, "you are spending too much time reading that stuff!" We told them it was no different than them spending HOURS on AIM and Xanga. But they said, "You don't know these people!" Oh contraire, we know y'all now...some of you we know too much about! :rotfl2: :drinking1 Besides, our son met this girl in Selma (about an hour away) via Xanga, and I even had to drive him to her football game so he could meet her. I haven't had to do that again, but they talk on the phone several times a week.

After telling DD and DS some of Andrew's lawyer jokes, DD told us her lawyer joke. I've changed it a bit to reflect the location of the lawyers on our cruise.

Q: Why are all the lawyers in Florida and the toxic waste dumps in New Jersey?

A: New Jersey got first choice.

Thank you, thank you. Luckily we will have Andrew available all next week.

Since I feel like you are all family now, I don't have a problem sponging off of you. :rolleyes1 We are already crashing brunch with KennyK. Does anyone have a reservation for Palo dinner (especially Friday night) or afternoon tea that they would like to add two more people to? :grouphug: We are house broken, and even know which fork to use for dessert. :cake: I'm just concerned that we won't be able to get anything reasonable on the ship.

PM us if you are willing.

Thanks.

Anyway, how ironic is that? What kind of people would go on a Disney Cruise, and not have met up with us here on these boards?

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

I don't know what the actual percentages are NOW, but I think I remember reading last year (before we sailed in May 2004,) that only 1 - 5 % of DCL passengers even know about these boards. I'm sure the number has increased since then. :earsgirl:

Andrew-Great photo!DH and I are more into watching sports then participating in them!Sorry! We had read in the navigator about the legs contest!Congrats on winning!WOW!It is a small world.Hopefully, you won't see them onboard, and then again they may be wild too. :confused3 Go Gators!

Maria

Maria- Wherever did you get the idea that I am wild? OK, I did attend UF, but that was a long time ago, and I am reformed. I am a respected member of my community. I am the past president of my town's Rotary Club. I am a lay leader at my church. It's true. I have my reputation to protect. Now, if we can all agree that what happens on the cruise, stays on the cruise, I might be willing to let my hair down a little just this once.

Thanks for whoever suggested having a traditional Thanksgiving dinner before leaving. We had roast chicken (via Walmart), stuffing, green bean casserole, cranberry sauce, rolls and pumpkin and pecan pie tonight. Now we can have prime rib and lobster and not feel guilty - like we would have anyway. :rotfl2:

Now off to the mall to get DS some more t-shirts.

Paul Goofyhouk

I have the "monster in laws" comming over tomorrow......I thought I sailed on the holidays so I didn't have to do that!

Andrew-Now,we all know whatever happens on the cruise stays on the cruise.Hey once a gator always a gator!

Paul- Tell your daughter good job on the joke! That's a real compliment coming from me.
