Hey Andrew.....we're not going to Cozumel! Better edit that "jpg" file.

Andrew-Great picture on the banana boat!! My college roomie, her son and I are trying the banana boat this year. Chuck refuses to go. Hopefully, I won't chicken out!

There is someone from the 11/5 Magic that posted today regarding Costa Maya. I replied that a bunch of us are booked to go to Tequila Beach and if there is any info to please let us know. 2 weeks from today we will be in Costa Maya!! Sounds better than working!!

Have a great Wednesday!!

O.K., just remembered a story about lifting up the mattresses.....the reason you DO put suitcases under it the first day.....CHECK UNDERNEATH FOR THINGS LEFT BY PREVIOUS SAILORS!!!!!!

On our 03 sailing I think it was monday night. We went with another couple and the guy and I went to watch the end of Monday night football at Diversions.....well we ended up on beat street and who knows when I stumbled back to the room.....do you know how long and narrow those halls are at 3 a.m.? Well anyways yes, I made it, so I wake up the next morning and feel around for my glasses.....can't find them.....so I start feeling around under the bed and low and behold I feel something so I pull it out.....yep, a bra!!!! And it definatly wouldn't fit Kim!!!!!! :rotfl2: Should have seen the look on my face!!!!! :rotfl2:
Yeah, right Lampy! You came back snockered, and a womans bra just happens to be in your hand? And Kim believed that?

Willie

OK... somewhere along the line I missed the anniversary pop quiz... but since mine was yesterday I thought I'd chime in ... 14 years since we were married on Kauai!

I'm trying to keep everyones name staright but I know I will probably get them all confused and be mixing up couples.

Maybe we need name tags and room numbers so we can be returned when lost or befuddled.

I have to stop at Home Depot too - Need magnetic tape and Mickey Paint Chips for the door.

I'm excited - Can't wait - Not getting much done at work this week.

Been looking at the pictures on the DCL picture of the day thread - There are some great shots there.

Does anyone have the navigators from last Thanksgiving? I was trying to plan out an itinerary. You Know - Wine Tasting - Bingo - Beer Tasting - Bingo - Drink of the Dayy - Bingo -

Wow - I think there's a pattern there.

7 days before we leave - Yee Ha - OK Serious packing tonight.

Catch you later

Adding our name to the 20th wedding anniversary list with Zeke11 and the 5J's. Ours was Aug 17.

If we tell DCL we are celebrating an anniversary, do they do anything special?

Too small......now you all know the secret as to how she was to land such a great catch as me.... :rotfl2:

I'd better be careful.....I've already recieved 2 pm's from the "dis board police" today!

Ken and I were 33 yrs married on Nov 4th. That's a long time for todays averages.

Now let's see - Beer at 2 - Wine at 2:30 - Bingo at 3:30 - Will I be able to find the numbers??

Lampy, this is why us adults NEED to WAIT until we get on the boat and that's when we can talk then. You need to hold your horse!! :rotfl:

Laurie- It sounds like your DH spoke to the same DCL rep I spoke to when I called to link my reservation with the rest of the gang. I'd swear that they are now using a call center overseas. The lady I spoke with knew less about DCL than I did. When I asked her if she knew what rotation we would be assigned, she said 8:30, so I said, no not what seating, what rotation. She did not know what I was asking. :rolleyes1

Last year, we brought a ton of luggage. Much more than we needed- we were only on the 4 night. We were able to get all of the suitcases unpacked. There are plenty of places in the cabins to store things. All of the empty suitcases fit under the bed with no problem. I found it easier to lift the bed up and slide the suitcase under. I think that there was a rail that hung down a little, which made it hard to shove the bags under without lifting the bed. I think any standard size suitcase, hard or soft, would fit under the bed without a problem. There is plenty of room under the beds. Bring as much as you want, it is your vacation.

I gotta agree about the call center!!! We did the same as you--waaayyy too much last yr. My suitcase was big enough for my DD to get into & zip!! We've learned by our mistakes & aching backs, believe me! The clothes aren't even the issue...we're doing a 2-tank dive in Cayman (as well as snorkeling the 2 CC days, and possibly Costa Maya as well and just wanted to bring our own snorkle gear. That plus pirate costumes, a formal (that DCL no longer has!! :earseek: ) and just the basics will pack our cases full! But, if we can't fit them, we'll just have to rent them. Just wanted to make sure my Medium size pullman (nestable too) would fit. She was a charmer!!

If any one wants a cruise t-shirt, this is your last chance.

I will need to place the order by noon tomorrow, Nov. 10.

So far, I think only GdHarmon and Cody'smom have expressed an interest.

There need to be at least 12 shirts before I can place the order.

If we don't get to 12 by tomorrow, there will not be a third order.
