NA NA NA NAA NA!!!! We got to 3000!!!! We have the 3000 post!!!!
We were trying to type the 3000 post, but the administrator wouldn't allow us to post within 40 seconds.....Now we got it!! GOOD MORNING, EVERYBODY

A game of "TAG" works like this.....

It will start with us...we will have a ribbon attach to the magnet door sign, when the tag appears on your door, put your name on it then take the door sign and put it on another DIS'ers door. By the last day of the cruise, let's see how many names are listed. We do like to know who was tagged last.
At the end of every evening, this is always the conversation at Diversions.

We are looking forward to meeting OHMOM and GANNY today at the park. It's like a pre-cruise kind of thing.

Julia-You crack me up!I was wanting that 3,000 post!You took it away form me!I am gong to cry<VBG>!I almost called you last night,but I figured it was Satuirday night you all were either gone or busy.We had a sailor Mickey for our Disney magnet in December.The door signs are too cute.Have fun at the park today.Your wardrobe sounds like ours lots of Disney clothing<G>.I can't wait to play the tag fairy game.

Andrew-Our new coach doesn't make the players play till the end like Steven did.DH was frustrated again by them.I am sure you and him will have some conversations about the Gators<G>!Oh yes I know we are coming home to the Seminoles being in town.One of my daycare parents is trying to get an extra ticket for me to go to the game with him.I haven't been to one game yet.DH is always going with him.His wife is a seminole,and he is a gators.Kids Uncle works at stadium.He is in charge of something.DH got to walk on football field after one game.I was like now it is my turn<G>.South Carolina next weekend.I want to beat Steve!You and family should join us all for the beach party.

Lisa-I am glad you got the ressies all taken care of.Yes,it says the same things on our ressies.That is great that transportation is in included.DH was saying they best have a bus to shuttle us all over there.

I think i'm missing something about this t-shirt deal???? Goofyhouk did you contact her b4 the 5Js? or did u just learn about this too?? I'm lost (not surprisingly!) .... doesn't charge a thing for what? again lost? free t-shirts? HELP!

I tried to post this last night, but the server went down at midnight for database maintenance. And just notice whose post was the first on page 200. But congrats to the 3000th post. Are you going to Disney World?

I had contacted her last week, and even submitted a post, but I guess no one read it (or remembered it ). I sent her a PM on Saturday, and she emailed me the design on Monday. You can either download a .jpg design from her website, or you can ask her to modify/customize the design for you. All you get is a jpeg. What you do with it is up to you (print out to make door magnets, print an iron-on t-shirt transfer, make thank you cards, etc). She may even make a new design for you - I don't know if she charges for that. She is just a DISer who is creative, and likes to share her talent.

The Thanksgiving Cruise (otherwise known as the Greatest DIS Cruise ever) thread is now on page 200 - maybe to page 201 by time this is posted. And I started reading it only a couple of weeks ago and it was on something like page 150 then.

Sorry to confuse you. Too much going on for you to get worried over the small things. Are you packed yet?

I love the designs!! Wanted to do a door magnet, now I can have her design it. DS and DD picked out a design for Pirate Night (are tshirts acceptable at dinner for adults and kids, or would the adults feel more comfortable changing into Ts after dinner?) DD almost14, loves tinkerbell, wants me to order 4 designs so she can have a tinkerbell wardrobe for the cruise......

For our countdown, I drew mouse ears in the panes of our french doors with a dry erase marker.... a great visual reminder when we are haiving breakfast, or dinner, or letting the dog out, or going on the deck to enjoy a Saturday night beverage...........

That reminds me- any cigar smokers out there? DH enjoys one every now and then.

Oh yeah, our docs came from the TA in the mail, very anticlimatic, after days of waiting for that magical knock!!!! Pam

Great picture of your family, Laurie. If everyone can send pictures to Doogie's website, which I can't remember what that is....maybe Doogie can post it again...it's easy to know who's who so that when we get onboard we know who you are!!!

Anyway, John is out buying white t-shirts so that we can print our DISNEY Logo's on...he's a nut!!! But I love him anyway.

Good morning everyone!

I was reading about everyone's plans when in port, and wondered if any of you were going to rent a car in Grand Cayman? Or have previously?

I have informed my husband that we are putting our lives in his hands in Grand Cayman, but he needs to practice driving on the left side of the road first. If only the other cars on the road would get out of the way, it would be a lot easier to practice, unfortunately they like driving on the right. Eh, as long as I am along telling DH how to drive, we should be fine (not that I do that normally, no, not me!). It shall surely be an adventure, none the less.

In Grand Cayman, the plan is to drive out to the Turtle Farm first, as my eldest is very much into conservation and is interested in what they do there, although she may not be so happy when she hears they eat turtle meat in the Caymans!

Then we shall just go to Tortuga Rum factory, must taste rum cakes and perhaps buy some rum. Mmmm, rum!

We plan on just stopping as we drive along the coast, back towards Georgetown, and jumping in the ocean whereever we see a parking area. I am not much of an ocean person, you might find me up to my knees (big critters in the ocean with my name on them, I am convinced of that). I figure someone needs to be near shore to warn the others, and that is my job!

In Costa Maya, we are going to the ruins. That is something we won't see in our normal travels!

So, anyone else renting a car in Grand Cayman?

Bruno is actually the dog. Our first....miniature weiner who rules the house, but we do love him. This will be our first trip without him.
We live in Palm City (Stuart), Florida. You know, the place where the eye of Francis and Jeanne passed last year. I think that Wilma was actually worse. I work At Martin Memorial Hospital and we watched many a window literally explode this last storm. Lots of shuffling of patients. We are really looking forward to this vacation!!! I am so sick of hurricanes, no electric and looking at all of the debris. We are all just grateful to have one another and our homes!!!
Off to the soccer field..........nice talking to you all!!!

Thanks for the thoughts Kenny.....we are actually near Chicago....North west Indiana....."snow belt" ner the lake. The tornadoes were about 250 miles south of us but we DID get some nasty storms. Myself and Kim were at a party on the other side of the lake and the power went out around midnight....we came home to Jess Alli and friends with candles all over the house....Almost all the leave on the trees are now on the ground!

Thanks so much for all the time you have put into that list!!! Of course, it is probably not as overwhelming a task for most people as it is to me!!!! As an elementary teacher, I can do all types of "cutesy" stuff on the computer, but technical stuff is not my forte!! DH logs all of our financial stuff on a spread sheet and expects me to add the info when I write a check; seems like a lot of work to me!!!..... maybe that is his way of discouraging me from writing checks!!!
Anyway, I wanted to thank everyone who has made us feel "like a part of the group" on this forum. You guys seem like a great group and we are really looking forward to the cruise!!! We would have liked some of our friends to go with us, but it seems like we will have plenty of people to have fun with!!!! I am already trying to figure out how to get DH to book for next year- we have had a lot of glitches with this cruise (personal glitches, not DCL glitches) Pam

Maryar2......we are flying out if Indy.....our neighbors drove last year and we flew....they said they will NEVER do that again......

Julia...Indy still has cheep fares on Saturday morning.....Air trans flying out at 6:45 Sat. and returning at 12:45 the following Sat....239.00 round trip!!
