Kris--blue hair will grow out! It's when my DD 14 is at the most amazing places or doing the most amazing things--and she has that "I'm a teen, I'm above all this and I'm bored," that makes me really crazy! You'll likely see my daughter with that expression on this cruise (I know, it's my fault, I've spoiled her.) And then you'll see me going ballistic with the "Do you know how lucky you are?" lecture that I've given 100 times!

I know that look!!! I got it it today when DD13, (14 in Dec) had to try on clothes for the cruise. And I calmly said "you know, you don't have to go" Pam

Hello, it has been a very long time since I was on the DIS boards, but my daughter has posted a couple of times to the teen thread (silversapphire) for this Thanksgiving cruise, and has been urging me to join in (personally, I think it is because she is grounded from the computer for a week and just wants to know what is going on, but that's a whole 'nother story! ).

Where is the teen thread for this cruise? DD14 wondered...... Pam

I was DISsing around last week and found a site of a fellow DISer does for T shirts for family and friends. I was so impressed, i emailed her and said i like what you have can i have this, that. She reconized my Cincinnati email and my name and asked if we were neighbors.
We talked on the phone, she lives three miles from me!!!
Look at this, she is pretty good. Just a Disney nut/DVCer like most of us.

Maria- That football game about gave me a heart attack. I'm not so sure about our coach. You are right, they are going to have their hands full next week. Do you realize what you are going to be heading back to when we get off of the ship on Nov. 26?

About Chicken Little, I am not sure if they are going to show the 3-D version on the ship. I almost suspect that they will. This is a movie that you will definitely want to see more than once. Last year, we were on the Wonder, and National Treasure had just come out. I thought I would see it on the ship, but never got a chance to see even a single movie. There are a lot of things that you can do on a cruise that you can't do at home. I can always go to the movies, so that is why we never made it to a movie. Maybe we will have more time on the seven night cruise. Such problems!

We still haven't made plans for Costa Maya. My older daughter is actually interested in the ruins, while the rest of our family would probably rather do the beach party. It looks like we might just wait and see what is available when we get there.

Doug- your thread on the new boarding procedures certainly brought about a lot of discussion. It looks like this will turn out OK for us.

I contacted her to modify one of her designs for our anniversary. Here is what she did. Look for it on our cabin door and some t-shirts.

And she did it in one day, and she doesn't charge anything. Can't beat that.

I have a section in my closet of Golf shirts i collect from places i play at....
then i have one of Disney Clothing!
My Disney clothing is at least a two foot section in my closet

I can take pictures but i can't do anything with them, so i will use Kate
at least she lives up the street from me.
Kate is Just a Disney nut and likes to do this stuff

When your parents want to take a picture with the family, ya do it, and no complaining.

Rule # 11- beg you parents to go on another cruise with the LIME GREEN DIS People!

Good Morning All...
My dear friend (5o'clocksomewhere) has informed me that I have been lurking these boards way too long and has finally forced me to post. I have learned a great deal of information from all of you about our upcoming cruise and look so forward to our magical trip!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
We are a family of four (myself-fortysomething, DH-fortysomething, DS-13 and DS-11). We live in South Florida and visit Disney all of the time, but have only cruised on Disney on other time.
You all seem to be a great group and we all look forward to meeting new friends onboard! This will truly be a Magical Thanksgiving!!!!!!!!!!!

Good morning everyone!! As the parent of a 6 year old, I never get the opportunity to sleep in on the weekend. Somehow, Chuck does get to sleep???

Welcome to the group Bruno's mom! Where in South Florida do you live? We are in Weston--still cleaning up the mess from Wilma!!

We received the confirmation for the Tequila Beach excursion!! Yea!! Thanks for helping me figure out the web site booking process!! On the confirmation--the part that says $3 per person to get to the beach and $2 per person to get back to the boat is crossed off and it's typed in that our round trip transportation will be included. That's nice!! Does it say the same thing on the rest of your confirmations?

Tri Circle D--we weren't able to see the 3D chicken little because the lines were too long--people were lining up approx 2 hours before the movie started. Since I was there w/ a 4 1/2 year old, 2 6 year olds and a 9 year old there was no way i was going to survive in such a line!! I'm glad ya'all enjoyed the movie!! I want to see it again in 3D!!

So has anyone gotten the whole scoop on the spa enhancements??? Anything different besides more treatment rooms??

And am I gathering correctly from Ron's pix that our 2nd trip to CC will be decked out all Christmasy?? How WONDERFUL!! Can't wait to see the changes! What & when do they do the ship?? While we sleep Thanksgiving night or before? Just curious since we'll all be waking up at CC this time TWO WEEKS!!

This surely will be a "Magical" trip.

As far as early, We never sleep in, Our animals always get us up.

Foggy here on L.I. this morning with record warm temps.

Last night it was also very foggy.

I hope Lampskies are ok, It was just reported on the Weather Channel that Evansville, Indiana got hit with servere thunderstorms last night with some fatalities. I'm pretty sure they live near there.

Anyway, Bruno's Mom if you would like a copy of our cruise spreadsheet. PM me with your email address and I'll forward it to you.

We are also trying to use real names instead of user names as we will be with each other for a week.
