YES I DOooo!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :sunny: :sunny: OH I cannot wait. That was fun, sitting around going back and forth for brunch. Lampy, the woman between me and Kim...I remember her..she's a single mom, right? She was very nice.

Say, Lampy...I don't think I saw your respond if about when you will arrive to Port??!! :goodvibes

Goofyhouk- :rotfl2: that's funny...maybe that is why my DS (16) only get's 60% or lower doing his test with his eyes closed. Congrats on completing your exams....I'm glad it's you not me :teeth:

Hey folks! Let's talk food!

I know many of us are looking forward to Bahama Mamas and Konk Koolers, but what's everyone looking forward to at Palo, the dining rooms, topsiders and room service?

In no particular order, I can't wait to have again..the Mickey ice cream bars :mickeybar ..chocolate lava cake..'all hands on deck' cheese platter..oatmeal raisin cookies..vanilla/chocolate swirl at Scoops..mini burritos on the lunch buffet..Mickey waffles (I heard they have CHOCOLATE ones now, too!)..from Palo brunch: lemon meringue pie, sticky buns, cheese and tomato pizza, stollen with berries, whipped cream and jam; from Palo dinner: shrimp penne pasta, tiramisu, chocolate souffle..

Okay, that's what I'll have the first day :rotfl: (just kidding)

Fill me in on what else is good. After three cruises, I still haven't tried it all (I usually get too full, LOL!)

Priscilla

Julia, looks like we'll be leaving BC at 11:30, that means approx. 12:45 on the ship....at least this time I don't have to fight Theresa for the JUMBO shrimp.....

Crab legs and shrimp anyone????????

Lampskies-There she goes. The seas are so calm.I hope we leave on time this time.Hopefully, someone will capture us leaving the port at 5PM when we sail off.I love your Thanksgiving feast.

Hello, it has been a very long time since I was on the DIS boards, but my daughter has posted a couple of times to the teen thread (silversapphire) for this Thanksgiving cruise, and has been urging me to join in (personally, I think it is because she is grounded from the computer for a week and just wants to know what is going on, but that's a whole 'nother story! ;) ).

Anyway, my family is going on the Thanksgiving cruise in 2 weeks with the rest of you! Our family consists of me, the mom, dad, daughter (15 - the grounded one) and daughter (10). This will be our 4th Disney cruise, we have done two 4-day cruises and one previous 7-day (with the SIL :crazy2: - this one will be much more enjoyable!).

I have done some reading of this thread, and wow, you all sound like a fantastic bunch! I only wish I had listened to my daughter earlier and joined in a few months ago, so that we would have some fun people to hang out with, but I shall do my best to ingratiate myself into your bunch over the next 2 weeks! :teeth:

Hmm, just curious, is anyone on here driving from the Chicago area and perhaps staying in Ormond Beach on the way down? We will be leaving Thursday evening and driving straight thru, hoping to make it to the hotel in Ormond Beach before sunset. We had thought of trying for Port Canaveral, but I think that last hour of driving will put us over the edge. I just hope DH and I don't kill each other during the drive down - what on earth was I thinking, agreeing on a straight drive down? :confused3

I suppose we shall be the family at the port with the very large circles under our eyes, yup, that is how you will know it is us!

Julia and John-Thanks for calling and putting my mind at ease regarding booking the Tequila Beach Party!! We will be booking this evening!!

Mason (our 6 year old ds) and I just got home from eating w/ his cousins and seeing Chicken Little. He could not wait until the cruise to see it. It was adorable!! Lots of 70s music!!

I just realized I forgot to tell you our names. Oops!

I am Kathleen, my husband is John, Alicia is the 15 y.o., and Emma is the 10 y.o. However, if you hear some crazy woman yelling for "Emese" (pronounced eh-meh-sheh), that is just me calling to Emma, I am Hungarian and my youngest's given name is Emese, although I tend to use it mostly when I am really trying to get her attention.

I would post a picture, but cameras break when they take pictures of me. :teeth:

And hello Zeke11, sure has been a wonderful Autumn so far up here, hasn't it? Wonder if we will be paying for it in January? Brrrr.

Hi Kathleen --

I love autumn! And yes, we have been having a wonderful one this year. Autumn is my favorite season -

Kris

Greetings Kathleen!

Warm here too today... they said 73 not sure what it really was but it was beautiful. I'm sure you've gathered this info in your readings but my daughter Rachel is 9 (will turn 10 in December).... I'm worried she is going to be mad that I intentionally picked the week that her and her brother will be in the same club since there are so many 10 year old girls going... whoopsie!!

Welcome!

Sherri :wave2:

Wow! I have been busy the past two days, and I just got a chance to read all of the posts on this thread. Are we getting excited?!

Maria- I am posting during halftime of the UF game. The Gators better shift it into gear!

Lisa- I took my girls to see Chicken Little this afternoon. We were going to wait to see it on the cruise, too, but there is a 3-D version being shown in two theaters locally. We all loved it! Will definitely see it again on the cruise. If anyone has a chance to see the 3-D version, make sure to do it. It is easily the best 3-D movie I ever saw. A lot like Philharmagic at the MK. Also, you get to keep the glasses. They look just like the ones Chicken Little wears, and they are lime green!

For all those who ordered t-shirts on the second round, I shipped the shirts this morning. Look for them on Monday or Tuesday. We ended up with a total of 98 shirts for the cruise!

OK, got to go watch the rest of a football game.

Andrew (tri-circle-d)

Ok. We booked the tequila beach package w/ the snack option. I entered the date in the comment section. Then, I received an email from the "it" manager apologizing that the site does not allow the date to be pulled down and asking for confirmation of the date--i emailed the date back to him. He claims that he hopes to fix the "glitch" this evening in case anyone else wants to book.

Lisa

Hi All (and growing :) )

Even though I've already booked my kids into the kid's club... when we board should we still go there for any other set-up stuff? Or can we just wait until they first go?

and by the way... you all seem so nice that I was shocked no one offered to check my kids out of the club... you know like when the club closes and then you could just deliver them around 2:00 when the bars close :rotfl2:

Excitement, excitement, excitement!

Sherri :wave2:

Andrew-WOW!That was surely something.Who would think the Gators would go to overtime with Vandy? They were ahead too.I am so glad we won finally after all that, but the game I want to win badly is next weekend. That will be a hard game, and hopefully a good one.We may just make it to the SEC.We can only hope. That would be great for Urban Meyer and us gators. You are making me want to go see Chicken Little before the cruise.I haven't seen it announced here in town for 3D Chicken Little. That would be neat!

ICEMANPAD-I am sorry you are still dealing with the ressies for Tequilla Beach.I hope they fix their site.I know dh was having a heck of a time, but thanks to Willie helping him we finally got it booked.Hope you are able to get ressies all taken care of tomorrow.

Welcome Kathleen and family!

Maria
