My son Cobi is 8 (almost 9) but I'm sure the boys are all into similar things. It will be lots of fun!!!!! We have late seating for dinner also but I'm thinking the kids might have more fun hanging with their frineds than sitting at dinner forever.

If you are talking about the 11:30 AM tour on Nov 23, then yes it is. You will also be with Scorpio1112 and 5 O'Clock Somewhere!. How many in your party? There were 12 total in our 3 families.

Okay, I have a question. How will they seat all the linked reservation people? One big table, several large tables, or a lot of tables for 8 or 12? Since this is my first DC, I don't know how the tables are set up. I would like to be linked with some DISers, but I don't think I'm up to the "Full Monty."

Since we are a family of 4, how do we make sure we are at a table for 8 or 12 with similar aged kids?

Kris--blue hair will grow out! It's when my DD 14 is at the most amazing places or doing the most amazing things--and she has that "I'm a teen, I'm above all this and I'm bored," that makes me really crazy! You'll likely see my daughter with that expression on this cruise (I know, it's my fault, I've spoiled her.) And then you'll see me going ballistic with the "Do you know how lucky you are?" lecture that I've given 100 times!

Julia--I'm glad you mentioned your hearing loss, 'tho I'll probably forget before I see you. My DH has hearing loss (of a type hearing aids won't help, at least in one ear) but he just won't tell anyone. It makes me crazy! He often says the wrong things in conversations because he has misunderstood--so to all--if he seems "off," just speak louder!

Two weeks from today--I'll be seeing the third Harry Potter movie in Florida--because that's my kids' priority!

Even though I don't know for sure, There is NO WAY they will place all of us linked DIS'ers together at one connected table or tables.

Lets just say that we will all be in one section of the dining room which seat hundreds of people and will probably have multiple dining servers. There are just to many of us linked for one server to handle. So I would think that we will be broken up into tables of 8 to 10. but probably no more than that. We could be set up in a u shape or another shape letter maybe a t who knows, but lets just say what ever the cruise line comes up with i'm sure we will have a blast. Lets just have a party and say we're all Dis'ers and we are here for one thing. To enjoy disney and enjoy cruising.


Anybody interested in booking another cruise while on board. We're thinking of a three day'r in Feb and the 10 day'r in September.

Did you understand about the dis excursion at GC with nativeway. We would love to add you to the excursion I'm sure. You need to connect Doogie for more ressie info. It costs $55/person.

Does any one have a final count of the linked dining groups for our disgroup.

This has to be the biggest DIs group that probably has sailed the DCL cruise ship except on dedicated planned trips.

Lets have fun.

I know there were a few other dis'ers asking about Palos. We have ressies for Monday for Brunch and Dinner for three so we have plenty of room. So if some other couple would like to tag along let me know and we'll add you to our reservation.

Well that's it for now back to doing research for my forth coming trip to Florida.

Maybe I'll stop at B & C for an ice cream fix before the cruise. Last days of food festival still here. Got to get my dis fix with an annual pass.

I know about hearing loss also. I have a frequency applied loss in both ears and it is getting worst. Normal voice spectrum gets lost in background noise so in a crowded area when the background noise is very high, normal voice gets lost in the noise and I hear very little. One ear is worst than the other. I've been told a few yrs ago that there was nothing that could be done because most hearing aids amplify total noise, not just the voice spectrum. I haven't had a check in a while, I guess I should, maybe they have something new to help.????

So now there are three of us.
