Thanks for the info on the Eiss's. Now that my daughter and Grandson live there and we own property there also, it really hits home on what is happening there.

I know Willie can attest to what a Hurricane can do. WE here on Long Island, have had a few in years past but usually only a Cat 1 or 2.

No kidding, we have two rooms, and have received a second set of docs for the room under my wife (and three daughters). That is 8 more luggage tags!! She better not try to bring more than last cruise. No second set on my (and my sons) room. Weird , I thought someone else said they got additional sets of docs on this board.

Doing the doc dance (again). UPS showed up with another set of cruise tickets: same room number and itinerary. Any guesses of why some of us are getting duplicates and others haven't received theirs? Our first set arrived almost 2 weeks ago. I'll bring both with us unless I hear differently.

Here is the plan-If you want to order shirts, post your order on this thread. Tell me how many and what sizes. I would say that I should cut this off at 9 am next Tuesday, Nov. 1st. That will give them time to print the shirts and me time to get them to you.

Andrew, I would love to order!! Are the sizes pretty average or do they run small? I need 1 XL, 1 large, 1 medium, and one child's med (8-10?).

Do any women have an opinion on the fit of the small adult? Sometimes they are roomy. Thanks, Thanks, Thanks!! I would hate to have missed the opportunity to "belong". Pam

Cody'smom - I ordered on the big size for all of us figuring that bigger was better that not fitting... I think the shirts are on the big side.. but I would wait for others to chime in!!

Andrew you are SOOOO right about the News/Weather nitwits!!! It's all about the ratings on the front side...So glad the Eiss family is well!

Our friends are having to pull 12hr. shifts right now to cover the aftermath; Sgt. John, to enforce curfews & stop fights at the few gas stations w/ power, & Sydney at the hospital for obvious reasons! She said the wind that ripped through w/ Wilma was MUCH worse than any of the hurricanes last year! As all the hospital windows were being blown out and they tried to move the patients to any inside space avail., the sound was unforgettable! She also said that you could actually feel the pressure changes as the storm went over!
The only bright side of all of it is the cold front that remained after Wilma left...unlike last year when it was 95 and they had no power! It doesn't feel as bad w/o it now.

Anyway, I talked to DCL today & they said they most likely will not offer any excursions thru them...that was as of this afternoon. So, thanks so much for the websites all!! They did say that our Docs were processed today & will be sent out in the next few days. Not sure of how they do all that, but anyone down here in Dixie should be able to dance by early next week!!

Anybody out there remember the link to that really big list of packing/cruising tips...think it was last noted in August... Had some GREAT ideas on it, but I forgot to make it into a spreadsheet on my PC.
