bfosbenner - thanks for that tip!! Brings to light a whole new thinking process... hadn't thought about flash and viewfinder - I will definitely look into that!

Julia - You only live once!!! My dresses were not from designer shoppes! But rather Spiegel and Penneys :flower: If it looks FAB you MUST have it!!! ;)

Lisa-Happy Birthday to Mason!I hope he has a FANTASTIC weekend. No docs here yet.It makes me wonder if we should of used a differnet address as everyone is getting them except us.What is up with that? You would think that us in FL would get them first.I keep looking for the Feds or UPS guy,and he just drives right by.

DOOGIERUNNER-Raspberry Rum?That sounds good.My bil was teasing us this morning as we still haven't opened up our St Maarten Guavaberry.I haven't figured out what to make with the guavaberry.

the5J's-I need to shop around some too for dresses. You should come here, and we can shop together.I wonder too what order they send the docs out.

Sherri-That is true! You only live once.I love shopping at JcPenney's.I hear Spiegel's is good too.Do you shop online at all?I was tempted to order online something at JcPenney's,but I never did.I was like what if it doesn't fit or if I don't like it.

neverlandclub-Too funny you mentioned the Bahama Mama.I was almost tempted the other day to order one at Applebee's,but I didn't.I love those!
I could live the whole cruise on Bahama Mama and konk koolers.

Congratulations to those doing the doc dance!

It is so nice to see the Magic at port.It will be even nicer in five weeks.

Happy Saturday to all!

Maria

Maria,
Make a guavaberry colada like the shop. It's pineapple juice, cream de caoco (coconut) and ice mixed in with the guavaberry and blend. We liked it so much I ordered my hubby 6 bottles last year for Father's Day. It's a big hit at our summer parties because no one's heard of it. YOu could also use a touch of it in a glass of champagne (personally haven't tried yet). I think on their website they have a bunch of recipes too. If we had a blender onboard we'd probably bring a bottle with us :)

No it isn't the doc dance at all it is the :sunny: :sunny: :sunny:
Sun Dance... I didn't realize how :flower: blue I was getting until I saw the sun this morning! My OH MY What a Beautiful day!... we haven't had one speck of sunshine here for over a week... WOW it is pretty!

Maria - I order EVERYTHING on line! Most places allow you to print off a return label and just drop the package at a UPS Store for a no cost, no hassle (unless the UPS store is miles away) return!

Heading to the school's pumpkin sale and the weather couldn't be finer!

We haven't seen our docs either, but then we booked with All Seasons and they said they hadn't received them either so I don't imagine we will be getting ours anytime soon.

BTW...Catherine's 13th birthday is on November 23rd, the day we are at Cozumel. Who else has children in that age range? Just looking for some potential friends to pal around with.

Hi Buddybear :wave2:

I have two DDs...one is fourteen and my other one has a birthday also on the 25th and she too will be thirteen...so there are other girls in our DIS group have teen girls as well. They can all hang around together!!!

Question for all: Is anyone flying in on 18 or 19th? Do you have a ride from airport to port? Let me know...

Have a great Saturday! :)

BB: We have a 14 yr old son, 11, 7 & 5 yr old daughters.

Julia: we are flying in on the night of the 18th. We rent a van from budget and drive to the port, stay at the Raddison. Return the van in the am after last minute shopping and take the shuttle to port. Tiffany town car takes us bact to MCO on the following Saturday.

Good news about the children. Catherine is signed up for the Oceaneers Lab but because we don't know how comfortable she will be in the Stack. We thought a good back up plan would be to ask about other children her age. That is cool that your DD is also celebrating a birthday onboard. What plans do you have for her?

Your plans sound about the same as ours. We are flying into Orlando arriving around 10:30 AM and have rented a minivan from Budget. We plan to use it for the day shopping (diapers, bottled water, etc) and then dropping it off probably the same day. We are also staying at the Rad and have a 10:30 AM shuttle time.

Got the cutest pirate outfits for the kids today. I love them! Now I have to work on mine. And my formal night outfit, no idea what to wear. Maybe my pink gown that I've had but never worn. So many decisions, I may have to start packing now. :rotfl:

OH BOY!!! I just got off the phone with airline company trying to change my departure, because the first person I spoke to had the WRONG departure date :badpc: :headache: So being on the phone for about an hour(long story) I finally got the departure date on the 18th!!!YIPPEE!! Now I can go ahead and see if I can reserve RADDISON!!! We can meet bhawk and Buddybear and anyone else that's going to be there :cheer2: :cheer2: :Pinkbounc

I'm excited now!!!! oops, wait a minute...I won't get too excited until those DOCS come so then I can do the DOC dance....I'll wait till then. :goodvibes

It's time to start making a list...and checking it twice....

Hi Julia and All,

I'm glad you have ONE thing settled! We will be at the Radisson as well but won't be arriving until early afternoon on the 19th. We are taking a limo from MCO (this is a surprise for my family :ssst: ). It was "supposed" to be our first limo ride (for all of us actually) but when we went to Universal in March they surprised us with a White Stretch at the Hard Rock!!! That was Great... I was totally shocked as were we all -- my DH though kept thinking that we were paying for it and that I had it planned... but no I was in just as much shock... my kids thought it was the coolest thing ever!!! unfortunately since we weren't expecting it we had no camera to take pics!

No docs here in Minnesota.. we booked directly through DCL.

Question for you all... I certainly don't intend to start any controversy, but I am curious what you all will be wearing for dinners. I *think* I have the formal and semi-formal nights figured out, but am not sure about the "regular" nights or a Palo dinner/brunch.

Oh and do you all have lanyards from Disney, skip them, or buy elsewhere? Will the kids need them? I found cute Nemo style ones on eBay.

Thanks!!

Tana!

How could I forget... I'm so glad you said the word... this is something I meant to add to my list of purchases!! Thank you Thank you!

I was looking at the ones from Passporter with the pouch and all, anyone have these - or any other suggestions??

Haven't thought much on what to wear -- of course I have thought about it but don't have a concrete plan!

I do know that I have 4 dresses now.. yeah! my other one came and it is my favorite but it "just" fits... so 30 some days to do something about that! I think one of them has been totally vetoed... and the other is on the block...

My DH is bringing two suits (as long has he goes to the tailor at some point for the one)..

as for the "other nights"... we all have pirate gear for pirates night... so with semi, formal, palo (suit), and pirate we really only have 3 nights to ponder... i'm sure that jeans will play into at least one of them... ok everyone scream at once! and of course dockers for DH... for me... that's an even better question... black slacks will come with... and maybe a work dress (ugh)... but I have skorts that I may wear also (scream scream)...

Decisions, Decisions!

for those of you in the powerball states --- GOOD LUCK --- if I win... your bar bill is on me ;) well at least for a night!

It's gotta be well over $300 Mill by tonight

Sherri

P.S. Palo Brunch --- I have no idea???? HELP!

I'm still working on the 'cruise wardrobe.'

Sherri, I last wore (May 2004) a casual sundress to Palo brunch. I saw women also wearing capris. The brunch is definitely more casual than dinner.

I don't have every night planned yet, as I'm still working on the 'lose before the cruise.' LOL! I know I'm going to gain (I usually do, about 5,) so I'm trying to lose NOW, and as so many others do, I have two or three sizes of different things in my closet now.

Thanks Mickeyhugger! What about the guys?

BTW - Didn't hit the PowerBall --- sorry --- but it looks like no one did... there is always Wednesday!

Sherri

Gang,

I've updated the web site. 3 families added.

Julia, recieved your check for the NativeWay Charter yesterday. Thanks!

Willie and Lamps... got my cheeze whiz laying by our snorkeling equipment. No more stuffing "tater chips" down my speedo!!!!.
