November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

We are flying in on Saturday at 11:03. It never crossed my mind to go the day before until it was too late. They tell me I will arrive at the port around 12:30-1 so I should be fine. We have a long drive to the airport and need to be there at 5:00 so I decided to stay at the Marriott by the hotel on Friday night. So my son and I will have a pre-cruise vacation. That will also keep me from staying up all night throwing more stuff in the suit case. I know I am over packed but I want to dress up every night. I can wear shorts and t-shirts to eat every day but I would look really crazy in McDonalds wearing a glittery dress. I will be easy to spot, most of my cloths have rhinestones! I would really like to go get me one of those pretty Cinderella dresses for the Princess autograph party but I guess that would be a little too much! I am so EXCITED!!

Gina, I am relieved to know that I am not the only one flying in the day of! Sounds like the pre-crusie vacation will be nice. I love the marriott bed! lol!
Now you just have to make sure you won't drive back home in the middle of the night to get some more clothes to pack!!

Well of course, I think I'm a pretty good actress, but I am a bit concerned that she is following in my footsteps. She may be a good actress as well!

I will find out on Saturday. The level of her excitement will be what gives it away. If I see tears, then I will know that she had no idea...unless of course, she is really, really good at acting! Hmmm, I may never know!

Anyone wanna volunteer their kids to take turns questioning her?

O.K. I'm officially in vacation mode......well, forgot to shut off the mail!!! Had to run there this morning.....officially have transfers done. Have to go to Morgans house and give intenerary to the parents....they seem nervous give me "complete" control! How much can you get for a 14 Y/O in Mexico?

Just got off the phone AGAIN with DCL......upper 80's today in FL.? The temp guage in the Expeditionsaid 21 degrees at 9 on my way into work.....with snow flurries.....why do we live here?

Lampskies-DW got her way!!! The Saturn dealer got her into a new 2006 VUE (an SUV). We are signing the papers tomorrow night. I told her that we can't be there too long. We still have a lot of things to do...like pack!!!! They told her that they looked into the history of her vehicle and agreed with her that a trade-in for a new one would be best. She'll be the first one to tell you this...As far as I'm concerned she can have the new vehicle. I don't care for SUV's. Give me a sports car anyday over those gas guzzlers!!

For those of you who are leaving to come to sunny Florida in the next two days, have a safe trip no matter what mode of transportation. To you snowbirds, the weather will be warm, but for us Floridians it will be a little cool.

Charlie make sure you get the "Red tag" price.....that's going to be there new promotion.....all the dealers are moaning because there is going to be no profit let on new cars so they haven't announced it here in the midwest.....just a little FYI.....

dh and I were looking at menus posted on another DCL website and I was commenting that I would like to order two entrees at each meal and try a little of both. I asked him if he would do the same so that I don't look like the only pig. Isn't that what dh's are for?

He laughed, ha ha, and said no.

I say - hey! I think its OK to order two entrees and the server will not look at me and make pig sounds. Is this correct?

Or should I try to act like a lady?

Hey, I thought you work for a Chrysler dealership? I drive an Expedition too. My temp gauge was just at 83. The sky is blue. Big white fluffy clouds. I thank the Good Lord every day that I live here in Florida (except when a hurricane is on its way).

Remember, you will be here the day after tomorrow! It looks like the good weather is going to hang around.

You can sit near me and make pig sounds, and I will sling some entrees over your way!
Just country hospitality!

Really, we would order an extra entree at just about every meal, and put it in the center of the table for all to try. No problem.
