November 19, 2005 Thanksgiving Magic Cruise

We rebooked originally on our May 2003 trip, but changed the ressie to Thanksgiving week in May 2004 so we've waited 2 1/2 years to sail again or 18 months for this date.

We're flying in early Friday morning, heading to Cape Canaveral and then staying at Hampton Inn. Will be at the port bright and early.

Question: We have a 3:30pm flight home on Saturday. Just how crazy is MCO? How early should we arrive? We were thinking of heading to Gaylord Center to see "Ice" or Downtown Disney. Any suggestions?

I last posted last night around 11pm and this morning I check and there are 4 new pages of posts!!!!!!!!

Looking Forward to Beaches and Cream Friday Nigt - I think Ken wants to get the Kitchen Sink, But he will need help. We've done ir before as a family of 4 but it was a lot.

Any day I can put my feet on Disney Soil is a Good Day, even id there's a hurrican (and we've done that).

Is everyone dressing for Pirate NIght. What do they give us. (Bandana?, Patch?)

The Thanksgiving Feast looked Good. I like Surf and Turf.

Mary-I haven't played bingo on either of our DCL cruises.This may be something we may have to talk about when we see you,Kenny and the rest of the family on Friday night at Beaches and Cream.DH grandmother is a big bingo player.Everytime we go to OH we go play with her.

Gfolchick, not to worry about the noise, in fact I may be joining you on the veranda! With DD15 and DD10, and their various moods, I may be living out there! Actually, they are both so excited about this trip, and eager for a small break from their studies, that they may be absolute angels and not fight with each other at all.

Speaking of excited, we booked this cruise 04/04/04, on our last 4-day. It has been almost 3 years since our last 7 day. I am eagerly awaiting being catered to, and waited on, and not having to get up early on Thanksgiving morning to put the turkey in the oven, prep the food, listen to everyone's conversations while I slave in the kitchen, then clean it all up afterwards. Oh yes, I am so very much looking forward to an easy Thanksgiving!

Mmm, I can almost taste my first drink. Shall I have a Bahama Mama or that banana drink, oy, I forgot the name of it! Please, someone help me, is there a drink called a BB7? Frozen banana-y thing? I remember it being really good, but I was bit "happy" from drinking, and for the life of me forgot the name! Anyone know it?

Just hoping my bar bill will not be like the one I just saw. Did you need another drink to lessen the shock?

My DS(7) and I are dressing for Pirate Night. I hope others do so I don't feel so goofy. I feel like we have some "costume" for every day! But I am excited to put them on

As for us, I think we booked ours in the early part of this year. DW would have to be more specific for you. Just talked to DW on the phone, she says it was March 21.

At Beaches and Cream that Friday night, I am just happy to have a malt...chocolate malt. Not a malt beer..Lampskies!!!!

Pam, our bodies will be changing time zones so many times, we won't even CARE what time we start "partaking"!!! Just think of all those vitamins we get from the fruity drinks!!!

We booked 6/04 for ourselves & Shanghi'd Bruno's Mom & Dad with us...so it's been a VERY long 17 months!!!
BUT WE'VE ONLY GOT 10 TO GO!!!!!

Gina, thanks for the clarification on the door signs...I had come up w/ plan 'B' to laminate the ones my kids did so they could instead take them around for autographs. Now we'll do both & I'll frame for their rooms once we get back!

Mary ~ the Pooleparty is DEFINATELY dressing for Pirate night...we already have captains Morgan & Sparrow @ our table, possibly a few others!! We're all about swashbuckling!!!
