Hi everyone! I am incredibly new to this whole disboards thing so I apologize in advance. This is actually my first post and it's from my phone so I will do my best to minimize the errors. My husband and I recently just debarked the Magic from our honeymoon cruise. We got married back in November but had to wait. We booked our anniversary cruise (this one) while we were onboard. I don't know much about all of the magical possibilities on cruises and that is how I found you all! I was looking into the fish extenders and would really love to participate this cruise! Is it too late????

Have you joined the FB group listed in this post. As a beginner I recommend read through the Stickys on the main board. This will help with the post wording and the basics.

Ok I'm going to officially start up a thread for a private Mixology class for our Facebook/DisBoard group. I'll take care of submitting it to DCL through concierge. We are thinking of maybe doing in on a sea day.

Here are the Rules:

each person needs to 21+
Each person will be charged $15 if they show up or not

Glad to hear your still going. I've been checking the disboard to cross reference making sure I haven't left anyone off the FE list that wants to participate in the exchange. I see your going to be celebrating your anniversary but I have no other info. I know from reading your post that your on a single income and I completely understand but do you plan on participating in the FE exchange. If so I would need your info so I can add you to the list like who's going children's age, dining, stateroom #, allergies, favorite character. Hi all! We just booked this cruise, so I just wanted to pop in and say Hi. This will be our 7th DCL cruise, but our first on the Fantasy! We have only ever been on the Magic and Wonder. SOOOOOO excited. It has been several years since our last DCL cruise, and a very turbulent and stressful several years it has been, so we are ready! This trip will be myself, my wife, and our 2 year old granddaughter. WHOOP!

Now that our Cruise is coming a little closer, I'm thinking I'll be checking in more often.....
Do most folks use this DIS thread to communicate or the Facebook page ???

Being it's our very 1st cruise ever; still unsure whether we should do the FE thing, I'm wondering if it would be too much our first time & one more thing to think about and pack.....what do you think?

My preference is the FB group. That is where the FE and Mixology are being organizing. I only check the this thread maybe once a week. Feel free to join the FB group or I could try to help to relay your info.

We are a family of 4 adults and three children this will the adults first Disney cruise and the children's first cruise. We are so excited that our countdown is getting smaller and smaller we can't wait to meet everyone and sail away.

Hello, all! Adding ourselves to the mix. We just booked this cruise over the weekend, very impulsively. It'll be me and DH, both 29, DD5, DS3, and my aunt. This will be our third cruise, all on the Fantasy. We were on the WC last September. Right before the cruise, my aunt injured her foot and was in a wheelchair for the whole trip. That plus her plans to retire next year and the thought that her OBB discount would be expiring in April, she pushed us all in.

Just requested to join the FB group. This will be the first time that we won't have a whiny one in diapers so we're hoping to take part in a little more this time. Are we too late to consider the mixology? I'm not 100% sure yet--depends on other reservations we might make--but I'd love to try it out this time, if possible!

Look forward to seeing some faces around the boat. Getting closer!
