November 12, 2005....7 Night Eastern...Who Else?

I didn't know that we had a bunch of :drinking1 and :yo-yo: with us I hope after a couple of drinks that everyone don't start :dancer: and end up :faint: because the :boat: was going up and down on the :thewave: I just peeled about 20lbs of peaches and I'm on a peach high. :cloud9:

I will only watch Monday night football with you if it involves my Oakland Raiders! My brother and I are crazy Raider fans (he has season tickets) and I grew up going to every home game! :maleficen .....oooooohhhh....that scary icon came in handy this time!..... ;)

I am also addicted to checking these boards at night. It is a good time for vacation planning during the summer TV schedule. We better get everything planned before they start up again. I also love Desperate Housewives and CSI.

Barkley

We are safe I bought a long deep purple dress. We will all have to meet up on formal night and show off our great purchases. Thanks also for the link to the tux site, I will go and check it out.

Chip&Dale&Fun

We read online that the Konk Cooler is served on board and Castway Cay. Somewhere it states that it is the "Official Drink of the Disney Cruise" Perhaps we can meet up and do some research on the ship ;)

Those of us dressing up can meet up and get a group photo to show off when we come home....of course, the best photo oops will be when we are all drinking those margs. we promised each other for the dis-bands.

Yummy ---- we are too far south for peaches....but enjoy them all the same. You cannot get good ones because they are picked too green, for my taste. But on occasion when we travel north,,,,,slurp!!!

Well,,,,,,I'll pass - I think the brotherhood of the disband ring will not survive football challenges. However, AFTER the cruise, if we keep the thread going, we can have some fun for the playoffs....Sound like a plan???

Way too :cool1: for comment.......

must remember to pack the ginger for the :thewave: or when the :boat: :tilt: so I won't attribute it to the :drinking: ''

Nightie night. :wave2:

Although I will never give up on my Raiders,,,,,history has spoken itself in the last several years with incredibly disppointing seasons :guilty:

My brother did have tickets to the San Diego Super Bowl two winters ago and the Raiders totally blew it! Good thing he decided to stay up north in the Bay Area to watch them on a big screen TV having sold the tickets on e-bay previously for $5,000 (2 seats).!!!!! :rotfl:

Okay you ladies....I have now decided to pull out my formal wear and I am committed to really dressing up! I am looking forward to a cocktail or two before a picture! :3dglasses

personaly, we have always found that the only people walking a straight line on a "wavey" cruiseship are those that have had a couple of drinks :drinking1.

we are home after celebrating our daughter's 11th birthday :cheer2: she opted for us to dine at "fresh choice" and see "Willy Wonka" (probably the first movie i have not enjoyed johnny depp in-i'll stick with gene wilder and the original storyline, although my husband was thrilled with the soundtrack, he's a major fan of danny elfman and loves it when he not only scores a movie but does the vocals as well). p.s. we will be celebrating hubby's november birthday on board.

i too have become far too addicted to these boards, but my satelite is hiccuping and not getting several channels so my tivo is not picking up as much as usual. at least i'm getting my fix of the last season of "six feet under" on hbo. but i'm ticked to learn that they have cancelled "carnivale" mid story line :scared1: i will def. have to get a repair person out soon-a couple of hubby's sci-fi shows have started their new seasons and i am hoping "gray's anatomy" and "kojak" will be running their new seasons by cruise time.

sounds as though none of us will lack for lounge company :teeth: we'll have to compare notes each day so the early diners can save us late diners a few seats. the group photo idea sounds great-something nice and respectable to offset those candid shots during "margarita madness".

football? football...oh football! cannot understand the game a bit-got in trouble in high school at several games for participating in a group known as the "rowdy rooters"-off color cheers interspersed with kazoo selections (queen's "bohemian rapsody" and the theme to "rocky" specificly) but other than that i am pretty much oblivious to it. i mean i could'nt understand why one of my former co-workers was so elated that her son was leaving college early because he got drafted by the 49'rs. of course after he purchased his mother, sisters and himself new homes and is making more per year than he would have in 10 in his chosen major...seriously, while i'm not a sports fan i do appreciate all of the volunteer, chairity and fundraising that that the bay area and sacramento pro athletes do-they help to make a real difference to alot of kids around here.

signing off for now-keep those posts coming!

Now that it is August.....a few questions.....what is the exact date that we (first time cruisers staying in the Titanic sink hole rooms) can go online and make excursion ressies? What exactly do I need as far as signing on (just the reservation # from my TA?) Thanks. :flower:

When I get online will I also see the hoards of document forms to fill out online? Are people filling those out and then just ignoring the ones you get in the mail with your official document papers? :confused3

This is all new to us (obviously)...... :confused3 any help would be greatly appreciated. The only real thing I am concerned about is not getting my two excursion reservations we want.....'cause us Titanic sink hole sailors are the last in line :rolleyes1

Dis_Nurse: Today the cruise is officially 100 days out! If you go to the dcl website, you will need your Disney Confirmation number....it probably isn't the same number your TA gave you....at least mine wasn't. Go to the site, enter that in, plus your birthdate....and you will find yourself in there.

Still too early to book excursions.....it's 105 days out(July28) for I think DVC...90 for repeat customers (August 13), and 75 days out for 1st timers (Aug 287)??

The reservation system was just down, I checked...so the dates could be off a little bit....

Hoping to watch the Patriots on Sunday at 1:00 p.m.....I wonder if they'll show it....against the Dolphins!

Also, doesn't matter much, but the DSis will not be going with us, and also we are deck7 forward...just to keep the list accurate....

Lastly....where do we send the $$ for the wristbands? I don't have AIM or anything like that.

Thanks! 100 and counting :earseek:

Hey cruisers!!

I have been pretty busy the last several days & haven't had much time to post!

Since I last talked, the whole gang has actually decided to go to Palo. DH even said that he would buy a suit jacket to wear. Interesting. Now he's even hinting that he might want to do formal night! Who IS this guy? :confused3

Barkley - you should chat with DM on the cruise. She's a realtor in Flagstaff. Nice mountain town with a university :) Lots of people really love the town & my parents grew up there & have stayed all this time. The housing market is crazy, but it seems as if it is the same everywhere.

As far as bands go, I never did hear back from bobsuzla and hookedonmagic about the bands. I pmd both of them as well as someone who had posted on another thread that they would be on our cruise. Right now, we have 13 large, 30 med & 22 small. Since we have to order in groups of 20, we'll need 20 large, 40 med & 40 small. Let me know if you need to adjust your sizes. Should I order this week?

Once I get the bands ordered, I'll pm each of you wil my mailing address & paypal info (I have an account that doesn't charge), so you can choose how you want to pay. Then if you want the bands mailed to you, mail me a self-addressed stamped envelope. I checked to see how much the bads weigh & have come up with the following postage schedule.

Up to 2 bands - $.37
3-5 - $.60
6-9 - $.83
10-13 - $1.06

If we need to reorder, we would have to resubmit the art fee because they use disposable molds. So let's make sure we get a comeplete order together before we send.

Hi! I am at my sister's house now, measuring everyone's wrists. We need 2 childs, 2 mediums and 1 large - THANKS for making the cruise a little extra special!!! Just let me know who to pay!!

I know what we could do with the "extra" bands.....take turns standing in front of the gift shop selling them for $10/each..... :rotfl2: a one of a kind souvenier available no where else! Chip in all the $$$ and off to the lounges we go! :rotfl: :hyper2: :drinking1

DIS NURSE Don't think that thought hasn't crossed my mind.... When was the last time you got a disney souvenier for $3??

Got your changes princesshaleysmom & STB on the beach. Thanks!

I was hoping for some more football fans but oh well. I guess I will just watch on my own :(

Oh no, if we sell then on the Ship, we must charge "carrying charges" - gotta pay for those Margarita's somehow!!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Hey - If we order 140, the cost goes down to $2.25 each +shipping. We could make a mint!!

Maybe even make a very small dent in the next cruise booking! OK OK. That's a little aggressive!

Hey Gang,

I can't believe how close we are getting. It is fun to see that more people are starting to think about dressing up for formal night, we will be the best looking bunch drinking Marg's. Barkley I like the way that you are planning ahead with the seats being saved for us late diners.

We are flying in the night before the cruise and staying at the Radisson is anyone else planning on staying there??

We would certainly like to join you for some of the game. Silly question but where do they have the game playing?? I am guessing in one of the lounges.
