sorry im clueless. what are the green bands ?

Awhile ago, those of us that have been around for awhile ordered DISboard green silicone bracelets to wear on the cruise. We thought it would be an easy way to ID each other without having to wear the same Tshirt everyday

I only have 2 that aren't claimed, but the minimum order from reminderband is 20 and it only took a week to order & receive our order last time. Here's what they look like. They wouldn't let us use the Disney name, so we "fixed" it a bit.

Pirate night on board is on Tues (St. Maarten) night. It starts at dinner with the menus printed on trasure maps & bandanas for all. Then there is a deck party that starts at 9:45 (I beleive) with a showing of Pirates of the Caribbean (recently added with the new screen) to follow. Some people choose to dress up as pirates that night for dinner & the party on deck. All four of us are planning to dress up

Boy, this group contains a bunch of thread posting fools. I was thinking about the wine/chocolate tasting and was thinking maybe our 2nd night at sea could be our first gathering. Also, are a lot of you doing the stem to stern tasting. DH and I did this last year and really enjoyed the experience.

Glad to hear croupy DD is doing a little better. If she had come down with that on the ship and you took her to the medical clinic there (which I am sure you would have-it's scary!).....they surely would have quarentened you to your stateroom for at least a day or two! That would be such a bummer! So glad this will get out of her system before sail time!

Yup, still reeling in excitement over DreamDinners from last night! They are popping up all over the country so keep watching the webpage. Better yet, STB, you can go for an interview and finance the start up franchise $ (maybe with a partner?) and open your own! I know anyone who opened one of these outlets will make mucho dinero!

So clean, so well organized, so fun and so great/convenient!
The mother company sets all the standards and tells you exactly how to do it as the franchizee! This owner's sister in opening one Portland, OR next week.

They even do a couple's night and parent/child specialty sessions.

If enough of you newbies can take a head count, I think ordering more wristband asap would be great! Good ol' Choc Marg can set you up, I am sure. But you'de better act fast!
Also TODAY please PM (that is the magic Private Message option that took me so long to figure out!) princesshaley'smom with your real names and email address. She rocks getting that all together! But you have to act fast!

Is it really two weeks from tomorrow that I scoop the kids out of bed at 0500 and say, "leavin'....on a jet plane".....you know, the song is in my head.

okay...here's the latest from super snooper, DIS NURSE. I was just reading a thread entitled, "Wilma-Castaway Cay"....some sad news. Wilma did damage the island and some nets are down.....not TOO bad though. I guess the biggest bummer is that the sting ray excursion is no more, as all of the sting rays escaped.

poor little things! They loved their food source, I bet!

I am glad we have 2 weeks until we go....the sands and beaches need some time.
Also, to all of you newbies....Barkley and DH have had not one, but two opportunities to dock and enjoy CC....but with their bad luck their ship never docked. Do I have that right? Just wanted to let you know that if for some strange reason we are unable to dock there, all of us need to go find them in their stateroom and MAKE THEM WALK THE PLANK IMMEDIATELY!

disnurse-so glad to hear you had a good experience with dream dinners, i'm looking forward to trying it out (and looking forward to having lots of easy to cook meals during the holidays).

we got our first rain of the season today well, kinda rain (more like a heavy enuf drizzle to make you realize it's time to change the wiper blades).

4campers-so sorry to hear your little one is not feeling well. both of mine had it when they were little, i well remember cringing at the sound of the "seal bark". i think that's why my standing gift choice for every baby shower is a humidifier.

so has everyone gotten their cruise docs?

Keep in mind that the stingrays escaped once before and every single one of them came back to the free food source.

Disnurse...thanks, now I'm singing it too (leaving on a jet plane)! We booked this cruise over a year ago and I can't believe it's almost here (I'm still kicking myself for not looking for a message board sooner!)! I'm headed out at the end of my lunch hour to pick up some postcards to bring!

Dream Dinners sounds so awesome. I just looked at the web site and wish so much that I had the $ to start one here! You are right, I think you'd made a fortune if you had one of these stores! It looks like a lot of fun and to leave with 12 ready to go dinners, what a great concept!

The thread starts with her trip report from DW, then onto DCL, so it is pretty long. I think the DCL stuff starts around page 10 or 12. The rest is still interesting though!

OK - so I went to Home Depot and "stole" all of the "Alien Green" paint samples - Disney paint - lime green Mickey Head!!!!! A friend told me to make the name tags using them. There were only 20 left! So someone else must be doing the same thing - surely no one is interested in painting their room Alien Green!!!! I'll be hitting up the rest of the Home Depots in the area to "steal" more Mickey heads. If I end up in jail, you people better bail me out before cruise time!

iiick! i just put together the "in case we need it" stuff (otc meds, mini first aide and sewing kits...) gawd i hate "schlepping" all this junk along (but i hate paying wdw prices for them more ).

so do you think we can use disney dollars for the bail money ?

Ben's aunt works for doctors and is going to stock up on all kinds of goodies - that way we won't need them. If you have them you won't use them!
I am sure Disney dollars will work in Home Depot paint department jail!
