November 12, 2005....7 Night Eastern...Who Else?

we may have to email them to find out . For us with the little tikes(babies) this may be good. I was told that this tour was one of the best around.

Please anyone chime in about the new Stingray excursion at CC, apparently available for on-line booking as of this am! (Sept 17th) Does anyone know the specifics on this? We are so tempted to try it out! Over age 5 can participate, I know that much. When during the day does it start? :confused3

BTW, I loved Survivor last night! My DD and I watched (she love it too...I know there are a few things revealing... but she can handle it...like last season when Abby heard me refer to "Amy and her fake ****s!" :rotfl2: )
Abby still laughs at me and quotes me, "See ya' , Amy....and take your fake ****s with you!" :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I have to make my selections for the pool I entered and yup, I am voting for the nurse! :cool1: Lots of other runners up plus the jury I have to choose....but the consensus at work today was the nurse would go far! :flower: I am also rooting for the law school babe, Brooke, who is from Hood River, Oregon....not too far from here.

I would be very interested in an alternative to our current St. Thomas plans, as they are with Capt. Nautica and I am becoming doubtful that they will book us separately to avoid the age minimun of our DS, 6. I unfortunately cannot seem to get on to the Sunny Liston site you had on you r thread. Can you tell me more or direct me to their site a different way? I want to know more! :flower:

P.S. The e-NFL player will either fall fast or go to the very end. He is strong and a leader, sorry....just another Survivor thought.

Good Morning - One day closer and I am not one day closer to getting ready. today is a massive cleaning day at the house....we have let things get a wee bit behind. Speaking of getting behind, I have not checked posts for a while, so here goes....

There is a thread on Stingray on on the reposition cruise, there were some who were able to attend. I think that it will be up and running by November and we will have had a chance to hear reports. What I have gleaned (not that this is accurate) is - it appears they will have 30-40 stingrays. As an aside, I am not positive if they will be "stingrays" vs. other rays. Some rays are sooo cute, they are like little puppy dogs and come up for stratching behind the eyes.....The "tour" seems to be about one hour, with part of the tour being a narrative on the habits and ecology of the rays....Then you get to scuba with them.

Not a Survivir watcher so I cannot add to that, but I will go with the Nurse to support DisNurse.

We still hope to die in St. Thomas so I cannot help on alternative excursions....Good Luck...

sorry the link did not work but we are here to help each other. I emailed sunny liston to find out how long is the tour. We will not be in St Thomas that long. Latley I have been dreaming of a disney cruise :goodvibes The dreams have been so nice.In one of them I left everyone at home and went by myself. :teeth: I guess this is the time that most of the plans are getting narrowed down. Does dance fever still come on?

This the email I got from sunny liston tours. I hope that this my help.I'm going to book this one and cancel the car rental.

That sounds good to me! I'll talk to the family and see if they want to do it. I think I would go with the 11 start time. I don't need more than an hour for shopping since I am not due for any new jewels there is nothing I want there!
We were wanting to try Sapphire Beach anyway!

Anyone want a cat.......he came home during the cleaning this morning - salivating - I think he may have caught a toad.....anyone ever try to shove a water spout up a cat's mouth? Those claws hurt......I did not stop to grab gloves as toads can kill a cat......so, one hand is now bloody the other hand had a skin cancer removed yesterday....cleaning now on pause....

ok it was not the cat's fault --- :cat: ('cept mine's black). this was the same one that came home last week with a scatched eye requiring the use of the cruise fund for the vet....gesh!!!!!

Maybe I need chocolate - or a margarita to repair the damage?

Send him to the nurse, she love cats! I read a thread last night about wife swapping and had a night mare about it. When I told my wife about it,she laugh at me. Don't read these thread late at night before going to bed.

i don't know if i want my husband out in the water with you guys-it sounds like you have pretty morose plans :scared1: the kids would like it if dad came back on the trip with us

no more cats for us thanks-we ended up with our first one because of our first ever trip to wdw! long story short, it was hanging around and although i refused to feed it, it kept staying, and getting thinner.....i told dh to buy the biggest bag of cat food and leave it in a bowl before we left (i didnt want to come home to a kitty skeleton). needless to say, upon return the bowl was empty, the cat was fat and we were pet owners :). the newest member of the family played on my sympathies on a very hot night. when we saw him wolfing down the water and the food we felt bad and brought him inside-we now have what i insist will be the last pet until we move someplace with some land!

Our cats were foundlings as well......one I picked up out of the dempster dumpster and the other was abandoned and abused. I actually love both of them.... and would be horrified if anything happened to them, which is why I am now sporting a rather large scratch...Maybe I could turn it into some type of tattoe? :rotfl:

On my stingray quote - it is snorkel and not scuba - sorry about that......

Back to housecleaning.....

Update....I just got through to the owner of Capatin Nuatica and he is graciously going to e-mail DCL and ask them to waive the age rule for my DS! He said he has done this in the past and it is worth a shot. Sometimes they do and sometimes they don't (allow it).

I'll hear back soon via email from CN. Wish me luck! If I do happen to get us all on it'll be because of a miracle and a whole lotta' persistance!

Online booking for Castaway Ray's? I looked and couldn't find it, can someone please point me in the right direction?

Frank

I have only heard that you can on-line book for that Stingray excursion today (9/17) and really no further details. Is it not on their website today?

Also, someone more organized than myself please help us all remember that we can't miss Pub Night (?where?) on the last night...they apparently have a CM skit that is not to be missed! :cool1:

I couldn't find it online, any help would be great.

some off the reviews that I read didn't care for the stingray excursion on castaway cay. They say that they are pinned in not like on the other islands where they roam free. The ones on caymen island was nice, as soon as you got off the boat, they came up so that you could feed them. :goodvibes :earseek:
