November 12 - 17

Hello everyone!

We are looking at a trip for Avengers Half Marathon weekend (Nov 12-15) and then staying until the 18th to get some extra slower days in the park (or so I hoped). The crowd calendar I looked at said it should be slow on Nov 16 & 17th but I am finding the hotels across the street seem to be booked up. Is this normal booking a month out? Can we expect busy crowds?? Just wondering what everyone's opinions are?

I was there at that same time last year (arrived on Saturday of the Avenger's Marathon weekend and left the following Saturday). The weekdays (Mon to Thu) were pretty nice in the parks, but the weekends were markedly more busy. I do think there will be a bump in the crowds this year because the Season of the Force is slated to start on November 16. So some folks that are coming in for the Avenger's Marathon may have decided to extend their stay so they can see the new Star Wars stuff.

I'd bet that there are people grabbing hotels in case Disney announces a merchandise even associated with Seasons of the Force.

I'm one of those staying an extra day because of SotF. I'm staying at BWPPI. I saw that they were booked online. I called and was able to extend my stay for an extra night. So, perhaps call even if it says online that the hotel is booked.

Thanks everyone!! I didn't realize there was an event for SotF...that makes sense! I may consider staying an extra day then and having Tuesday and Wednesday of slower days. Thanks again!!

It's also the start of the holiday season! Seems to me starting from November13th on the parks are gonna be jam packed! With things closing on January 10th I bet a lot of people have made plans to visit before then! You also have the start of the holidays, the 60th celebration (which is already making the parks crazy), Star Wars and marathons! YIKES!
