Yes, today is my first day off work, and we leave in 9 hours. I've been a little Time to pack!

As of last night there were still 42 cabins available. Now I have to decide if we should try to upgrade at the port? Or, can I convince DH to rebook for next year?

I guess the first thing I have to do is pack. Only a few hours, and I can get my boarding passes on Southwest.

Hello cruisers!!!
I went for root canal this morning no fun at all especially since Angelina's nose was runny this AM so I had to bring her. Thank God for Vito jr. The Dentist was great and had her assistant help with Angie . They actually let her come in with me but it was scary for her so the kept trying to keep her entertained. Hopefully the pain will subside and I wont have to go back in the AM. I am supose to go to DTD hopefully I will feel up to it. I totaly forgot to get a pedicure. Maybe later.
For everyone who is on the way have a safe journey.
To everyone who is still at home if just think in 2 day we will all be on the Magic.
The weather should be perfect 83 and slight cloud cover Perfect for a great sail away party. Can't wait to with you all!!!!

Help me I am trapped in my office and my boss keeps asking me more questions about different projects. But in about 45 minutes I will be free!!!

Making the last Wal mart stop on the way home. Going to pack up the van and we will be, hopefully, on the road by 6:00 pm. Of course with 4 kids we will be off the road again at about 6:27 for a bathroom break and then again at 7:49, 8:36, 9:52 and at our hotel in Chattanooga around 11:00 pm. Won't bore you with the road details for tomorrow. With good weather, timely bladders, and a tail wind we should be at Ron Jon between 7:00 - 9:00 pm.

Well, I'm signing off until we reach FL. DH says that he can't pack his carry-on until he can put my laptop in it... not sure if he is telling the whole truth, or if he just wants to make sure I stop posting and finish packing. We'll be on the way to the airport in 4 hours.

AAARRRRRGGG. Can't find the big ole memory card for my Canon Power Shot A520. Can't find the box and paperwork. Went to Walmart, their book only showed what to get for the A530 and A540!!!!!!!! SO....I just posted on the DIS Photography board....lets see if they're as good as the WDW/Cruise planning DISers and I'll get a speedy answer. Then, it's BACK to Walmart!


Time to wash up and head out for a pedicure, then I really MUST pack!

Looks like you need an SD card. Best Buy had 1GB for $20 after rebate last time I was there....

So, is 1GB a lot of memory? I want A LOT, cause I don't want to have to hit Shutters every day for downloading.

We just got a new Nikon SLR 6.0 megapixel and a 1GB card gives us 559 pictures. I believe if you have a lower megapixel camera you would get more than the 559. Best Buy also had packs with (3) 1 GB cards for $60 after rebate. Works out to the same price per card, but the rebate was limited to one per household on the single card. So if you see the mad woman taking pictures like there's no tomorrow, that's probably me! Might wanna give your local Best Buy a call and see if the rebate's still good.

I am using the scraps of magnets from my xyron machine. I have large sheets, but am trying to be frugral.

Would you mind if I printed on the pillow cases? Not sure if my plan will work, but I am willing to give it a try. Let me know

Well with all the server issues, I STILL got all my newsletter emailed to those who don't want hard copies and the printer had the final proof and will be printing and binding and sending to mail house Mon/Tues. Mail house has their check and are ready and waiting! So hopefully while I'm laying on the beach - or hanging with Captain Jack - my newsletter will be mailed out all over the country in time for Thanksgiving "thank-you's"! I'm so happy about that.

It's now 4:30 and my boss just left - and asked why I was still here??? SO, I'm going to call Jackie and see if I can meet her for a dual pedi!

Then I'm going home to pack! Gotta find something big enough for the fins!

Oh, Pat - if I knew you were a Grey Goose gal I would have brought some "TITO's"... a vodka made in Austin Texas... long story but the bartending in the Marriott gave me a side by side shot of Tito's, Grey Goose and Kettle One... you know what? TITO's was BY Far smoother. My liquor store right down the street carries it too! Wonder if I could ship you a bottle to try when we get back?

Would you like that? It's really wonderful and less expensive (although when it comes to marini's - I don't care how much the good stuff costs!)

Hello

Just put in the last of the 10 suitcases into the mini van. We are at max capacity. As my DS13 and I were loading the bags he not so smartly asked my lovely DW how come the boys each only got one bag and the girls each got 2 or 3. She politely and calmly told him it was because the ladies needed more shoes as she administered an occuppied shoe to his posterior end. Teenagers just never learn.

Have announced the 10 minute warning so everyone is taking care of the last bit of business and heading to their assigned seats. We will be road bound in less than 10 minutes.

Final sign off, the Barczak bus is heading south.

Safe journey all and see everyone at 3:00 pm in the promenade lounge.

Yes, I still have to do that, and the CLOTHING part won't take to long...it's the STUFF. PLUS just cleaning out my purse and backpack will take just as long as stuffing clothing into the suitcase.

........you gonna share any of that Grey Goose? ......my cabin isn't that far away........
