What next. I still have the sneezing and runny/stuff nose and now a sore throat. That bad news is my DS just came back from the doctors and has strep Please lets hope that his wife and new baby do not get sick, let alone the rest of us.

I was sick on the last cruise and I want to be healthy and happy on this one. Is that to much to ask!

I hope you get checked too, so you can get started on an antibotic and be better soon.

If it's just a cold, try Zicam. It cures a cold in 2 days if you take it immediately upon seeing the symptoms, If you wait a few days, it'll still kick it out in about 3-4 days. Get the nasal swabs, the spray is gross.

I'm soooo excited! We leave for the airport at 7am tomorrow! This is officially my last post before I get to meet all of you (although I may sneak on later for a little "DIS FIX" after DH is fast asleep)

I'm havin' a glass of vino (I need it after bathing suit shopping today. Good lord, did somebody turn up gravity when I wasn't looking? I pushed up and sucked in everything I could and figured out that if I lean to the left, slightly turned, with my gut sucked in and my chest out, with arms back, shoulders up a bit, with legs slightly turned to one side, with hands covering my tummy, butt out a bit, head tilted, and remain perfectly still while looking relaxed, I may be able to permit a beach photo, or I could just stand on my head or I could just wear the great coverup I found

Anyway all, I can't wait to meet all of you! Have a great few days and we'll see you onboard

I called her earlier and Pops answered the phone, he said that Mom was neck high in packing and was currently sitting on her suitcase...I didn't ask for any more details.

He sounded awful chipper so I asked if he was happy she was leaving for 2 weeks and he replied with a very loud **** YES!

I told mom he sounded too happy and she said that she asked the neighbors to make sure that nothing went out of the house that wasn't suppossed to (the neighbor DH is his partner in crime)

On another note: Mom is packing her Grumpy p.j.'s and plans on wearing them to get coffee on deck 9 at around 6am. Just a word of warning people.

They will go well with my Winnie the Pooh pj's and coffee at 6 am sounds great to me. Probably will meet her there.

David...you are cracking me up!!! I cannot wait to meet and hang out with your crew. Did you do the chocolate breathalizer test? My DS8 is a math wiz as well and you know those brainy types so I can fully relate to the underware dilemma.

The squirting has ceased for now and the child has proclaimed himself cured.

Dee....hope you start to feel better....alka seltzer plus cold med always seems to kill whatever headcold bug is going around. Hope your DS keeps his germs to himself and his DW and baby are spared.

It is absolutely pouring here right now. We need the rain badly but I just hate driving in it. I-4 was a mess with traffic stopped in both directions. I had to make a run to the bookstore to get something to read for those quiet times I am looking forward to on my verandah. Hopefully the weather will clear in time for Mom's flight tomorrow afternoon and for everyone else that is headed down.

I've been brushing up on my Spanish and DS15 keeps laughing at me. Evidently I keep saying "What is bathroom" instead of "where" so I have come to the conclusion that I will simply say "banyo" and hope they point me in the right direction. I'm pretty sure "tequilla" and "margarita" are the same so that should be easy.

LAST 12 HOURS and It is check the suitcases again and then we are offffffff.
The Pig tails are trying to come out again, What do I do ? I guess I will
be going to Disney soon. Is DB and DN getting excited? I need to talk to the neighbor about the critters and the mail. He left a note with their email address on it. I will be taking a list of addresses with me. I do not feel like the everyready bunny on speed anymore, shuck the medicine wore off. I did get sleep today. I will be bringing by the highchair for the Angel in the morning. At least I can see her on MY day to have her.

First and Foremost --- Happy Birthday Jackie.

Jackie, what Dis Celebration Lunch are you talking about. If it is the one on Thursday count us in.

DS7 was home with the squirts yesterday. I also had a small case of it on Sunday & Monday. Not sure if it is a virus or just nervous stomach from the anxiety and exitement of the cruise. Anyways, he is fine now. I used my Grandmothers remedy for myself and knocked it right out. 2 shots of whiskey. She swore it would kill any stomach virus, bacteria, bug or anything else. Now DS13 has a scratchy throat. Not taking any chances. DW Alison is hauling him to the MD tomorrow morning. She won't let me give him 2 shot of whiskey although he was willing.

a suit case zipper broke (nothing duct tape can't handle - gotta go get it out of another suit case. Gotta remember that for next trip. Always pack the duct tape last.

goodie bags stuff is organized but someone ate a couple of the goodies. Got 5 "not me's" from the supporting cast. I know I counted right. I know I snore and talk in my sleep but I have never eaten in my sleep. Oh well, another trip to the store

a strap on my favorite pair of sandals busted while trying them on. Sheesh, going to have to go get another pair or I'll be stuck with my tigger slippers.

ever try convincing an 8 year old who is a math whiz that 4 pairs of under wear is not enough for an 8 day trip. He went through several mathematical equations trying to convince me. Not to worry, he lost.

We will be leaving in about 52 hours and on the boat in less than 100 hours. Doing the less than 100 hour dance.

Well David, thank you for the remedy. I was trying to use it here at work and I was threatend with the pink slip. I explained it was purely medicinal, but they do not seen to be buying it. I guess I will stick with the dayquil till I get home.

It is raining here and I have to get ready for work I am trying to get my self pschyed for work it is not working,. Hopefully I will be near a computer that lets me chat with you all tonight. Last nights computer did not let me check my email > DN mommadukesson said it probably had a trust issues.
I can understand that with the place where I work. Computers are so odd.

the printer seems to work fine. it is really slow, but it works. I am all packed except for blak sox. I must have 15 pair of brown ones and no black, and of coource shorts that is a never ending storie. I might just buy some on ship. man I am ready to leave.

Devin - glad your new printer is working. Thanks for reminding me to do my door signs! I am all done now and even made name tags for ibouncetoo and myself today! Glad that's done.

Last time someone mentioned Zicam I forgot to post the "warning" I had read in an email - it might be urban legend - but according to this person they now have NO ability to taste or smell - it deaden her nerves on some level and according to the "warnings" on the package - those are true reactions... just thought I'd pass along the info...
