Is there usually a wait for a computer? I don't want to be on the computer much, but I don't want to wait around for one either. Just wondering if it is worth lugging the lap top with us?

Hello everyone! My name is Melanie and we (DH Dave, DS8 and DS5) will be joining you guys in just 16 short days! We are so excited! This is our second DCL trip, our first was a Western in February but we LOVED CC so much we had to get in on a DD before they stopped doing them! Plus it's our 10th anniversary present to each other.

The very best UPS man in the whole wide world just delivered our documents moments ago and now it's even all that much more real! We just decided to take the cruise 2 weeks ago so I've been running around like a mad woman getting everything dry cleaned, updated and ready to go!

In fact out the door again in minutes to find myself and youngest son shoes for formal night! I will try and catch up on some of your prior posts over the coming days to get to "know" you all a bit better! But wow, you guys have been busy on here!

YES. I think 5000 will be passed well before we cruise. It seems like you are posting on this thread 7-10 times a day, and since we still have 14 days or so, you should be able to do it.

How did you get a Navigator??? Do you know someone who was on the October Double Dip? If so, why haven't you pestered them to do a TR?

Oh Boy! What is different from the one that is posted??? I've become a planning lunatic since I found this place...pirate costumes, gift baskets, formal wear rentals, new "cars" suitcase for DS, etc. etc. etc.

I've even been rethinking our pre-cruise plans that I've had booked for months! I'm thinking of doing WDW for 3 days prior to the cruise but I don't know if it will be too much for the kiddos. Right now we're booked into the Marriott Residence Inn in Orlando. It has full kitchen and laundry facilities. It is great with a fantastic pool, playground, food and free shuttle to WDW. All for $169 a night.

Maybe Happy Limo service instead of car rental...

The more I plan the more confused I get.

Any thought for all the Dis Vets and those that have travelled with small kiddos? I'm worried I'll wear them out before we get onboard if we include WDW this trip.

Any advise???

I would not bring a laptop just to check email. I rarely wait for a computer, and if there is a wait I'll return later.

I can tell you that when we did our first crusie we did a land and see. The family felt it was to exhausting and that they would rather do land or sea. The children were wiped out. Maybe if you did a day at the parks it would reve up the vacation. Just a thought.

Hi Ya'll! Greetings from Orlando! I just spent the last hour catching up on the thread (dial-up). I have a few minutes till I have to get ready for Mickey's halloween party. .

It was so lovely meeting Michele and her family. We had a wonderful visit! I hope Angelina's MRI went well, and she won't be too upset with you this weekend. Please give Vito Jr. and Angelina a big hug for us.

Sarah loved her princess make-over. She was our official greeter at the airport when we picked up my sister, niece and PoohJen. Nothing like being greeted by little Cinderella waving with the big Mickey hands. Too cute.

Mom2of2, it wasn't us, but would have loved to meet you. We didn't get to DTD till 1:30.

Has anyone received their cruise documents yet??? Does anyone know if there is a FedEx drop-off location close to the terminal, I can look on the FedEx site but I do not remember the area that well.
