SPOTDUDE I am so glad you are an organized planner, so I am curious where in Mass are you from and did I read that you are driving down? If so how far ahead do you leave and are you driving straight through or staying somewhere along the way. If you are stopping do you make reservations or will you wing it? Just checking how organized you really are! :wave2:

Leicester Smack dab in the center of town. Although we will be leavening from my en-laws house 2 miles away.
I have driven down four times my best is 18 hours. I drive straight through. I’m getting out of work early (I work at night) so I can get some sleep. We were going to fly BUT thank goodness we did not buy tickets since the Worcester Air line is pulling out in Sept. My Mother en-law just bought a new car so she want to visit some friend and/or family while there (the reason we are driving)
We will be leaving on Thursday about 2 pm that should put us in NYC at about 10 or 11 (stopping for dinner) and DC about 4 or 5. After that it is easy.
My worst time was 27 hours and that was last time. I left work and started driving I barely made it on the NJ turn pick and HAD to pull over.
Fast lane is the key (EZ Pass for you darn Yankee fans :p ) The NJ turn Pike has lanes that are 55 mph I love that no need to even slow down at the tolls.

I really don't mind driving I do most of it with the Girls asleep, and while awake we play weather games MOO at the cows, and do some last minute planning.

Ok and how much of a planning super freak am I?
Two years I a GPS that goes to my note book. I have soft ware from MS and Delrome. The Delrome soft ware dose turn by turn spoken directions and the MS one have every McD's Wal-Mart Shonney's, mom and pop gas station absolutely everything. Last year I planned it down to where we were going to stop and eat Breakfast, lunch, dinner, get gas. I looked on the net and found the cheap gas all the way down figuring for distance from 95 and how easy it was to get back on. We were planning on stopping at The Lady and Sons (Paula Deans from the food network) and I had reservation for 8:00pm it's in Savanna, GA 800 miles away.

.
Oh yea I am ready!!!!!!!!!!!!
:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Disney will also introduce new in-cabin bath and shower products developed by H20 Plus, a line of water-based products derived from marine botanicals.

We got to be guinea pigs and test them last December....they are made in Chicago.

At this moment in only 10 weeks I will be about 30 minutes from landing in Orlando....how fast time has flown.

We snatched the opportunity of Jeff's actually being home to make a run tonight and get some more wedding stuff handled. I sent my rings in to be checked, sized and cleaned (they sized the band a little small the first time) and we bought Jeff's band. I also took him over and bought him a new suit that included two pairs of pants plus two new dress shirts, tie, suspenders, cufflinks, dress socks and shoes. We even got him all fitted for alterations. When the guy said the total I think he looked just as pale as he did they night we walked out with my engagement ring and band.....how it that possible??? My ring cost 4 times as much! In any case...he'll be stylin'!

Hope everyone is doing good!

I know I ordered pins. I know I gave my stateroom numbers for the Navigator. Did I order bracelets yet???? If not....please send me a pm and tell me to get my act together....Anything else????

since i have done the DIS TAG thing before, i am willing ti help organize it all!!! we had the best time last year and it was always fun to find new toys hanging on my door each day!!!! it was a blast....just let me know if you want me to work with someone and organize all this!!! :thumbsup2

Yeah! Sounds like fun. Why don't you post a bit about how the one you did worked and what's involved. Then maybe there's a volunteer out there to coordinate it with you. ::yes::

Have you guys seen this?

http://disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1212415

There's a link to a DISers web site with a huge accumulation of tips from the DIS, PassPorter and the like. Has lots of links to sites for goods (prescription snorkel masks), services (the Perfect Gift) and stuff like that too.

I'm going to take a closer look at it over the weekend.....have to go to bed now.

Nighty-nite!

I don't know if anyone responded to this yet bu I don't think DCL will allow this.
Last year DW and I took my mother and 2 of her friends on a Wonder cruise. We had 3 cabins all together. DW and I in one and my mother and one of her friend in another. The third cabin occupied by my mother's other friend by herself. Our niece wanted to go so we book her in our cabin since it would only cost my brother $500. My mother's friend, that was in the cabin by herself said that she could sleep in her cabin. We checked through DCL if this would be alright and they said no because of the room assignment. Well our niece ended up sleeping in our cabin.
I guess it is no longer a an issue, her mother wont let her go but thanks.

Good Morning all. :offtopic: We just got the internet and cable back. Did I mention that ERNESTO has arrived in full style. He took out the electricity this morning around 130 and did not return it till almost 6am. Now the streets are flooded and I cannot get out to go to work...ugh. They say the worst is yet to come...please how much worse can this get? I am hoping to make it into work soon or at least my noon.

Linda how are you fairing? I imagine you are flooded as well. Take care of yourself.

Here Dee, you probably need this: :boat:

And here's one for Linda too, just in case: :boat:

Hope Ernesto moves on quickly.

Speaking of moving on....I was supposed to be in the shower 18 minutes ago. YIKES!
