Need I say more?

Just wanted to remind people to pick up some sunscreen for their trip.

If your kids are like mine, you go through a lot of sunscreen.

The last time I was in our local "major name, discount store", their supply of sunscreen was getting pretty low. I live in the north east, and when the summer supply of sunscreen is gone, you have to buy it at a non discount store. If you look for sunscreen in the fall or winter, your selection is limited, and the prices are higher.

Just add sunscreen to your list of school supplies, and you will be all set, come November.

Thank you all for the warm welcome.

What types of activities do y'all have scheduled?

Also, appreciate the graduation tips and insight. I'm sure the children will be excited about it. They love being on stage.

Wish I could join on Tuesday nights. Busy evening for me.

Oh, do you think that watershoes for the children are a good idea? Can't seem to find any at the moment here in West Virginia. I guess folks have gathered them up for them ther creeks. :rotfl:

Any ideas on what we should take with us on ports? Experiences?

Your insight is appreciated.
We are renewing our vows and as soon as I get my ms out look working as I want it to I am going to post our plans on our wedding website.
My DW can not have any alcohol so she is doing the cooking and cake dec. things and of cource BINGO.

I love mickey with his crocs on :cool1: But I think the poor mouse has them on the wrong feet.

Quick thinking Michelle. I knew something didn't seem quite right! I hope this isn't what crocs has in mind for Disney line of crocs (same stuff, just wear them on the wrong feet). :rotfl:

Thanks for the sunscreen reminder RayRing. DH thought I was losing my mind when I stocked up on the spray sunscreen at costco. I knew it would be hard to find it in November. :thumbsup2

Hi all- I just saw something on the general cruise thread forums. The snorkeling masks DCL has on CC are made with latex (sorry if this is common knowledge to most people). DH has a terrible latex allergy, and so it was good to know this before we cruise. Anyone know of a good place to purchase non-latex snorkeling equipment?

Just think 12 week from now we will be sailing our way to Castaway Cay!!!!!!! :cool1: :sunny:  :cool1: :sunny:
Thanks for the reminder Jackie!!!
Wendy
I have never seen latex free snorkle gear but I was also reading that thread..
Rayring
Good reminder. Here in Fla we can usually find sunblock but it is really great esp for our friends from the North.
Happy planning!!

are we ready for fun yet??!!

all the kids stated school last thursday so i now have more free time for the DIS!!!

seriously, i have more time so if anyone needs me to help with organizing anything let me know....i am hoping to start scrapbooking all the stuff from uor last 3 disney trips....said i know but it is hard to get everything out with kids home that sneak off with paper and scissors and stickers!!!

now if only i could lose about 50 pounds before the cruise.... :wizard:

Is our cruise sold out? My DW was going to ask her friend. We went to her wedding last night, nice out door wedding in the rain ;) on a sloping lawn with a few soft spots. We got there early and made my sister en-law sit on the slope soft side :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:
We were taking bets as to how long it was before she rolled down the hill taking the table and the tent with her
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2
Her and my other Brother en-law were seeing how was going to take the other one out, and he was haning on to the tent.

::yes:: Me too! But we've got 12 weeks and could make enough of a change in that time to feel a bit better and healthier. I really need to focus on exercise in this time left...don't want to run out of energy on my ruins tour or playing with the dolphins. ::yes::

I figure after final payment date (8/28), we'll start the 'what should our wrist bands say' vote and get those ordered and sent out to everone.

Yes, Dee, 12 weeks from today I'll be parasailing for the first time! Waiting a bit anxiously for that experience. :goodvibes

Devin, no our cruise isn't sold out....at least it wasn't a week or so ago...most catagories looked to still have some availabilities. (I check every once and awhile to see how much my catagory has gone up.)

Look who's waiting for us on CC....he says "Welcome to the Caribbean luv, and don't forget the RUM!"

Hey....who's dressing up for pirate night?

We are dressing up for pirate night. My nephew is as well. We were actually just looking at costumes for the night.

Jackie
Or entire group of 11 will be dressing up. We are really looking foward to it. Anyone else? Also can not wait to take a photo with Captain Jack. Our one at WDW is sooooo cute but we have never had photo ops. Just take them while he is doing he pirate training.

Me, DH, DDs 2 & 5 will also be dressing up--nothing fancy or expensive but certainly to be in the spirt of things! I'm actually having fun, as a 41 year old, looking at trendy skull & crossbones clothing!

Off topic, on the main DCL thread an OP is getting lots of grief for something that I'm anxious about now, too. DD2 turns 3 a couple of days into the trip and I'm hoping to put her in the clubs with sister as that is really too old for everything in Flounders. I specifically asked this of TA when booking last year and she didn't think there would be a problem at all, but now I'm uncertain...especially since online she's listed as "Flounders" and what if Oceaneers is at capacity? She's completely PTed so that is NO issue and we don't plan on using it nonstop, but DH and I would like to do our ressies at Palo that I got up in the middle of the night for and didn't get to do last year because she wouldn't stay in Flounders because there wasn't anything in there for her but TV (which we don't do much of here) and little baby toys. Sigh. Why is there always something to worry about??!!

I saw your post and went on line at DCL to see if I could 'fake' book on our cruise with some 3-5s, but the stupid site is down. Was hoping I could tell you there were at least some openings in that age group at twelve weeks out. It might be a way to find out as our dates get closer and I suppose if you called DCL they could tell how close they are to capacity for that age group as of right now.

Good luck!
