Welcome Nani!

I saw your post over on Kelly's trip report, what a wonderful story! There will be plenty of Magic in store of us....well, um, TWICE the Magic actually!

Thanks Dee -for the welcome home!

Welcome aboard all those newbies who have posted since I've been on vacation! Before I forget, another web site for pirate gear, etc - that we used for the company "Annual Celebration" - my boss went wild and spent too much money on stuff- but it was a big hit.

http://www.deadmentellnotales.com/thecrew.shtml

I am not quite yet re-acclimated to our weather; nor having to get up and go to work. But everyone here was so glad to see me, it made me so happy! Thank you GOD - for my job!

Oh my, only 12 weeks? Did I read that right? Holy crap, my weight loss plan doesn't seem to be working - ut oh. Time to get serious I guess.

You guys are so wonderful, newbies offering to take kindness and increase their palo reservations... if this doesn't show you how great folks can be - I don't know what will. And it certainly balances that other "thing" out there ...

I have a new suggestion: silicone bracelets - "Double Lame Dippers and PROUD of it. 11/11/2006" What do y'all think? OK KIDDING!!!!! I never claimed to be able to keep my mouth shut!

Moving on:

I won't bore you (well I'll try not to) we had a great time in Wyoming and the weather was perfect. When it did rain, it did it at night or very early in the a.m. I got all my critters crossed off my "life list". 6 Point Bull Elk, Bull Moose, Moose Mommy with baby, two herd of Female Elk (different days and times) -Mule Deer, 3 Bald Eagle on our Float/fishing trip and yep A BLACK BEAR.

Didn't get to see a grizzly this trip - but I don't think my heart was ready for that anyway. DH caught his first fish - (47 never too late) and he really enjoyed the fishing/float down Snake River. We hired a guide two days and it was worth every penny! Please pm me if you are ever going up and I will provide you with his name and website - totally delightful man.

The food was excellent, we loved Teton & Yellowstone Park and the people were wonderful. I was worried about the airport situation when we left, and we walked right through. All and all - couldn't be better. Can't wait to chat with y'all tomorrow!

We had a "craft night" tonight and I just wanted to tell all you crafty ladies out there about these flip flops I made. Several months ago I found these black flip flops at wally world with white polka dots on the bottom. Thought they looked "Mickey-ish" so I bought them. A buck ninety-four. Been sitting here staring at me every since. Then I got an idea. Went back to Wal-Mart and bought a little piece of red crafting foam. Thirty-three cents. Went home and cut out Mickey ears from the Home Depot chip for a pattern. Hot glued them on the thong parts and Voila! Mickey flip flops! The foam is waterproof and should be fairly durable and I figure I can wear them around the pool and with my black Mickey polo dress with the red trim. And all for $2.26!!

Hi we will be sailing on November 11th with you !! Me, DH & DGS 6 I am so glad that everyone is returning from all the great events and trips of summer and are back to planning for the cruise. It is our second trip and I am WAY to excited already, in fact I am driving every one here crazy with all my planning and ideas. So I had to stop by and say THANK YOU for being here and giving me some one else to talk to that is as crazy as I am!!! All day (as it was pouring rain ) I just kept thinking Sunday at Castaway Cay ! I have enjoyed reading this board for a while and can't wait to get on the MAGIC !! I loved Mickey Mouse in those crocs!
Welcome

miatamel, those flip flops sound too cute! Can't wait to see them poolside (can't wait to BE poolside).

spotdude (aka MacGyver ;) ) I love that web-site....found it almost two years ago when I discovered it was National Talk Like A Pirate Day....which I think is Sept 17th....guess if we go look at the site we'll know. I think we should all check it out so we can ARRRG and avast and savvy ourselves silly on pirate night. ::yes::

Spotdude- I loved the You Tube video on that site where the 2 pirates talk about the 5 As of how to talk like a pirate. Too funny!

I agree Peg!! We are getting so excited here in our home talling about the cruise soooo much,
What time do you all plan on getting to the port?

We're here! School started yesterday so things are kind of crazy until a set schedule gets into place.

Not only am I trying to wrap my head around work, kid back in school, life in general and the cruise but I went and booked next years Disney trip too! We are going the same time next year and staying at Fort Wilderness again. I am so excited!

Ok, time to make lunch and get the kid up! Have a great day.

sounds like a busy time! We stay at FW a few times a year. Do you stay in the cabins or do you have a camper? It is such a relaxing vaction staying at the Fort. They have so many fun things to do and it is so peaceful.

 We're here too, but just for a minute. The grands  are here this week, so we've been very busy. Water Country, USA yesterday and Busch Gardens today. I am so tired :teeth: .

Welcome back, Peg, and welcome to our cruising group, Nani.

Talk to ya'll soon, off to take some more tylenol for my aches. Being a grandma is so much fun, but I sure wish I had the energy of a 6 year old. :Pinkbounc :bounce:

I sometimes DO have the energy of a 6 year old.....but only for about 15 minutes! ;) Then I have to go lie down!

Michelle, I'll answer the question you just asked Peg. Our town car is scheduled to pick us up at 11AM, so we would get there just about noon. HOWEVER, I've been meaning to check with Peg to see how she feels about bumping that up one hour, so we can hit the terminal with a little time for 'meet and greet' with this wacky gang before boarding.

Hey, next week is the 75 day mark and all our first-timers get to play the stay up late for reservations game! Remember you need to be paid-up first ::yes::

I know I'd like you guys there earlier... esp. since we're all wearing our boas!

We applied for our passports yesterday :) (I know we don't have to have them but dh wanted to get them.) We also bought snorkel sets for dd6 and dd8 so they can get used to them before the trip. Getting really excited now! When exactly can us 75 dayers logon next week to book excursions?

Michelle, we have a pop up camper. We had so much fun last year staying there in the camper that we immediately knew we'd be going back. Taking the camper is like taking a piece of home with us. We get the dining plan and only have to keep breakfast stuff in the camper. The bathrooms are large and clean. I just love it. Well, put it this way, our older son is a negative nelly and he can't wait to go back either! He even wants to go to the Hoop De Doo Revue again. Boy, this was a rambly little paragraph! :confused3

We have one snorkel set so I need to find a few more. Any suggestions?

I would love if you got to the port earlier so we could say a quick hello (also would love to see those boa's)!
Shelly
I am going to PM you with some info on our favorite things to do while at the Fort.
