I prefer with the date - but if ends up easier to go without i would be fine with that two

we are:

dizney-cruiser = Janice
dizney-cruiser dsis = Linda

thanks!

I have a good start on the button list. It really won't be a problem making them both ways I just need to keep the lists seperate.

Devin, thank you for the offer of paper but I too have access to colors and weights. Standard paper works best because of the cutting and pressing onto the button.

To be honest, I don't know how to get the names off of the Mickey head! I will look for a plain one unless someone has it already. Just send me a private message and I will give you my email. My computer has Disney print on it but I am willing to play with other Disney styles.

I will probably drive my family insane :rolleyes1 before I find the "perfect" set up! Oh well, everyone needs a hobby!

I can't believe my baby gets his hgh school diploma tonight!

:tinker:

Congratulations to your baby! A testament to his parents' dedication, I believe! Our oldest has two weeks of summer school before he gets his diploma. At this point, we're just going to be happy when he gets it. Don't really care if it's tonight, or two weeks from now. (Getting awfully philosophical in my old age...)

Buttons...DH is not a DISer, can we use a nickname or specially made up name for his button? And, maybe something cute (or manly for DS7) for the kids?

Congrats girl - you Rock!

Sorry I've been so busy and haven't had time to post. I have been lurking - keeping up with the reading and I am verclempt (SP?) at the way all my new cruise family members are playing so well with each other!!!! I love the idea of pins!!!

We'll have bracelets, pins and crocs to know each other by!

I am sorry I missed chat last week, I have been going to the stables after work and with this time change miss you all. I hope I can make it next week, and hopefully some of you who haven't been will try too!

I am so very excited about our cruise, Jackie and I got to meet the lovely David & Monica last night and they brought our towels to us. Very sweet of them I might add.

So - less than 5 months - IM SOOOOOO EXCITED!!!!!

Shelly - I have a jpeg of a lime green mickey head on my computer. If you pm me with your e-mail address, I'll send it to you.

hehehehehe...I just booked us at the Candy Cane Inn for Fri/Sat/Sun July 14-16. :thumbsup2 YEAH DISNEYLAND!!! You hear that Carolyn? Can't wait to ride the re-habbed Pirates pirate: Wendy, thanks for reminding me about the CCI, I've always thought it was so cute when I walked by it. Now, do we get a 2 day hopper and play for half a day Sunday too.....hmmmmmmmmmmm?

Gee, I guess I'd better tell Peggy!

Linda, CONGRATULATIONS :Pinkbounc ....I think the DIS needs a "I paid of my Disney trip" smiley! I'm not too far behind you...one more payment in July and we're good to go. ::yes::

Wojo.....Funny, very funny! :rotfl2:

We can put whatever you decide. :rolleyes1 Within reason, of course! :rolleyes1

Just let me know.

:tinker:

Congratulations, Linda!!! How fun for you!!

Shelly...will check with DH this weekend about a name and advise. He joked about being Surly, the 8th dwarf. At least, I think he was joking...

Jackie...ok, we're in. Can't believe it, but DH said he'd come to DL, too. In July. On a Saturday. Really, can't believe it...are you two exchanging emails, or something? In cahoots? Are you the new pool-girl?? Won't do a whole day there, but will be there first thing Saturday, so we could do a little park together or just meet for lunch?? (Would I be a stalker if I booked us at the CCI for Friday night, so we don't have to drive up Saturday am?)

Carolyn

I would join you guys too, but Conner leaves for camp on that Sunday, and Tim will be in China. Unlike some DHs he actually likes to go to DL and would be bummed if we went without him. :goodvibes

Hello All,

David (Dad) Barczak once again. I would love to read all 150 pages of this thread to find out what and if any activities, t-shirts, pins (read something about those on the last few pages) etc this large group may be planning. My problem is that I have 4 kids who are rather rambuctous and need about 6 more hours each day. Right now I am coaching 2 baseball teams for my 3 boys; got a couple of tournaments the next 7 days with up to 10 games possible. My 15 3/4 yr old DD has decided that she wants to learn how to drive. We have gone out twice and it takes me several adult beverages to recuoperate from the experience. So far the damage has been on blown out tire and a number of bushes destroyed. Been considering administering the adult beverages before we go out. Maybe it will be less stressful. Then, believe it or not I have this day job where they actually expect me to be productive. I also coach the middle school golf team and we are getting ready to start try outs and practices. Golf is suppose to be relaxing by try relaxing when you got 12 hormonal male 12 & 13 years olds trying to act cool on the golf course.

So, if there is a kind or less time challenged fellow Disney fan out there that could possibly bring me up to date I would be greatful. Would even spring for a beer or two on the boat for you.

A little more about the Barczak's. My kids really like Disney but I am the real fanatic. My favorite is Tigger. Got Tigger all over the walls of our bedroom. Got Disney stuff all over the walls of the family room, kitchen, entry way, and living room. Tried to sneak something Disney into the dinning room once and got in trouble from my beautiful wife. Says that is her room and I best leave
it alone. I have.

This will be our 3rd cruise. We've done both the Eastern and Western. We prefer the Western.

Mary (DD) will be 16 at cruise time. She is very quite, loves to read, loves, school, has a beautiful signing voice (sang for President Bush at the 2005 National Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony), and is really smart. I am not positive she is actually my child because I am just the oposite. Like her parents she suffers from a eating disorder. We have a real problem leaving the table. Hence, we could do well to loose a few (ok actually a bunch of fews) pounds.

Tim (DS#1) will be 13 at cruise time. Loves baseball and golf. Hates to read, hates school, has no idea where dirty clothes are suppose to go and is deathly afraid of making bodily contact with a toilet handle. He is definately my child.

Matthew (DS#2) will be 8 11/12ths at cruise time. He is the family athlete. Runs fast, jumps high, throw hard, is as skinny as a rail and cocky as all get out. Damn kid lapped me last time we went to the gym and ran laps. I had to make some lame excuse about my hamstring not feeling good. Makes friends really easy.

Andrew (DS#3) will be 7 at cruise time. A really small guy with a big heart. Another reader and thinker. This may be to much info but Andrew is a Disney souvinier from a trip my and the lovely wife made alone in December of 1998. Can be really annoying with all his thought provoking questions. Heck, I do not know why ants can carry things 25 times their weight or why flowers are different colors. My standard answer is "That's how God made them". I think he is starting to catch on that maybe his Dad is not really that smart.

Then there is my lovely wife Alison. We got married while still in college to a less than enthusiastic acceptance of our parents. But here we are, almost 24 years later still enjoying life together. Can't imagine life without her. She is the smart (and good looking) one of the family. She has a BBA in civil engineering and a Masters in Finance but has not worked outside the home for incremental compensation for 12 or so years now. Buy, damn does she work hard at home keeping those 4 kidlets in line and the one big kidlet.

Sorry for the information overload and extremely long and obnoxious post.

TTFN
David

Wendy...DH doesn't dislike DL...it's just the heat and crowds anticipated for a Saturday in July that would normally get a hearty, "NO WAY!" Guess Jackie and Peggy have some sort of magnetism that's getting him to say, "Sure!"

David...Can't wait to meet your family!! They sound like they keep you hopping. My DS (soon to be 8) is a reader and a thinker, too. He and your youngest may be too peas in a pod! And, my oldest DS and your oldest DS must be related somehow. Or, maybe it's just being a teenage boy, I don't know. But, it's enough to tax a person's soul at times!
