OK my OCPD friends...when the Navigators are up from the double-dip I will be revising my 'chart' and figured I'd make a version to post/e-mail so you could all use the basic page and add your own information/plans.

As each subsequent double-dip occurs, we can note verification of the schedule or changes DCL may make from one group to the next.

The chart will include:
Day/Date/Port, lunch 'theme', attire, dinner menu theme, main stage show, DRINK OF THE DAY, and theme of the adult nighttime activity (60's night, 80's night). There will be a place for you to note your own plans/excursions/Palo reservations or any other shipboard activities that might apply to you and your family. There will be a space for information on pre-cruise day also. I will note when the Castaway Club and DVC meets are and the character breakfasts.

How's that sound?
:thumbsup2 :woohoo: Sounds great!!

OK, here's what my 'master' looks like right now. I got the info from the regular Western itinerarys/Navigators and will be tweeking it with double-dip information. The "Normal Western" column will go away and the "Itinerary" section will be bigger so you can put in your personal information.

Does anybody know what the Sail Away drink is called?

Hi all- Just got back from a weekend at Lake Tahoe (women's retreat). Had tons of fun, but nice to be home.
Jackie- Thanks so much for making a list we can fill in with events (I love having those, and now I don't have to make one myself).
Kris... Regarding Crocs... most of family has beach style - mine are aqua, DSs (from youngest to oldest) have royal blue, navy and black, DH has Cayman in navy. I also ordered the flip flops in lime/fushia and chocolate/light blue. WAY comfortable!
Devin- Sorry to hear about your loss. My husband's mom died in March, so we can empathize with your pain. We'll be praying for your family.

Have to go unpack now.

:furious: :furious: :furious: It to FIVE TRIES to edit that last post.....TIME FOR A SERVER UPDATE GUYS!!!!

Thankfully I was wise enough to copy my post so I didn't have to retype everything :thumbsup2

WHEN? Can you come too???? I'd take a day off work to play with you ::yes::

Tell him it is HOT HOT HOT :sunny: We won't be out of the tripple digets for the next four months!

We had the same heat discussion here as Friday was hot and it was 96 here yesterday. (Today, much better, thankfully for me!) The only way I could ever go to Arizona in the summer and survive (and be pleasant!) is if I could guarantee my body it would be in A/C or pool water 24 hours/day. I don't know how you guys handle it! (Travel section today had a whole layout on resorts in Arizona that tempted me, though.)

He'll know probably this week when/if he's going and would probably go sometime this month. He'd love to take you and Peggy out to lunch or dinner, even if the kids and I can't stand the heat!

Here's our life in the summer:

Air conditioned house to air conditioned car to air conditioned office/restaurant/moive theater/mall. I tend to do more 'at home' stuff in the summer...rent chick flicks for movie marathons...with intermissions spent in Peg's pool. I, of course, survive with a MUCH better disposition than little sister, who hates the heat :sunny: But then, I don't go to the stables to tend to equine children either.

Tell Brent we'd be glad to break bread with him if his schedule allows! ::yes::

Hi Guys I haven't been on since Thrusday and boy were you guys busy!!
Devin
I am really soory for you loss. I will keep you and your family in my prayers.
Jackie
Thanks for the list. I can not wait to read some of the trip reports from the 1st DD.
I keep wanting to get a pair of crocs but still haven't. Hopefully I will soon. We had Vito jr's Grad party this weekend and had a blast the weather was perfect and the kids had tons of fun playing in the pool.I am so happy that it is summer I really love having the kids home and we really get to go over to Disney many times a week. On days we don't go park hopping we relax in the pool. Life couldn't be better :cloud9: :beach: I love the new smiles popcorn:: so cute. Hope everyone has a magical day :sunny: .

Jennifer...DD is turning 5 in June and DS is turning 8 in July. I know he'd enjoy chatting with another kid on this cruise, if your DS is interested in exchanging email addresses. Both DD and DS are comfortable playing/hanging out with boys and girls.

Carolyn,
My DS is not that computer savvy yet. He plays games but I have not taught him about email, etc. (On purpose.... :rolleyes1 ) Maybe I'll teach him this summer and if so, I'll let you know. He's love to meet him onboard though.

Jennifer

I had an idea as I was reading the live report from the first double dip cruise. I may have access to a button maker and could make buttons for our group. I just sent out an email asking to use it (odds are pretty good). What do you all think?

::yes::That would be fun! What do you want to put on them?

We'll be ordering silcon bracelets also (neon green with glow in the dark lettering, exact wording to be voted on later, but will include 'double-dip..double-dippers' in some way). Which reminds me, I really like the "Twice the Magic" term DCL is using for our cruise. Bracelets will be about $2 each (adult and child sizes available). I'll be organizing this one, probably at the 75 day mark.

We've been tossing around ideas for 'exchange' items also...maybe something for the kids to exchange from their home town/state...postcards or something like that :confused3

Oh lordy, look at the time...gonna be late for work!

Jackie...I am still toying with the idea of a quick trip to AZ, but we'll see how his schedule works. The kids have a lot going on, so weekend would be better for us and I think DH can do his work over a weekend. I'll let you know if he's coming when I know. You may need to be a little flexible with him, though. When he's in work mode, watch out!:) (It was his idea, however, for a mini-DIS meet with you guys!)

Michelle...Vito Jr.'s grad party sounds like fun!

Jennifer...Well, DH is...um...a little bit of a geek, so even DD4 has her favorites online! She doesn't spell really, so she can't navigate much on her own. Only links off pages like Disney and Barbie!:) DS plays a few games, but mostly is really into Runescape. He's EXTREMELY good about letting us clear out his email (mostly spam, of course) before he checks his own. He likes sending (and receiving) quick notes from family...his whole face lights up. I wouldn't necessarily rush your DS into it just for this, maybe they could exchange postcards??

Shelly...I think buttons are a good idea! With Jackie's bracelets, we'll be all decked out. Then, I won't feel left out that I ordered black/khaki Crocs, instead of the DIS green ones!

Carolyn

 :yay: :cool1:
Where is everyone ordering the Crocs from?
website PLEASE :dance3:
This website is driving me crazy - time for an upgrade, I think! :surfweb:

Good afternoon everyone, :wave2:

I just finalized my plans this morning with my travel agent, and I am now booked on this cruise with all of you. I am so very excited. :goodvibes I had originally booked for May 5/07, but couldn't wait a year and really wanted to go on this one. I have a cat 9 guarenteed cabin (that's all they have left, they are almost sold out) so I am glad that I booked today and didn't wait any longer.
It will be my son, who will be 8 at cruise time, and myself on this cruise. This will be our first disney cruise and only our second cruise in total. My son fell in love with Costa Maya last year on our other cruise so he is thrilled that we are going back there! :goodvibes
I've never been to Castaway Cay but hear it is beautiful, so I am excited to visit it twice.
Let's hope the next 6 months go by quickly.... :sunny:
