Trying to answer questions...

I'd like to eat at Parrot Cay on embarkation day, but I won't know if the CM is directing me to Topsiders or not! (Following me on this trip is not advisable!)

Early seating for dinner. No request for rotation. No ressies linked.

DIStag: So, if there are 20 staterooms to tag and we're only tagging as we receive one, we'll have to hustle (surly?) to get everyone tagged? Or, does it just seem like that?

We are bringing a dry erase board, but are only traveling with the four of us, soooo if any fellow DISers want to leave messages for us, we'd LOVE it!

Further to chat topic of adult dance party nights: Did I read correctly and they start at 10:45pm??

And, Peggy, feel better! (Mean ole DH to give that nasty bug of his to you!)

let me see if i can answer some distag questions....

I will give everyone a DISTag packet when we meet at the promenade at 3pm or if you arrive early enough i will be at the terminal and i can give it to you there....

the packet will include a magnet, a list of rooms/Disers, and instructions. last time we played we put the magnet in the upper left hand side of the door out of reach of kids!!!

Just taking a moment to wish each of you a wonderful cruise. I had the pleasure of meeting Disneynut 1955, Vanvmom and Needalatte on my last cruise. They are wonderfull people and I am thrilled to hear that they will be together again on this cruise. Please book a brunch at Palo for me. Have a second helping of the stollen with berries and cream! At dinner order the chocolate souffle and the Panna Cotta for desert. No matter how FULL you are those two items are not to be missed. Have fun, enjoy, and may your days be filled with excitement. Safe travels!!!

Please give the big young B a huge hug for us!!!! I've been meaning to write him = but gosh I just haven't gotten around to it. PLease tell him we all are thinking of him here in Arizona and wishing him well! We are Soooo proud of him, I can just imagine how you and Surley are feeling!!!!

She did not get to try it on . Sence her lap top it no longet mobile she has to write out all of her records (I don't know the name of the class that she is in but she is has to montor a special needs child and write down and take pictrures all the movements they do) than type them so she can email her assiments to her proffeser.

any way she was up to 2 am working on her home work and never got to try it on. She called me before she went to bed, and said she is going to try it on over he mothers house just incase it needs to be talken it she will be right there. She hasn't even opened the box.
Man I can not stand this key board it hit the wrong keys all the time.

Yes, APL is the rotation we have REQUESTED, no guarantees.
Yes, Parrot Cay is the sit down restaurant, but it is a buffet. Server will get your drinks, but you go to the buffet. Topsiders is really cafateria style, as you have to walk through a line with a tray and thee is inside and outside seating.

carolyn, it doesn't matter WHERE the CM directs you....go where you want....just where you want may be crowded (really more of an issue if you aren't getting on the ship till after 1PM or so).

Still no bracelets here. I've got to wonder what happens to the mail between Phoenix and Elk Grove?! It seems I can mail TO Phoenix, but anytime someone mails to me FROM Phoenix things don't arrive! Disneynut1955 has sent me 2 packages (possibly 3) and none have ever arrived, and now Jackie's package seems to be MIA. What's up with that?!

I ordered gift baskets from Shirley today, ordered pillowcases for autographs, confirmed car reservtions, made kennel reservation for our golden retriever and checked that flights haven't been changed (have been changed 2x already). woohoo, almost here!

Wow, all I can say is Wow! You guys have been adding to the count. I got so excited when I saw a new name and just new it was a lurker. I was sooooo wrong, blast it. We will be eating wherever it is close. HA HA So I guess that will be Parrot Cove. I have learned, after all theses many years, to never get between eating and my DH if I still want to have a sweetie with me. Hence the reason we have early dining. MEN...cant live with them (oh yeah I dont) and cant live without them (that must be why I miss him)

If this is true, that will make my youngest sons (and mine) trip perfect before we even leave the dock. So, which one is it? Parrots or Topsiders? Or both? That's the one we will be heading to.

Just found out that DH will be leaving for China on this coming Monday and will not be home until Nov 6th! We are working a polling place for the election on the 7th, and then leaving on the 9th! Guess the final planning and packing are all up to me! Did I mention he will likely leave again the day after Thanksgiving to fly back for 3 more weeks. YIKES!
