But ya, did anyone see my ? above....when you put a debit card attached to your KTTW card do they charge an amount upfront or just all that you used in the end?

Yuk, sorry about the snow!

When you put anything on your KTTW car, they do not charge it until the end of the cruise. That works out well for us, as it goes onto the next billing cycle.

Ok, i was just scared they'd put like a $500 hold on my card or something. Dmom said something about it and it freaked me out.


It's not snowing yet, but the forcast says it's possible this week....just in time for us to leave

With free room service onboard 24/7, he can live like a king!

Exactly! Of course, it's always a rude awakening when he gets home and he can't order the cheese platter whenever he wants and have someone make it and bring it to him!

On St Maarten we're doing the Lord Sheffield pirate cruise. It sounds like so much fun! Plus they had no age requirements since it's a private company which is great. We have a toddler & pre-schooler with us.

We're doing the Lord Sheffield, too! It got such great reviews from people -- we're really looking forward to it!

If we get on board credit from booking our trip, how do we get it?

We receive a card from Guest Services in our stateroom that says,
"We are pleased to advise you that a credit of $XXX has been applied to your shipboard account."

On St Maarten we're doing the Lord Sheffield pirate cruise. It sounds like so much fun!

We did this and had a blast. Captain Rob and crew are great.

Unfortunately, we all have to get up early that morning, because of customs in St. Thomas. . .

TIP: Wear nice pajamas the night before.

. . . At dinner tonight, DS asked if we could run in the mornings, so we can add him to the morning walk group.

Our "rude awakening" happens sooner -- when we have lunch at the airport and have to pay for it.

Packing for kiddos is done - all my stuff is laid out. DH has yet to even start. He thinks he will make a run to the outlet malls in Orlando to beef up his wardrobe. We leave for Buffalo tomorrow - early morning Wednesday flight.


ybells - here you on the baby stuff. I am buying diaps in Florida and am bringing a pump instead (will take up less room than formula). Now just hoping this kid will actually take a bottle again (we practiced last week) or no Palo dinner for me or nursery for him! When was your babe born - mine is June 13 so will be 5 months on the cruise.

Just have to say, Wait until you see my fish extender. I purchased the materials and my neighbor put it together for me. She did a really great job. If someone tells me how to post a photo, I will.

Good Morning from Chicago at a balmy 30 Degrees!

I had to take out my winter coat and wear it to work! Come on Saturday....I need some more 70 - 80 degree weather!

I don't know how you can all start packing, when we still use so much of the stuff that we bring.

I am a bit strange about buying underwear and socks - we all have enough to last us for like three weeks. So you know, if there's ever a disaster in CT, we may not have food, water, or other clothing, but we WILL have clean underwear and socks! Since it's cold here, all our summer clothes were ready to pack, and we still had enough underwear etc. to wear this week.
