It looks like we have some interest in a morning walk by:

Woody,
Lauri,
spoohs,
FrenchSnowWhite + DH,
Tink's Mommy, and
flymv's DW.

Let's plan on meeting in the morning on sea days.

Next, we need to pick a time. How does 7:30 sound? On our last cruise, that was the time that the fitness center opened. (Anyone know if this has changed?) That way, if the weather is bad, we could commandeer the treadmills.

Runners and joggers are welcome too. We will wave as you pass by.

Woody

All you early risers are making me feel guilty! :rolleyes1 I was trying to figure out whether or not we should cancel our 8:15 am excursion in St Thomas because it was too early. :lmao: We are normally early risers too but I thought with the Pirate Party the night before, we might now make it in time.

Does anyone know how customs work in St Thomas? I hear we all have to report at a certain time before the ship is cleared? Does everyone have to go down in person, or can we send one rep for the stateroom?

Rainy rainy day here today so I think I'll give Shirley a call to brighten my morning :goodvibes

Everyone needs to attend, and it is early! Last year we let our daughter go in her pj's so she could just get up and go. If I remember correctly certain cabins go at certain times. I do remember it being pretty quick though (at least for us). The important thing to remember is the quicker everyone shows up the quicker they clear the ship and everyone can go ashore. We docked last time, so I am not sure if it works differently with tenders.

Pencil me in for the walk as well. Depends on what the kids and DW are looking to do. My DS & DD are early risers (me too) but the DW isnt...I awake to a friendly little bobblehead (DS) at my face every morning at around 6 a.m. but let the DW sleep in till at least 7:30. Cruising will be different with everyone in the same room so I expect the DW will have to turn into a morning person...I hope :scared:

This will be so much fun!!!!

But I have to tell you that the day we go at St-John, we have an excursion that leaves really early, so don't think we are going to make it on that morning:goodvibes

But finally did someone mentionned the meeting place? Where do we all meet? outside the fitness center would make sens!!!!!

Bad weather here last night, had a tree blown down in the yard. Just makes me even more ready to get going.

730 sounds good to me, won't promise I will make it every morning but will attempt:laughing:

Not much longer and we will all be on Mickey's Boat:dance3: :dance3:

Woody,
I have a private list going for those participants in DIS Fairies and Dis Tag.

I do recall a general list way back. YNDY had a chart of kids by ages or was it Frenchsnowwhite. I don't recall.

I too recall someone saying that, but don't remember who it was. I think they were were going to prepare a list and distribute it by private email, at the port, and onboard to our group (and not place it on the public boards).

My kids are boy 10, girl 8, boy 6, boy 3

We love this location--we've been there 3 times now. DS is 13, and DD is 10. She got her date last year (they give them here in 4th grade), but we've switched dates already. Is your oldest a DS or DD (mine are both J's too)?

Lauri

The kids had a couple days off of school this week so we are at our ranch. It poured all day yesterday. There was actually a tornado in Pensacola, FL that is 45 mi. from us right now. The sun it out today which is nice. I hope when I get back home on Monday that our tickets will be here.

I had this nightmare last night. I missed getting on the cruise and I was going to try to get on the next day but knew that was impossible. I was all heartbroken. Funny thing too, I wasn't going with my family. I was going with two friends and they got on the ship and I didn't. What a dream. I will be sure to be at the port early in the morning.

For the walkers. I may try to walk. My kids are early risers so I'm not sure yet.

Hey you guys!!!!!!!!! This is way tooooooooooo coollllllllllllllllll:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

So glad you have all your things!!!!!!

We booked thru AAA so I guess we will be the last ones to have our tickets!!!!:rotfl: :rotfl:

Hey people, this is getting serious!!!!!!!!!!!!!:woohoo:

Just got back from Wal-Mart and bought ourself a travel airdryer, and for me a ceramic straightener:banana:

Now we're in business!!!!!

So great that everyone is getting their documents. Manon, we booked through AAA too, and even though they come later, we still get to go on the ship:banana: .

I'm going to print out all my travel documents today, to make me feel like I have some paperwork too.

And if you didn't do online check-in, make sure you do it. It will save you SO much time when you get to the port (and the information gets saved so you don't have to fill it out again for you next Disney cruise.)

as I was opening the package I was getting all misty eyed. PATHETIC WUSS........I am sure I will be bawling as they announce our name getting on the ship. I have been planning/saving for this so darn long! I really want my children to have wonderful memories of the family vacations we took when they are grown and gone.....and I get all googly just thinking about it. I pray that this cruise is everything I hope it will be!

We are cruising on Nov 10th. My self, DH, DD age 7, DS age 3, and DS age 5 months. Don't know out stateroom yet, just that we are in a Cat 3. Looking forward to meeting people.

Stimpy, we are from LI too! Glad to know that there will be fellow Long Islanders on the cruise.

Does UPS deliver all of th docs? UPS does not come by until late every night. I can't wait to get to the house and see.

DH and I have been planning this cruise for the past two years:woohoo: I just want DD to have the time of her life and make some wonderful family memories:love:

I'm glad I'm not the only one who'll be misty-eyed as we board the ship!!!!! There is nothing better than seeing those looks of pure joy and excitement on my kids' faces, especially our teenage daughter, who is on the brink of being too cool to be so unguarded, and yet freely admits how excited she is about this cruise.
