well I'll do my bit to keep us off page twoooooooo but you'll have to excuse me... both DD & I caught the ugliest virus this week.
I've been down for the count since Monday and she's been out since about 4 a.m. Wednesday morning...
Still running fevers - but the icky-would-get-us-locked-in-our-cabin-shipboard part seems to be over.

All I kept thinking was "good - get this out of the way before we sail... at least we're not onboard!!"

Ditto.....here too. I have got 2 kids down for the count and waiting for the ball to drop for the rest of us. High fevers, Stomach ache and such.....Better now than later.

I can't even convince my husband to bring his suit (luckily he has agreed to a dress coat and slacks), so no way could I convince him to dress in full pirate regalia! However, I do have a full costume for our son, so providing he cooperates, at least one of us will be in full pirate dress.

I hate Halloween too, glad I'm not the only one! I just am not a fan of dressing up - though I have gotten better about Halloween since our son was born. I even wore Pirate Mickey ears at the Pirate Party in March because my son begged me to. I'll be wearing the ears on Pirate night on the ship - my one concession to dressing up!

We have the costumes for our two kids. Now just have to get ours. Trying to convince DW to buy now, not wait until Halloween clearance in case nothing is left. KMart has 25% sale on Halloween costumes, so now may be an opportunity to get one somewhat inexpensively.

My kids and nephew are dressing as pirates but the adults so far are opting out.

We will wear the bandana they give you plus I bought an eye patch for DH , but that is as far as we go. I over pack as it is and don't want to bring anything else down.

I can't believe I am about to say this, but I am jelous of you all that have gotten sick. So far we have been very healthy and at least one of us always gets sick in the fall (around Thanksgiving) so I am scarred we will be sick on the cruise.

Hey all - I really have nothing to add, but we were heading for the bottom of page one, so I was worried we'd be bumped to page 2. Don't want to lose the good wine for the stateroom and wine tour!

I picked up some pirate costumes at the dolla Tree for $1. This way I don't feel like I'm wasting money if the kids only wear them once.
