November 10, 2007 - MAGIC - Eastern

I did my packing today while everyone was at school! I just need to add the dress clothes on the top. The kids have early dismissal this afternoon, birthday party later, and then teacher conferences later this evening. I had a cup of caffinated Dunkin coffee before I started and I am still buzzing from it right now. I normally do not drink coffee! Later I need to go to the library to get a book that I may or may not read.

Tomorrow...Nail appoinments, another birthday party and early to sleep!

You will be able to recognize me by the Purple Mickey head on my lanyard. We don't have regular mardi gras beads but will still have black and red beads on. They have a surprise on them but I won't tell!

Almost had heart failure here today! I just checked in on-line for Southwest. While going through my cruise paperwork, I couldn't find the kids' reservation confirmation for coming home! (DH & I are booked seperately since we used reward credits) I tore apart the house looking and wondering...."OMG! I hope I didn't forget to get them airfare home!!!"

Fortunately, I found it in the paperwork for another trip we are taking.

Off to pack some more! Got DD mostly done, DS and myself started......DH is on his own!

Everyone but dh has something packed. I will finish up by tomorrow night.
I got our family green leis since they were out of mardi gras beads. So we'll or (I) will be wearing those Sat.
We are driving into port Sat. morning since we are 2.5 hrs from there. Not sure what time to leave yet.

Its been in the 70's down here this past week. I think it will warm up a little this weekend. Bring a sweatshirt. Mornings have been a little chilly.

Hello all, I'm about to leave work for the day so this will be my last post. I hope everyone has safe travels down to the Port and I can't wait to meet you all on Saturday. I totally spaced on the Mardi Gras beads, but I did pick up some Lime Green Mickeys at Home Depot so I'll try to attach those to my clothes on our meet day.

Thanks guys - I'm dosed to the gills on Vicodin, Soma, and Naproxen - but I WILL get there!!!
I'm determined... even if they have to wheel me onto the boat, I can spend the first couple of days in the hot-tub and relaxing on a chaise lounge - better therapy can't be had!!

If you're staying at the Hyatt tomorrow - look for me in the hot-tub by the pool tomorrow evening!

We now are in 5138. Disney called and let us know last night. Great way to start on vacation before getting on the plane.

Woohoo!!! That's a navigator verandah! You'll LOVE that cabin - we were in 5134 last spring on the Wonder and I ADORED it!!
We're on the other side of the deck at 5640 - just look for the door!!

I forgot to mention that I swung by Party America today and found a 6 pack of green mardi gras beads!!
They're over in the St. Patrick's day section!

Wow, this place is really slowing down, as people fly off to Florida and pack. I finished my laundry and got most of my packing done today. Just have to write notes for the kids to pick them up from school early tomorrow. Looking forwards to meeting everyone on Saturday .

My DD is so excited! She just found out today that a girl in her 2nd grade class is going on the cruise as well. What a coincidence! I guess they were leaving tonight, and the girls started talking about it in school and realized they would be on the same trip.

Safe trips to everyone leaving tomorrow. We fly out at 1:00 and then off to the Radisson at the port. I really can't believe it's here.

At least DH finally started packing. I was beginning to worry.

Hello all! Can't believe we are almost there! We leave for Buffalo tomorrow @ noon. We actually leave on Friday night from our home at 10pm and our flight is at 12:50 am pacific time on Saturday!!

Okay - I finallyfinished everything at 2:30 a.m. - and lessee... the flight is at 8:30 a.m., so we have to be at the airport at 6:30 a.m. (it's Denver, you have to be there 2 hrs early, trust me) so we leave at 6... and if I get up by 5:20, I can shower and make coffee and all... so.... pushing 3 a.m. here, I think I might get 2 hours of sleep tonight! lol.

So much for getting done early!

Ah well, maybe next time.

Plenty of time to relax when we're on board!

DD and I both woke up with really bad head colds. I feel crappy so I know she does too. I'm dreading the plane ride this afternoon already! I think we may have to take the Benedryl route with her today Ordinarily, I wouldn't but I can feel pressure in my ears already so I'm pretty sure she will be hurting on the plane.

What a way to start a vacation.

And, I completely forgot to get beads!

Ok, back to packing! Yep, we leave at 12:30 and I still have to finish! Did I mention I'm a big procrastinator?
